It had taken weeks - and several sessions in the bacta-tank - for Tempest to fully recover from her injuries. The confrontation with the Undead Dragon had been amongst the most difficult the Dark Lord had ever fought, perhaps even eclisping her duel against the former King of Thule. Even then, parts of her body were still sore and achy from the experience. But for what she had acquired? It had certainly proved to be worth all the trouble.
While it had taken some effort, Tempest had finally deciphered the coordinates coded into the compass. The device was eons in age, having been pulled from the corpse of the very dragon she slew. Despite her attempts, the Dark Lord had been yet unable to decipher the true origins of the compass or the people responsible for leaving the dragon as its protector. Instead, she’d programmed her Pilot droid to begin plotting a course wherever the artifact led them.
After all - there was only one way that she was going to learn what secrets the compass held.
The Dark Lord stood within one of the main hangars of Fortress Vader - watching as a few of her belongings were loaded onto the Starblossom-class yacht. The ship had followed her since leading the invasion on New Alderaan, and had been her signature from that day forth. She was adorned in her crimson-and-black armor, featured hidden behind the mask that everyone within their order had come to recognize.
Instead of plotting the course alone, Tempest had requested the presence of another Sith Champion for the expedition. She knew precious little about the man himself - but had no doubt that would change, given the long space voyage ahead of them. She left Kaldar with instructions to meet her just before departure, patiently waiting for the Champion before boarding the ship behind her.
