NAME:
Akasha of the Ihsmel Nightsister Coven
FACTION: Sith & Nightsister
RANK: Sith Priestess / Nightsister Initiate
SPECIES: Dathomiran
AGE:25 years old
GENDER:Female
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes and trained
APPEARANCE:
Akasha is 5ft 6in tall. She has pale-white skin with distinctive facial and body markings and a lithe build. He eyes are silver with gray sclera that seems to glow in the moonlight with long snow white hair that flows freely down her shoulders. Her looks are considered by many man and women to be very exotic and beautiful which the young Dathomiran has used to her advantage on many occasions. The Dathomiran wears the traditional red robes of a Night sister initiate.

It should be noted that constant or extensive use of the force causes the blood vessels in her eyes to rupture which turns her sclera red. This seems to add to her allure which suits her just fine. Also Akasha has purple brand located on her chest that is shaped like a swirling vortex. This brand is a spirit marking of the devouring darkness.

ATTRIBUTES:
Strength: 3/10 Akasha is more trained in the art of the manipulation, the force and Dathomiran magic than strength.

Dexterity: 5/10 While the Sith acolyte can be nimble and quick when she needs to be, she doesn’t have the training or skills to perform any major feats of acrobatics.

Intellect: 8/10 Because she lack in-depth combat training, her greatest power is not the force or Dathomiran magic but her mind.

Charisma: 7/10 Knowing that secrecy and misdirection are the best tool of the dark-side, Akasha skilled in the art of manipulation. She has no problem using honey lanced words and seduction to achieve her goals.

Wisdom: 7/10 Akasha carries with her the wisdom of countless past Nightsisters, whose knowledge and experience have been past down there the generations. It helps her gain a different understanding of dark side.

PERSONALITY:

Akasha is a cunning and manipulating young woman that is completely loyal to the dark side of the force and the Nightsisters. She will do whatever it takes to complete her goal. Whether it’s using seduction or her charms to find the information or using the force to rip it out of there mind. Because of the deaths of her sisters and her relation to those that caused it, Akasha is drive by shame, rage and a thirst for power. Although she is a member of the Sith Brotherhood, she has yet to work with her fellow Sith acolytes. She knows that the Sith are nothing like her coven and may not have the same values of sisterhood, loyalty and the dark-side like she does. Until she is able to complete her mission and returnto her home-world of Dathomir, Akasha knows that her only path to power and the mastery of the Dark-Side and more importantly Sith Sorcery lies with the Sith Brotherhood.

Coming from a matriarchal society, the Sith acolyte sees male only as servants or breeders yet not to the same extent as her fellow Nightsister. Most males she has encountered during her travels have tried to have their way with the witch through either manipulation or force and these males are dealt with appropriately. Yet on more then a few occasions Akasha met males with the potential of being more then servants or breeders and that some of them are worthy of some level of respect.

BIOGRAPHY:

Akasha is the youngest child of Mother Nemene, Shaman and leader of the Ihsmel Coven. She has two older sisters that are powerful witches within the coven. While they are not able to use the force like their mother, they are able to assist Mother Nemene in many Dathomiran rituals. Her father was the leader of the Nightbrothers, a tribal group of Dathomirian Zabrak men subservient to the Nightsisters that lives far from the village. Like many Nightsisters, she was taught the traditions and history of the clan. When it was discovered that she had skills in the force, the young Akasha became an apprentice to her older sister Zarona.

For the next thirteen years Akasha would study dathomiran magic under Zarona tutelage and would grow into a skilled witch of her coven. She would grow closer to her coven and would form a powerful bond of sisterhood with them. It was doing this time that Akasha discovered an affinity for mental magics. She would learn how to twist the minds of the weak to dominate them, show them unimaginative horrors or create images that are not really there. From time to time, Mother Nemene would teach her daughter about the dark-side of the force and how to use their unique magic to tap into it.

By the time Akasha learned the basics of dathomiran magic, she had grown from an unassuming child into a beautiful young adult. It was at this time that she was allowed to take part in the rituals of her coven as an initiate. The young witch would lend her growing power to complex rituals such as the creation of magick infused items. She watched in fascination as her Mother interact with the four sacred spirits of the covens and marveled at the power she possess. Once she completes her upcoming initiation ceremony, she would move one step closer to gaining that power.

On the day of Akasha initiation into the Nightsisters coven, the normally docile Nightbrother leader unleashed a terrible power that devastated the Ihsmel Coven. Through the use of a dark side artifact, her father was able to use a dangerous force ability she would later learn was force drain. Using this power, he with the help of two of his sons were able attack and kill five members of the Nightsisters with the plans of using the energy to fight Mother Nemene. He was nearly kill his own daughter Akasha if not for the interference of the dangerous spirit known as the devouring darkness. The leader of the Nghtbrothers was killed by the full might of Mother Nemene and her two elder daughters

The aftermath of the attack devastated the Ihsmel Coven. Five Nightsisters were dead, their very life force drained from them. Though the leader of the Nightbrother laid dead, his two sons managed to escape the planet. The youngest witch awoke to the healing magic of her fellow Nightsisters, graceful that one of their own has returned to the land of the living. Even with the healing magic of the Nightsisters, the attack left her severely weakened for the next couple of weeks. Akasha also felt what she could only describe as a hollowness within her. The young witch was greatly sadden by the death her “sisters” and being the daughter and biological sister of the men that killed them caused her to feel a mixture of shame and rage. She begged her mother and sisters for a chance to avenge her fallen sisters and to relieve the shame that she feels. Mother Nemene with a sadden heart granted her youngest daughter’s request knowing full well that this trial could kill her. After one last embrace, Akasha was told to seek out the Sith Brotherhood for they will provide her with the tools needed to gain her revenge.

