Ah, Another (Eeala Fuerhin's training)

[Trakon]

"This." Osman telekinetically pressed a button on a nearbye console and a small floating sphere arose from behind the dummies. It circled the two Jedi once, then stopped.

"Indicate target." Osman pointed towards Eeala. "Target locked. Awaiting attack command."

"Eeala, it has been programed to attack you slowly at first. It will shoot out a small stun round that shocks you. When I feel you are ready I will bring the difficulty level up. Any questions?"

 

[GABA]

Eeala watched curiously at the sphere, she looked down at the cylinder in her hands. There was a couple buttons and she felt with her fingers each one. The padawan activated the saber, jumping slightly at the click-hiss, she was fascinated by the the blue blade, moving it in the air some, getting comfortable.

"I think I'm ready." she said a bit nervous.

 

[Trakon]

"Don't worry, the blade is set to just sting if you touch it. I wouldn't do it myself, but at least you won't lose a limb. Now then, begin practice."

The little floating orb got to about three meters away from Eeala then fired one round at her chest.

 

[GABA]

Eeala jumped out of the way from the bolt, "That almost hit me!" she exclaimed in surprise, not expecting what she thought it would do.

 

[Trakon]

"You are supposed to defend with the blade. Aeorobics work well with one opponent who is not as fast. But you are going to learn to use the blade."

 

[GABA]

Eeala nodded and brought up her blade, "Ok," she took a deep breath, calming her nerves, "Ok..." her eyes focused on the orb.

 

[Trakon]

The droid floated again, this time to Eeala's left, then fired once more.

 

[GABA]

Eeala's eyes followed the droid, when it fired, she was ready it bounced off the blade at an obscure angle and hit the floor before her. She was amazed and gave a prideful smile.

 

[Trakon]

"Very good Eeala. Now try two from two separate places."

The droid floated a little higher and shot once, then quickly moved to her right and fired once more.

 

[GABA]

Eeala nodded, she reassured herself she could do it again, it was quick, the first shot, she blocked.

The droid moved and fired.

The shot froze. Eeala blinked, seeing the path the energy bolt was going to move, where her lightsaber was to move also, that whisper she had heard all her life told her where to go. The girl moved her lightsaber in the pre-determined path reflecting the bolt.

She could only stare at her saber, "I wanna do that again." she said in low whisper, slightly not believing what she just saw, "But don't tell me."

 

[Trakon]

Osman nodded at the request. He had felt her immediate and deep connection to the Force, that allowed her to so easily block the bolts.

The droid ducked to below her waist height, but stayed far enough away. It shot then jumped up higher and to her left.

 

[GABA]

The floating droid moved, she was bound not to get zapped by this thing, and as before her world slowed, almost to a momentary freeze; It allowed her to watch the path of the bolts, the path of her lightsaber, where she was to move next.

Her technique was sloppy as time speed up once more, she turned her blade upside down to block the low shot. Though knowing where and when the next bolt was too appear, her excitement got the best of her; though it was only a split second, Eeala failed to get her blade up fast enough to block the next one.

"Ouch." she hissed, dropping the training blade to look at her left arm, "That really did hurt!"

 

[Trakon]

"Hmmm, a minor burn. Would you like me to heal that?"

 

[GABA]

"Uhh..." she looked at the red sore, "No." she said quickly, "I can do it." the girl said with nervousness and turned her back to Master Osman. She used her right finger and begun rubbing in circles around the burn. It started to turn back to her peachy skin color.

 

[Trakon]

"Is it completely healed or did you just mask the collor to match with the rest of you?"

 

[GABA]

"No. It's healed." she said rubbing it with her fingers, "Just because the elders said I wasn't a healer, didn't mean I didn't know how to." Eeala informed Master Osman. She picked up the training saber, "I can do more than just find plants." she mumbled.

 

[Trakon]

"Now then, let's not be hasty." Osman nodded at the droid, even though it wasn't really watching him. "Continue."

It went to waist hieght and fired a small blast at her waist.

 

[GABA]

Eeala's reactions became quicker than previously. She dropped her blade to reflect the bolt. She wasn't going to get zapped again. The padawan watched the bolt hit the ground, leaving a slight scorch mark, "Master, is there ways to reflect the bolt back so that it can stop whoever is firing it?" she asked.

 

[Trakon]

"Yes." Osman lifted his hand up, and the droid changed its direction. It seemed to focus on Osman. "Watch, my padawan."

The droid fired three shouts, in burst form. It fired that way three times. Osman's blade appeared in his hand, and the first three blasts were knocked away into the wall. The second set of blasts were just spread. Then, the next three blasts were different. Osman hit the first away, the second away, then twisted his hand a little and the last blast went straight back to the droid. It fell, powered down.

 

[GABA]

Eeala watched carefully.

When the droid dropped to the ground, she picked it up. "That looks like it comes handy." she told him then gave an odd look at the spherical droid, "How come I can't feel it?" she asked, "Its like its hallow, I can feel a pulse move around it, but it doesn't give off any itself." the padawan explained her thoughts.
