Albion: War Wind

So, this is, if you will, an interest check. Specifically intended towards those of you who are like me big fans of the old 90's DOS rpg game Albion.

In the year 2230, the gigantic, interstellar space ship Toronto emerges from hyperspace at the edge of a distant planetary system.[2] The ship's owners, the multinational DDT corporation, believe that there are rich deposits of raw materials on one of the planets in the system, and the Toronto is to mine the whole planet's resources at once. The player is cast in the role of Tom Driscoll, the pilot of the exploration shuttle sent to verify the status of the planet. His shuttle malfunctions, forcing him to make a crash landing. Tom discovers that the data that described the planet as a desert world was false. Albion is a world teeming with life, secrets, surprises, and magic. It is inhabited by the sentient, tall and slender, feline-like humanoids called Iskai and the many divisions of Celtic humans that traveled magically to the planet in their era. It is up to Driscoll to alert the crew of the Toronto to the true situation to save Albion and its inhabitants.

With some twerking of the canon story, here's what I'm thinking as for a synopsis;

Two months after DDT shuttle pilot Tom Driscoll goes missing on the mysterious alien planet of Albion, a special operations team from the UN Space Command arrives to the DDT owned worldship Toronto. The crack military team has been tasked with deploying to Albion to find and locate and rescue Tom Driscoll, as well as investigate rumors of illicit activities and unethical business practices by DDT on the planet against its natives.

Let me know if you guys are interested. You'll be able to play as a soldier, or as a local native, an Iskai (Cat like alien), or a Celtic human (transported there by magic in the dark ages on Earth). I'm thinking that things will devolve in time into full scale war on Albion between the DDT and the local Iskai and possibly Celtic humans.
