Personality
Alaara's life as a slave tried to beat the spunk and defiance from her persona, and it almost worked. She understands Authority, but has no respect for those who abuse it. As a Slave on the run, she has become cautious of what she does and what effects it might have.
As a Nurse, she was always wary of everything that could harm herself, and she was always prepared for the worst in any situation. This translated into her new life as she and Midnight traveled by foot from town to town, doing odd job after odd job.

Biography
Alaara lived a life of suffering up until almost a year ago. The life of a slave is not glamorous, it never really has been. But for her, it was even worse. Her task as a slave was the house Nurse. Which could entail tending to minor cuts and bruises to nursing beaten slaves back to health. Her Original master gave her much freedom in the way she was allowed to work, and how she was to act. Her manners were allowed to be a little looser, though she still had to speak respectively when around others like the Master.
The Master's son though, did not take kindly to the venom in her words whenever he'd approach her. The son, Dri'tel, had gotten fed up with her 'disrespect' and punished her for it, nearly killing her in the process. She was laid up in the Infirmary for weeks, forcing the backup nurse to take over her role. Once the Master heard of what Dri'tel did, he was furious. Alaara was the most experienced nurse in the house and was one of the best, considering she was a slave and all. But as soon as she was healthy enough, she was put back to work.
Only a week later, she welcomed a new slave into the house, and Edemmian who called herself Midnight. The two got off to a fough stard, but they soon became friends. They developed separate relationships with the Daughters of their master, but the two still remained friends despite not seeing each other very much.
Then, years later, their lives changed. Alaara had upset Dri'tel for the last time, and he began to punish her. Luckily, Midnight was there to see it and stopped it, nearly killing Dri'tel. Once They realized what had happened, they made a break for it. Running for their lives and into the woods to hide until they could get off-planet.
