Durtrak hated the cold of this planet, it was far different then any other planet he has walked. He stayed inside his chambers where the relics of the past hung on the walls; old swords, several skeletal remains from his kills, as well as several other Trandoshan trinkets. He waited infront of his small shrine he had, concentrating all his dark energies throughout his quarters so it could be felt everywhere. Kav Dem, a human hybrid, was to meet Durtrak here to receive training he so desperately needed. Only two apprentices of his have succeeded, and Durtrak was curious if this would be a third.

Kav was tossed into the room, broken and bleeding. He had been hurt, not life threatening but he was beaten. Lying face down on the floor, he thought back at why he had came here. He had heard of power, whispers.....in the dark.
He heard the echo of footsteps through the blood clogging his ear. Trying to act less hurt than he was, he said. "Whose there?"

As soon as the doors closed behind him, Durtrak released the Force as the dark presence inside stopped and returned to normal. He got to his feet as he brushed off his dark robes slightly before turning around to look down at the broken sentient before him. How disrespectful of him...
"Risse to your feet, Acolyte."
Durtrak demanded, narrowing his eyes on the man bleeding inside his own quarters.

Kav tried to lift himself to his feet. He struggled to push his body off the floor, his hands slipping on his own blood. To weak to break his fall, his head smacked down on the floor with a sickening crack. There he lay.

Kav closed his eyes and tried to stay conscious. The world started to spin around him, and he felt light headed.

Kav tried to stand again, tried to support his weight. Instead, he fell to one knee, barely holding himself up. He managed to lift his head up and look at the figure....he could barely make out the features. He said weakly "Train me to be stronger than all the rest......to kill at whim, to destroy whatever I wish....and I will do whatever you wish...anything.."

Faced with the ultimatum of death, Malkav somehow found the strength in himself to once again push himself to his feet. His legs shaking...he tried to put one foot in front of the other...but instead crumpled back toward the floor.
15 seconds......focus....you can do this...

He pushed himself onto his feet, a new power found inside himself...

Malkav fought to keep his balance. How much longer could he hold his current position? Not long, he knew that for a fact. He struggled hard to try to not appear weak in front of his new.....master.

Kav hesitated, still breathing heavily. He lowered his hand as he thought. Everyone he ever told, everyone, treated him differently. They called him a freak, beat him up, teased him.....until he hurt them.

Durtrak commanded, gesturing to a metal barrel that had swords sticking out. While it was a bold move that Kav showed, it was the wrong time for him to show it, especially in his state. Durtrak then waited for him to grab a sword and do as he commanded, his lightsaber still rested in his grip.

Kav swung his hair, whipping the sweat off his brow, slapping on the floor with a smack. He wiped his brow again to get the remainder of the sweat, this time wiping more blood than sweat away.
He picked up a old metal sword that was leaning against the cold chamber wall. He swung it to the left and right, getting used to its weight. He didn't no anything about sword fighting
He looked at his new Master. He was about to find out.
