Alarann, known amongst his people as the bladed fist. He was a Fosh, A mandoa armoured cloak around his neck, hiding most of himself as he stood amongst the Fett training ground, it was under his impression hewould be leading the Rapid response teams which would make up about half of the Fett. This pleased him greatly. There were two people at the very least he had to worry about for now, his custom, very 'un'mando like armour beneath him was new, and bought to a shine.

A symbol of the fett on his left side chest and his Bes'kar shield, true mandalorian iron. A rare piece of equipment. He had his arms folded as he waited, his blade at his side, capable of ejecting into a pike, or glaive class weapon with ease and violent force. Alarann was a weapon. He would thus train his men to become weapons.

The area around them was distinct enough, there were rifles, pistols, blades, and practise armour which replicated the mando standard issue stuff. It was all weighted to realism, and balanced aswell. Today was going to be a fun Day. As people entered Alarann's smile faded and he looked up to each of them.

Greetings fellow mandalorians, My name is Alarann, of Clan Fett. You are going to be trained here, and deemed worthy as a member of the Rapid Response and Defence unit. also known as RR&D. AMongt them there was a class of about 50 men and woman.

If there are any questions, ask now, for in a couple of moments, i'll be training you and drilling you in combat. I will warn you, I've trained people before... and people have DIED in my training reigeme, you were all hand picked by me looking over your statistics, so don't disappoint me. If you fail, you will not recieve another chance at entry. If you suceed, then you will be welcomed warmly into the hearts of one of the Mando's greatest fighting assets. Now, ask away...

Alarann stood there with his arms folded. He was small compared to most, in fact all of them. Only 4' in height. But potentially faster than all of them too. He waited for an answer.

Drrel stands in the back, his helm under his arm, cigarette in his mouth, exhaling gently, letting the smoke roll from the tip. He looks at Alarann, intrigued by the challenging proposition of the training. He survived Death Watcher. He survived the massacre of Shogun. He fought in the Mandalorian Civil War. Nothing short of Mandalore the First dropping from the sky and doing the Coruscanti Jig would put even a glimmer of fear in his cold eyes. He had already made a mockery of himself during the "peace negotiations" and saw fit to redeem himself of the single blemish of his name. For now, he saw himself as a man with no clan, no honor, and no pride. This training, this moment, this opportunity, this second of his miserable life would make him a true Mandalorian in both his eyes and in the eyes of his brothers.

"I say we've danced around the issue long enough. I say we start this little square dance and get this underway."

He takes a hard drag off the cigarette, stamping the half-burned butt into the floor. Drrel, not a man known for patience, was ready to begin. For today, in his mind, he would prove himself to be the best...

Atin smiled, finally glad to be back in the swing of things. Until about a week ago he had been on Haruun Kal, where he had been dropped by some mercenaries. The jungle wasn't anything unknown to him, as he;d been raised to not only survive, but to thrive. Of course, the experience hadn't been delightful. No, he was still scrubbing the smell of portaak amber off of his armor. He even spent two days repairing the damage done to his helmet's HUD and his armor's wiring. Luckily, his MA19 had been spared the horrors of the jungle since it had been taken by the same thugs who kidnapped him. Other than the wiring getting eaten and his armor obtaining the smell of portaak amber, the encounter with the Korunnai and their forest was relatively uneventful. He had managed to link up with a tribe and make his way back to Pelek Baw, where he promptly hijacked the same freighter that had brought him to the planet. Ruthless? He didn't think so. Efficient? If Atin was anything but, he was insulted.

And so, the threat of dying didn't phase him in the slightest. He had been threatened with death countless times and knew that death in training was a likely outcome in the Mandalorian culture. Considered harsh by outsiders, Atindral knew little else. He had joined the Mandalorians after being taken in by A'den, his adoptive father. In fact, it would be ten years since his induction into Mandalorian society in only two months. Regardless, Atin wanted to make his adoptive father, as well as the rest of his vode proud.

His helmet hooked onto his belt in Atin's typical fashion, the man took the time to look around. Some wore their helmets while others held them in their arms. Around them sat equipment that would be used, but Atin had missed the memo and had arrived in full gear. He had even equipped the strap to his MA19, which was slung over his right shoulder. In a holster on his left leg sat his WESTAR-34 pistol, a habit he had picked up from A'den.

As one of the other Fetts in attendance voiced his wish to start immediately, Atin smiled. He unclipped his helmet and tilted it in his hands before slipping it over his head. Ensuring that the bodysuit beneath sealed properly with his helmet, Atin rapped twice on his helmet.

"Oya," he shouted, his helmet speakers projecting it and the metallic floor bouncing it off and causing it to magnify slightly. Atin wanted to get started as well, and slid his MA19 around to further show his enthusiasm.

