Personality

Ailsa is quite eccentric. Some might think she's bipolar because her emotions and attitudes can seem to change drastically in seconds or on a whim. In reality, she's just extremely loose and enjoys manipulating the hell out of people. She thinks it's hilarious to act like someone's best friend or confidant and then suddenly spill all their secrets or literally stab them in the back.

As a certified genius, Elva is obviously super smart. Most people would never guess it, though, since she's never used her smarts for academia. Instead she uses it in her pursuit of royally f***ing with everyone around her. She manages to keep people around her only when she chooses to act in a way that they find acceptable. When she tires of someone's company she just acts in the opposite way and they inevitably vacate her vicinity.

Skills

Ailsa Elva is a well rounded, all around good soldier. She's good with pretty much any weapon she picks up, including but not at all limited to pistols, rifles, snipers, grenades, swords, lightsabers, crowbars, pickaxes, and speeders. She can't work a computer to save her life, but she's got people for those menial tasks on the rare occasions she needs them. She's a damn good pilot and quick to wire explosives, but pushing the button on the med kit bacta supply is about her limit when it comes to medical knowledge.

Never one to back down from a fight, Ailsa's strength lies in direct, confrontational combat. She can be sneaky, but doesn't particularly like to bother, so mostly doesn't even when the mission clearly calls for it. When it comes to boots on the ground, troops shooting the shit out of each other, she's your man. Being such a sociopath, she's also well suited to anything involving torturing sentients - this type of work is actually pleasurable to Elva.

Hand to Hand Combat: XXXXXXXXXX
Melee Combat: XXXXXXXXXX
Ranged Combat: XXXXXXXXXX
Force Abilities: XXXXXXXXXX
Slicing: XXXXXXXXXX
Explosives: XXXXXXXXXX
Piloting: XXXXXXXXXX
Medical Expertise: XXXXXXXXXX

Strength: She's a small woman, but she's trained well.

Constitution: Rarely sick, high endurance.

Dexterity: Quick with her hands and her feet. Her small stature lends itself to an agile nature.

Intelligence: Ailsa Elva is a marked genius. Most would never guess, as she makes it a point not to reveal such things to people. Her insanely high intelligence is a large part of why she seems so unhinged to normal people - she's usually simply having fun with them with cryptic, seemingly nonsensical statements.

Wisdom: Genius level intelligence goes well with wisdom. Elva knows how to get what she wants, she knows how to get people to work with her or to hate her, she knows how to manipulate people, and she knows how people think and the way the galaxy works.

Charisma: When she chooses to be sweet, Ailsa can be very charming. Her seemingly bipolar nature throws people off when first meeting her, but most who have interacted with her any number of times are able to get used to it. Most people who are in any way familiar with her find her eccentric and odd, but overall a good companion.

Background

Ailsa grew up in the Republic, with a big family that loved each other. She had adoring parents, three little sisters, and one older brother. She was a talented and smart young girl, which her tutors saw right away. Because they wanted the best for their little girl, her parents sent Ailsa away to a prestigious boarding school. Ailsa was angry with her parents for sending her away - she thought it meant that they didn't love her as much as her brother and sisters. She couldn't understand why they didn't want her. When she was 9, she managed to make her way back home without anyone knowing about it. She confronted her parents, who were confused and didn't understand why she was so angry with them. During the confrontation, Ailsa's older brother tried to intervene and in the resulting scuffle was killed. Unable to pretend everything was fine, her parents couldn't bear the thought of their daughter and sent her away to Ziost, where they knew the warriors of the planet would either mold her into a soldier or she would die. It no longer mattered to the heartbroken couple.

Even as young as she was, Ailsa excelled at the training put forth by the Sacred Band of Ziost. She remained in the training grounds for many years, only being accepted as an official member of the Band at age 15 and not attaining the elite rank of Sister until some years after that. During her training as a young girl, a particular Brother took an interest in her. He made friends with her and they became very close. Ailsa thought of him as the older brother she'd once had, but he had other ideas in mind. When she was a young woman he seduced her several times and eventually she became pregnant with his child. Ailsa was ecstatic at this prospect and expected that they would become a real family, that he would marry her. Instead he took her daughter when she was born and Ailsa hasn't seen or heard from either of them since.

