Acolyte reborn! (Kav Dem's training)

[Phil]

"Now... let me sshow you what the dark sside isss... the power you will ssoon learn to know..."

Durtrak then reached out with his hand as he grasped Kav's neck through the Force, lifting him off the ground as he attempted to squeeze his life to an inch away from death. He did not intend to kill him... yet, only to demonstrate the dark powers he does not yet understand.

 

[Ka've]

Kav's eyes fluttered open. He still lay on the stone floor in his Masters room..his Master still in the middle of the room, concentrating on the Dark side..

Kav's hand reached up to his neck...for some reason it felt sore...It was of little importance however. His Master had not killed him...that was good. So what was next?

 

[Phil]

"And thisss..."

Durtrak pulled out his Lighsaber once more, waving it so the tip was pointing directly at Kav's chest. That was when the Trandoshan gave his teeth revealing smile as he held a tighter grip around the Acolyte's neck.

"...isss the Lightssaber, the weapon of the Bogan. Watch thisss demonsstration."

Durtrak then thrusted the lightsaber forward and straight towards Kav's chest. He intended to impale the young pest, and to end his life only after he understand the powers and the tools he could have learned. He instead decided to waste his time with Durtrak and did not learn anything before coming here. Now the price would be paid.

 

[Ka've]

Kav sidestepped the thrust to his chest. He felt the heat of the saber pass over his skin, singing it slightly. The smell of burning hair filled the room. He stepped back even more...unsure of what to do...

"...I realize what it is now Master.........." He dropped to one knee "I will do as you wish....."

 

[Phil]

"Good. Then... you will hold sstill."

Durtrak looked down at the being, it's side burned from the lightsaber. He pulled back his lightsaber once more, narrowing his eyes on the insignificant creature as he focused his tightened his grip on his saber. He would insure that this... creature would not escape the next blow. He then swiped his lightsaber towards the being's neck, intending to behead him while he knelt down in mercy.

 

[Ka've]

Kav stretched out his hand as the blade lowered toward his neck. Using all of his concentration he could muster, Kav pushed with the Force. The saber stopped in mid swing, his Master trying as hard as he could to finish the strike while Kav tried to stop the saber. Beads of sweat started to run down Kav's face only seconds after he stopped the blade, and it was only seconds more before his Master recovered with another attack or completed the current...either way the outcome looked grim....

Still sweating heavily, Kav said with a raspy voice ".....Train me.....and I will be forever loyal....." His breathing started to become difficult. His vision started to fade...and so did his concentration. He fell to the stone floor...his blurry vision staring at the ceiling.

 

[Phil]

"You seem to fail to undersstand your perdicament. You are weak, even asss you tried to defend yoursself. I am not even fighting with all of my sstrength and already you weakening, I can ssensse it. You will be a wasste of my time if I attempt to train you. If you undersstand the code of the Bogan, then you will know you are the weak and you musst be swept aside."

Durtrak scolded, arching his lightsaber back as he threw it towards Kav, the blade spinning rather fast in a dark yellow blur. Durtrak was guiding it towards Kav's neck in one more attempt to rid himself of this insect.

 

[Ka've]

Kav's neck popped as he swung it low to the ground, dodging the swipe. He lifted his head, a snarl on his face, and said "....Then you die..." He is of no use to us if he cannot train us...let me kill him...


Kav stopped resisting...and gave in...

Kav's eyes widened. The evilness that had slept inside him was now in full control. A evil grin came to his face..and he had only one thought. killlll........Kav, or what was him, sniffed his nose and unleashed a huge wad of spit aimed straight at his Masters eyes.

 

[Phil]

Durtrak frowned, this man was delaying the inevitable and insisted he live. As he once more hocked back to spit in the Trandoshan's face, Durtrak bent his head to the left, avoiding the spit that was aimed for his eye. In retaliation, Durtrak thrusted his right hand towards Kav, unleashing thunderous bolts of electricity upon him, attempting to char the man. He could not keep dodging every attack forever.

 

[Ka've]

Brilliant blue streaks of light emitted from Durtrak fingers, aimed for Kav. There was no where to go. Kav took a deep breath, closed his eyes and braced himself for impact.

His body screamed in agony. Heat was all around him, and rising. He was getting hotter and hotter, and the pain continued. Kav opened his eyes. The lightening still continued to strike him. He closed his eyes again, embracing in the small relief it provided him...........Do I die here....? Is this where my story ends....?

He took a second breath, determined that this was not the place....

 

[Phil]

Durtrak remained where he stood, the lightning continue to come out from his three fingers. He was showing no signs of backing down and contunied to focus his dark powers on the parasite until he was no longer recognised for what he once was. That, however required more powerful streams of lightning that Durtrak was more then welcome to send out. It would not be long now.

 

[Ka've]

Kav heard a shout in the distance. His eyes fluttered open weakly. A figure was standing in the doorway of the chamber, yelling at the top of his lungs.

It can't be...Kav thought as he realized who the figure was.

The student that Kav had assaulted still stood in the doorway, his voice still booming. Kav suddenly noticed that the rushing pain had stopped attacking his body. His eyes lifted up to where his Master was...the Master who had his head turned toward the student, eying the lightsaber in his hand.

Kav had to move. Now. He released the air in his lungs, accepting the pain as it shook his body. With newfound strength, he pushed himself off the cold floor and ran toward the Dark Jedi..scooping up the blade that he had been training with on the way, leaping in the air with a downward strike aimed at his Master....

 

[Phil]

((OOC: Yeah, I do not think so.

1. A student would not just barge into a Master's chambers without nocking.
2. Power playing(AKA, controling another person's character without permission) is not allowed.
3. From being hit with lightning for so long, and being an Acolyte with only the little you have been taught here, you would be in a poor condition.