Vin stood in the middle of the crowd, smack dead in the middle both vertically and horizontally. Vin was one of the more recent members to join clan Fett, and he was still enamored with wearing the entire suit of armor so it was not really a shock to anyone who had seen him that his helmet was on. The RR&D seemed to be the his calling. Come in hard. Come in loud. And come in hot. The work sounded exhilarating, hard, and worthy of high praise and respect. It sounded like a job that Vin would not only be interested in but would be good at.

The man issuing the training was short, real short, almost to short to be worthy of being a Mandalorian. Vin said nothing about it, but was interested in finding out just how strong this man that was standing in front of him was. When the group was asked if there were any questions one man in the back asked to hurry the process up and get the training started. I guess you could say he asked, it was more of a demand. His response was then met by a shout from another in the crowd, the word was in Mandalorian, and was unknown to Vin who hadn't learned the language of the group he was now apart of. Vin was ready for the training to begin, but he was not ready to speak out in the large group.

Alarann pointed out several individuals in the crowd as well as the two who spoke out, as well as Vin, calling them forward to the front of the ranks. As well as calling the group into rank and file, or at the very least if they looked lost, spaced out so that he could better see each and every one of them. The training today was orienteering. Though moving on from that, all of the 'can you shoot a still target, can you shout a moving one, do you know basic CQC,' and gauging everyone's skill level could be just as easily tasked into one particular very fun event. A fight, but not your average one. This fight would be to test more than your standard means of combat, but your situational awareness, and their ability to adapt rapidly.

I want each of you to split up into threes, and within those threes each of you are going to be trapped in a four meter in diameter 'ring.' The excersize is simple enough. Knock out the other two, or administer a 'stun' kill to your opponent. Stun blasters and batons for training purposes are allowed here, and located on the rack to the side of the room. Commence your duel at any time, and i will gauge your progress. Should you attempt to look deeper into any other meanings in this. Consider this a talent scout... He said with a smile as people moved to take their stunning weapons and take up positions in the painted circles on the floor.

Alarann did not stand within any of them. To be perfectlyhonest, there was a high chance of him being rather atrocious at this particular exercise. Mostly due to how mobile he was in a fight of anykind, he would quite easily step over the barrier. The reason he allowed them to use the stun pistols, was for them to potentially realise that a firearm in CQC, could be just as much detremental to your victory THAT close to an opponent, as potentially adventageous.

Six people were called out by the Mando leading the training group. To nobody's surprise the two men that yelled out were chosen, but then so was Vin. It was a bit of a shocker to him, the new kid being chosen, but he would make the most of his opportunity and proven his worth. Stepping forward Vin reached the front of the ranks and stood by the other five men that were called forward. Alarann then gave him his task. Beat the two men who called out in a combat with stun baton's and stun blasters. It was a tough task to fight two enemies at once, and it was made even harder since they had limited space to move around and fight.

Steeping to his left Vin began to take his stun weapons as instructed. Vin chose two stun batons, and a single stun blaster that he place in his holster on his right hip. They would be in close and jumping out shooting with a blaster wouldn't help right away so Vin opted for the batons as his starting weapons with the blaster as his back up. After choosing his weapons Vin went to the circle that he would be fighting in. The others would be there shortly, and then the fight that would set Vin on his way to joining the RR&D would begin.

OOC: Since everyone was taking a long time I posted to get this back up and running.

(thank god! but no, you're up against two NPC's now, they can ask me for training in another thread, seeing as they're inactive)

Two Mandos took a stun baton and a blaster from the wall and approached Vin and each other in the small dimension of a circle, no bigger than your average olympic wrestling arena. The two men to either side of him were just as new as he was, if not a little less green. The two who called out as well as the other three were placed in similar rings on their own to prove their worth against unfamiliar opponents. Faceless mandalorians, and new recruits of the Fetts.

Though through Alarann's helmet was emitting a light green particle x-ray light. He was scanning the people in the room for something else. He locked onto each of them in turn and scanned for the medichlorion count... he was looking for force sensitives. He would keep this information to himself of course. But he was always on the lookout. You couldn't hide from that kinda science even with a force skill.

The two stopped either side of Vin and they all looked at each other.

Now, in our trainings, i do not expect to see honor. Respect, however is a must. You will bow to your opponents, before, and after each fight. unless you are unable to bow. A nod will do. Alarann paced back and forth looking over them and judging them. They were a good sum of recruits. Finally he called out

Begin!

The two to either side of the boy moved quickly, number one aiming a blaster at the other, the other knocking it away with one hand as it fired a stray shot. While he span after blocking the shot and taking a swing with a stun baton to Vin's head

Vin did not have to wait long as two other Mandalorian's took a blaster and baton and stepped into the ring with him. When Alarann spoke of not having honor it opened up a new fighting sense for Vin. This battle was one of desperation, and decency was thrown out of the window allowing for cheap shots to achieve victory. He also spoke of respect in combat and so Vin did as he was told and bowed before his two opponents before they would fight. Just after they all had bowed Alarann called out for the groups to begin their duels.

