Alexis Sol
Alsakan

Appearance
Innocent and beautiful. Her wide green eyes accentuate her beauty, giving her a youthful loveliness. She wears her deep red hair short now, but once it flowed down her back. She is of average height and slim of figure too. Her features are soft, not striking, and she looks slender and gentle. She tries to make herself look her best, wearing a little make up and nail polish most of the time. She tends to wear a simple white dress, cut off at the knee, but she tends to exchange that for a brown top and skirt when the dress is impractical. She always wears her precious red stone which is tied around her neck on a cord. She also wears a gold band around her right leg and an anklet. She never wears shoes of any sort, and she never has. She feels this keeps her closer to nature and loves to feel plants, grass or even dirt beneath her feet. She carries a short sword, the blade about two feet in length, along with a few knives and occasionally a bow. She does not look old enough to have experienced what she has, and she is not as naïve as she looks. She does not look particularly strong either, drawing her strength from the Force.

Personality

She is a kind person, or at least she was before the Republic ruined her life. She grew up very caring for all life, sentient or not, and preserved her innocence vigilantly. She enjoys the company of others at times, but she is most comfortable on her own in an environment of great plants and animals. She likes to spend hours at a time meditating in her solitude in such places and loves to be at one with nature. She always remains barefoot; to feel the ground she walks on, and as such does not like walking on man made floors. She understands common ideals of modesty, too, and respects them, but she herself does not become embarrassed by such things. She prefers being on a planet than in a space ship, or even inside a building, not liking the metal structures, feeling they are unnatural. She feels and sees the Force strongly and trusts in it implicitly. She tends to have a soft outward character, but she hates the Republic. She is, however, indifferent to the Jedi, respecting their control of the Force. She never takes a life unless it is unavoidable, her love of life is so great, she would even preserve an enemy if she could. In contrast to that, though she takes things very personally, and will not rest until her parents are avenged.

Strengths and Weaknesses
She is very strong in the Force and meditates often to further her studies. She has an amazing love of life and while this is a strength in some respects, it can make her delay in giving the final blow to finish an enemy. She is usually calm and level headed, but when somebody does something affects her personally, she is quick to anger, and loses her scruples of preservation. She constantly strives to help innocents, hating the Republic government for what they have done. She does not hate their soldiers, though, just their leader. Her skill with her short blade is exceptional and her shot with a bow just as good.

History
She was born to famous Alsakan parents and as a child, her path seemed clear cut. Her mother was a Bishop, an advisor of the Vicar, and her father was a high ranking officer in the military. Her father was often absent in her childhood, but her mother often took her with her to meet the members of the Jintu order. She had a simple childhood, never poor or needy, but not spoilt, made to understand the gifts of life and the beauty of nature by her mother. Her mother often, secretly took her with her to the surface of Alsak itself, showing her the lush planet that was their gift. It was there, at the age of only five years old, that she found her own red stone. She made it into a necklace and has worn it ever since. Often, while her mother was working, she would allow Alexis to wander the planet’s surface alone and it was there she began to meditate. At one with nature, calm and happy, she discovered her power in the Force. She could not control it very well though, just about learning telekinesis well, but nothing more.

As she entered her teens, her father arranged for her to be taught in the art of combat. She excelled in using melee weapons and in hand to hand combat, no doubt in part to her sensitivity to the Force. She refused, however, to use a blaster, but did instead choose to learn how to shoot with a bow. She had a knack for this as well, and she silently thanked the Vicar for her Force sensitivity. As she grew into a young woman, as expected of her, thanks to her mother, she was due to be accepted into the Jintu Order. She listened to her mother’s advice often and was very close to her.

But a week before she turned seventeen, tragedy struck. Her mother, as a Bishop, was asked to journey to the Republic and speak to certain politicians. Her father was assigned to accompany her. The ship never arrived. Although their bodies were never found, many of those sensitive to the Force confirmed Alexis’ fears and the pain she had felt in the Force was her parents’. The new Vicar herself, younger even than Alexis, confirmed what had happened and sympathised with her, although Alexis found little comfort in her words and was angry that the Jintu and the Vicar had allowed her parents to be put in such danger. She blamed the Republic leaders, the Chancellor and the Senate, for this. In her pain, she left her futurein the Jintu Order, shocked that they had allowed her mother to be put in such danger.

Thank you. I'm going to rewrite the profile for Cain Ray, though. I don't like the old style as much as this one.

I never thought about that...but every interpretation of ancient mythology is different, depending on when it was written, who by etc. But I did want her to come across like someone who is very into nature...

I have no opinion at the moment. I was more commenting that you got a character in the faction since, no offense, I don't really know who you are.

Well, her history looks like it'll largely need to be re-written, as it's all about her being an Alsakan, and her parents being Alsakans etc. when no Alsakan at this stage has ever been trained to be a Templar. Only Tae at this point have been trained, and they don't have quite the same social structure as the Alsaks.

Also, i'm worried about the number of Force Sensitive characters you have. Five is a bit excessive. I think there was a rule about that, but i'm not sure.

I don't think it's harming anything...and I'll figure something out.
I have 9 chars in all, yes. And so far 7 of them are active. This is still a bit of a WIP and the Senate hasn't really "opened" yet.

I understand that they are all different but why do you need 2 padawans?

Are you not gonna stop until you have two of each?

No, but one is going to leave the order for the dark Jedi, when they come out, and I don't want to start with an all new char then, I want to establish who they are now.

Yes. One will definately leave. Only one will remain in the order "long-term". I'm not sure about the other. They're three very different characters, I'm working them out and seeing how they develope before I make any solid decisions.