Elva grew up an orphan on Ziost, raised by the collective warriors in her neighborhood within the city of New Adasta. She showed great insight and talent in various areas of combat and tactics at a very young age. The men and women who helped to raise her knew that she would become a great warrior one day and so they pushed her much harder than the rest of the children. She was subjected to harsh survival training and combat against older children well before others of her age had to endure the same. Elva never resented this fact, instead releshing in her superiority to the others. She knew she was special and that was why they trained her so much harder. They told her that she would become a Sister soon enough, and so she did. Only 16 years old and she was accepted into the elite ranks of the Sacred Band of Ziost.

Shortly after achieving that great milestone, Elva met a boy her age. He wasn't a Brother yet, but that suited her just fine. She liked that she was a higher rank than him. It gave her a certain amount of control over him. Sometimes he tried to tell her what to do, but she always put him back in his place. At one point, Elva became pregnant. The boy was scared and wanted her to get rid of it, but she would have no such thing. She didn't particularly want to raise it either, but she knew that the warriors in New Adasta would take care of the child just as they had taken care of her. When her daughter was born, Elva gave her to the same group of people that had raised her and went back to her place in the SBZ. She hasn't checked in on the girl since she left her.

Myrna was born in a small farming village on Dantooine. Her parents were simple folk with several other children, all of whom spent their days toiling in the fields in order to survive and make a meager living. At the young age of three, a Jedi Knight happened across their humble village and notice a Force signature in the little girl. Myrna's parents were proud to allow the Knight to take their child into the fold of the Jedi, protectors of the galaxy. She was raised with the other younglings in the Tython temple and caught on quickly to much of the techniques in using the Force. She was also fascinated with lightsabers and melee combat, and started trying to train with them much younger than the Jedi typically allow for. She did it on her own, though, so mostly no one bothered her about it.

Myrna showed signs of an atypical nature as a child, but the Jedi hoped that as she aged she would grow into the teachings of their Order. This seemed to happen for the most part, though she still held beliefs that sometimes went against their usual moral code. Little things, like not worrying about civilians in mortal danger, thinking it would be okay to execute prisoners on the spot, and not agreeing that the Force is an inherently "good" entity. When it came time she was appointed an older, wise Master who would be patient with her and would know best how to deal with her stubborn attitude.

This Master became the central part of Myrna's life and she latched on to him emotionally. She began to show signs of changing her thought process, though that was all her playing nice to get praise from her Master. When she was 17 and about ready to take the trials to become a Knight herself, Myrna decided that she wanted a more permanent tie to her Master. She wanted him to always be with her, a part of her life. She attempted to seduce him, but he felt that such relations would be highly inappropriate due to their relationship as Master and Apprentice and their great difference in age.

Enraged and hurt beyond anything she'd felt before, Myrna plotted ways to make him love her the way she loved him. Eventually she found a drug that would cause anyone taking it to fall unconscious and lose short term memory for a time after waking. She used it on her Master and was delighted when she became pregnant after the encounter. Her Master then found out about it and was horrified at what she had done. He told her that she had no place with the Jedi, that her mind was too distorted for reason. Confused and hurt once more, this time Myrna left the Jedi altogether. She found her way to Sith space and information led her to a planet called Ziost. She found like minded people there and chose to stay. After giving birth to her daughter, Myrna sent the child back to Tython to her former Master as a reminder of their now permanent bond. She hasn't spoken to or seen either of them since sending the child away.

In Progress

Dancing in the Rain

Going to Hell

Setting Up Shop

The Moff Council E3

Completed

No Cream More Sugar || Successful Sith Mission || It wasn't a hard job. Not much fun, either. Crius, some sith kid just blabbered on about how great a contract with the Brotherhood would be and the stupid barabel believed every word of it. The only interesting thing to come of it was some insight to Warlord Ragnorik's personality. Tough nut, that one.

In Limbo / Uncompleted

Very interesting, I was a bit confused at first but I think I get it now.
She'd get along well with Henry, or...wouldn't? That'd be a weird and doubtlessly fatal relationship.

Haha, yeah she and Henry would def have an interesting relationship. What are your plans for him? Could start something between them if you'd be interested.

Kinda went with the Joker approach to her backstory. Multiple choice? Split personality? Hell, I'm not even sure what her real background is. :D

Sadly, I think Henry's future is gonna take him away from the Sith. While a crossing of paths is still possible, I think it'll have to end up being a spur of the moment thing.