Just as Vin had predicted the blaster did not come in handy for his first opponent as he tried to shoot it at the second and the shot was sent in a random direction when his hand was knocked away by the second opponent. When opponent number two turned and swung at Vin he jumped into action taking the baton in his hand closest to the swing from opponent number two and bringing it up to block the attack and stop it from hitting him. With the stun baton in his opposite hand Vin brought it up in a counter attack aimed at opponent number two's neck in an effort to disable him. Should the attack land Vin would turn to the other opponent sliding his right foot back and placing both the baton's in an x in front of his body preparing for any attack his last opponent should bring.

Opponent number two, having both hands bust found himself with a stunrod in the upper neck, his body convused violently and dropped to the ground without a hitch. The other Mando having had his target eleminated for him span and swang openly at Vin, though the X was a good defece for being able to block any non diagonal attack and although his swin was strong. A one handed swing would not normally break a two handed block. He found his arm cought but continuing his spin unable to turn to face his opponents, from side on with the pistol to his gut he fired so that the weapon could not be knocked off at all.

Though the mando with his arm extended, left his back open for an attack. In the end it seemed that the two others Alarann called up, not the loudmouths had already dispatched their opponents in CqC grappling and melee strikes, not using their stun rods until their opponents were grounded by their own finesce. One grabbed the wrist of an opponent as he struck. Kicked the other to knock him bact before stunning his wristlocked opponents in the upperarm before ducking the victim of the kick, kicking out his legs and then stunning him in the throat. he would be taken to the medical wing. As would Vin's neck victim.

The other fight was finished almost as decisively. The man cought the firs mans wrist and delivered a blow to his eblow disarming him, ducking as his second opponent incapacitated the first with a stun blaster. Throwing the baton, it strck the shooter in the side of the knee, forcing him to crumple into a powerful roundhouse kick the the head which knocked him not only out cold, but out of the ring. Both of them bowed to their opponents in respect. Their matches were already over, and they waited.

Opponent number two dropped to the ground like a bag of rocks after the stun baton sent blots of electricity shooting through his entire body. His final opponent turned and swung his baton directly into the x that Vin had set up to block any attacks. It was then that his opponent tucked in his gun and fired a single shot directly at Vin. The gun was in no position for Vin to knock it away so the only thing he could do was drop to the ground. Falling backwards as soon as his opponent began to bring his gun into his gut Vin landed on his back, tossed both of his batons to either side of him, quickly grabbed the stun blaster from his right holster, and fired off two shots directly at his opponent.

The man in no position to re adgust his aim was pushed slightly by the lowering of his opponent and the lock of his batons, the stun pistol blasts slammed hard into the mans chest with precision and power. He dropped as medical professionals ran to his aid, taking a pulse, he was fine and dragged to the back of the class where he could rest until he regained consciousness. All of the people in the front row Alarann had chose had won thier three way match ups without any issue what-so-ever. A smile could have crossed the birds' beak.

Excellent, the three of you pass my class and basic training. Now, for each of you to know, the Rapid Responce and Deployment or RR&D have one goal, Striking hard from on high. We trap, not advance, hold the line, not penetrate it. We're the first line of assault, and defense. Each of you will be split up into two groups. Tactical heavy weapons, and Melee 'slash' mid-range defense teams... Headed by me So what will you be split into. You there He said starting with Vin.

Where would you like to be put? Heavy or light?

Vin had won his match. The second opponent dropped to the ground after the bolt stuck directly into his chest, he had proved himself. It was then that the leader spoke of classes, heavy or light. Vin had done some studies on the RR & D and believed the Joust class was more suited to him than the Lancer groups so that was his choice. "I believe I am best suited to be a Joust." Simply and directly to the point. That was something Vin always did. Holding the line, and trapping the enemies sounded perfect to him. Trap the enemies in an ambush, and then hold the entrance to our base two critical jobs that only the best can be trusted with. If you fail it could be detrimental to the fight, and the war. Failing dooms your brothers, but succeeding means your a hero. So much to gain, but also so much to lose.

Alarann smiled, Jousts were hard positions to hold, but they were well trained indeed, he saw no other high mediclorian based life forms in the room other than the ones he had dragged in from the ranks of the Fetts. Though he was impressed by his performance, he had no other formal training that he knew of, but he was indeed skilled.

very well, the RR&D will be performing a mission in the next few coming weeks, until then, I will be training the Jousts myself, while one of my assosiates will be training the lancers. You will ALL need to be familiar with our drop pod technology and go through high inertia and stress training. Though that is easily gone through. With that, we have concluded this training session, to each of you, i bid you a warm welcome. You'll be directed to your rooms, granted your lancer, or Joust armour and weapons to train with. your training with me will not be easy, nor formal. You will be trained on the battlefield, as all mandalorians should be........ but it's far more exiting.
He chuckled, and bid his farewells.

(Check the mission writeups, and begin choosing ^.^ i don't believe in training threads.)