SKILLS:(novice-apprentice-adept-expert-master): Because of her detail knowledge of Dathomiran Shaman Magic, Akasha uses the force in a very unique matter. In order for her to use the force, the witch must use obscure hand gestures and incantations in her native Dathomiran tongue, yet not all force powers require her to the force in such a way. For example, Telekinesis and Force Sense are abilities that she can use without obscure hand gestures and incantations.

-Special note: Shaman Spirit- There was one spirit that was always revered by her clan but is one that doesn’t interact with the clan. This spirit is known by many different names. The common name is the devouring darkness. Legends speak that shamans marked by this spirit learn a dangerous power will devour the life out of people but this power is also dangerous for the shaman to use because it has the potential to devour the users as well. Many witches has tried to harness the powers of the devouring darkness only to lose themselves to the spirit. Only those marked by the devouring darkness can correctly use it abilities and even that doesn’t prevent them from being devoured.-
  • Force Drain – Novice- Force drain was the last ability she “learned” before she was tasked with hunting down three rebellious Night brothers. It was used against her by the former leader of the Night brothers in order to make himself powerful enough to face Mother. Akasha was the only Night sister to survive the attack although she was severely weakened. ( it should also be noted that Akasha doesn't have control over this force ability. It is activated during times of extreme danger)
  • Mind Control/Dominate Mind – Apprentice
  • Force Horror – Novice
  • Force Illusion- Adept – Force Illusion is a force abilities that the Akasha spend many hours learning to use. It is quite useful in helping her escape problematic situations.
  • Telekinesis(all aspects) – Apprentice
  • Force Sense- Novice
  • Sword techniques- Novice – Akasha is only trained in the most basic form of close range combat. She isn’t very good at close range, lacking the skills and talent that would make her a warrior.
  • Force Immolate- Novice (As members of the Inquisition are taught to use fanaticism, fervor and righteous fury to fuel their powers, they are taught to cast a narrow cone of flame from their hands instead of lightning.)
GEAR:

Akasha carries a simple vibro-blade which is sheathed on her left hip. She also wears traditional robes of an Nightsister Initiate.

I think this profile is great. Both the EU and Disney have added things to Star Wars that I don't like. The Night Sisters are not one of those things. I love the lore behind them and I like how you incorporated that lore into Akasha.

While I'm not entirely sure about the site's stance on the power Life Drain I know that you will be very limited when it comes to using it in the least. The power would be difficult to counter in PvP.

I also noticed that you have Akasha listed as an Acolyte. If you wish to begin as an Acolyte that is fine, but given her age and skill set, there is no reason why she could not begin as a Marauder or Inquisitor. If you have not looked into the Inquisition yet I highly recommend it. It seems like the branch of the Sith that Akasha would likely excel in.

While most Sith missions haven't had rank requirements lately, being an Acolyte would bar Akasha from participating in some missions and every Sith save for Deviant's and Kuroshi's characters would outrank Akasha.

If you have not already done so, post in the Sign Up thread of your choosing and an AFL will grant you approval.

The only one I know who used to use Life Drain at all would be Marf, but she never did any PvP and used it mostly as a theatrical skill in her threads.

I think to start Akaska off as an Inquisitor but you are correct. Given her skill set and age it would be a perfect fit for her. I will go ahead and change her from Acolyte to Inquisitor.
Also I am also not sure about this site's stance on drain life. I didn't plan on using this power in pvp. It is a difficult power to counter because there are only two ways to counter it. You would either have the power yourself to counter it or would have to be a wound in the force which would cancel it out. I honestly planned on using it on NPCs. i don't know if i put this in the write up but it is a power that she has no control over at this time. The spirit that she is linked with uses it when her life is in danger.

As far as non-Force sensitive characters go, the rules in place woud make it impossible to use Life Drain on them, since you can't use the Force to directly attack a non-Force sensitive character in PvP to begin with. As far as attacking Force sensitivities go, it likely wouldn't be as powerful or useful as it seems since most people could just say they resisted it's effects. If Sith Akasha used Life Drain on my Jedi Akasha, I'd have her stop everything and completely focus on her defensive barriers, so for Sith Akasha's attack to be effective at all she'd have to devote the equal amount of mental focus towards her attack as Jedi Akasha was devoting to her defensive, resulting in a stalemate where that entire round of PvP would cancel each other out. So I don't see Life Drain being anything other than non-PvP flavor or perhaps a finishing move at the end of PvP, which in itself would be pretty amazing.

Love the character by the way, Nightsisters are amazing.

Ha! that is awesome. We have the same first name. Also your reasoning does make a lot of sense. I should re-read the force section of the site.

We have the official site guide which you have already seen and then Boli's unofficial guide to force powers in PvP.

You accidentally replied to the Sith Order Sign Up instead of the Inquisition, but that is alright since Vinny (The Sith Inquisition FL) is presently dealing with some matters IRL and has been absent lately.
I will tag @Malon and @Ecclessey so that they can give the profile a quick look over and give you the go ahead to jump in some threads.
