Standing in on top of the white sheets of snow, Rish awaited his newest acolyte
that was rather late. His patience had grown thin as he was forced to stand out
in the frozen wastes. His black robes stood out in the winter scape as stood like
a motionless statue. The only visible feature to give him some what of an identity was his tusks that hung out of his hood which protruded from his face. The cold did not bother him but it was merely the time that had been waisted because of the acolytes inability to show up on time...

Worst of all his acolyte was human. He despised humans and that was mostly
all he ever received to train. Oh how the higher ups loved to torture him so.
But with his acolyte he now had a reason to mistreat him like the rest. Training
would be excruciatingly painful for the human. Rest would be a prize during the
whole scenario and food would be a miracle. Oh how Rish loved training the acolytes...

Sojse exitted the temple and was greeted by a gust of wind, causing him to pull the hood on his cloak up. It was meant for keeping rain out of his face on Naboo, so it didn't protect him from the cold as much as just provide a bit of relief from the wind. He looked around to spot out the figure he had been told to find, outside of the large building that was the Dark Jedi Temple. Spotting a small black blimp on the ominous white landscape, Sojse was sure he had found his destination.

Along his way to the robed figure, he thought about what had happened with the first person he had to call master. After asking his question, the session ended as the first master left the room. He never returned. Was it part of the training here, or just something that spontaneously happened?

He was drawing close to the figure, and it took on a much larger shape now. Large in both height and, from what he could tell, strength. The robes didn't seem to give him as much slack as they gave Sojse.

"Hello! he shouted over the roaring winds, "Are you the one that's supposed to continue my training?"

Rish merely turned his head to his left slightly after he heard his acolyte ask him the question if he was his master. The stupidity of acolytes was senseless at times. In fact it made his blood boil. Rish then beckoned the Force into his right hand, creating a purple glow along with a spectrum of crimson in the middle of the glow. He then spun around threw his open hand towards Sojse and released the energy! It shoot through the air like a snake headed towards Sojse! Rish showed no sign on any emotion as his attack made its way to the target. In his mind he thought if the acolyte would be caught by the attack and have the very Force essence drained from him...

Rish enjoyed using the technique outside of combat mostly as it created adverse effects on those he victimized. It left them weak and drained of all energy within their body. The only problem with such a power caused those used it to gain something of a hunger for more energy. Thankfully Rish used it sparingly so that he would develop the hunger and be consumed by it.

As the purple glow wormed its way towards Sojse, his eyes locked onto it, trying to find where it would stop. As it neared, the realization began to make itself clear. Upon the head of the snake biting down upon the dead center of Sojse's chest, he leaned forward, both hands grabbing for different ends of the bite but not making contact as his legs bent. His head dropped to see the carnage, the glow illuminating his face, and the smile that he had come to associate with every bit of pain he endured.

As the snake burrowed its way through his body, he tried to think of what it was doing. Devouring everything in sight? Just passing by? He wasn't entirely sure until the glow ceased, causing him to drop to his knees and hold his chest up with his arms. The snow coming into contact with his hands didn't seem to be too much of a problem for now, it was fairly cold, but not as cold as it would get with continued exposure.

Panting now, from the lack of energy, "My last master never told me what allowed him to push me without touching me... Is that from the same power?"

Rish stepped over to his acolyte who now laid winded on the cold surface of Ando. He circled his acolyte like a prey before being devoured by the hunter. His acolyte took the blow and was completely drained of energy. All the while Rish felt rejuvenated as he continued to circle his acolyte...

"Your master used the basics of the Force against you. I heard about your last master also. Pathetic excuse for a Bogan if you ask me. Whatever he taught you means absolutely nothing to me..."

Rish then turnd away from his acolyte and began on the short walk back to the temple. Introductions were over. Rish had established his rule over the acolyte. And his reign of terror over him would continue through out the journey of Sojse's progression from acolyte to Crusader...

Sojse continued to pant, facing the whiteness before him. The only thing that kept him from thinking it was the light at the end of the tunnel he had seen many times before was the small cracks from the holes his hands made. Judging by the sound of snow cracking, he could hear his latest master walking in circles before speaking. The first words from his new leader only brought one thing to mind, the Force.

As the crunching got quieter, Sojse could tell the steps were leaving him. With a bit of exertion, he stood back up and wobbled a bit, still worn out from the viper. He spotted the footprints in the snow, leading away, and traced them back up to his master. Rushing towards the robed figure, Sojse tripped over his own leg, still exhausted. Laying face-first in the snow, Sojse was faced with the decision to rest or rush back after his master. Not wanting to anger his master anymore, he pushed himself back up, and this time followed after at a leisurely pace. Running would most likely result in tripping again, and that would waste more time than just walking there.

The journey was short but long for Sojse it seemed. He was still exhausted from
being drained of his Force energy but he was making himself keep up which was admirable in its own way. Because at least he did not want to take another blow from the serpent which might kill him. But he had experienced the power first hand which now opened the door to him learning it as well. Rish made something of a habit of passing it on through his acolytes to keep the technique alive even though others used it as well...

They approached the main gates of the temple which were dug into the side of a great mountain that mimicked the many others. This was a key strategy in hiding the Bogan's lair on Ando Prime. As they approached the gate it opened from the inside as two guards opened it. These men looked strange compared to the rest of the Bogan. They stood taller than the rest and were hunched over. Their arms were long while their finger nails were extreme long in length. Their robes were tattered and covered their body and revealed nothing about their identity. The hoods did the same to their face. Nothing was seen only a pitch black darkness underneath them. Their cryptic guards merely stood by the gates open doors and watched them as they entered. Never making the slightest sound. Almost as if they weren't even breathing. There were myths that they were past masters that the Bogan had punished for treason and other things. They were now far from the guards and the closing of the gates could be heard all through out the Temple.

Rish then turned to his acolyte and examined him from head to toe. He was rather tall for a human and dumb. But the last part was Rish's opinions of every human...

"What is it that you wish to learn more of? The Force or using a lightsaber? I will teach you both in time but whatever you choose now we will focus more on during the training. And be careful for I will also make that side of training that much more difficult and painful..."

Said Rish as he folded his arms...

The large guards were something Sojse would need to get used to, but he was in no way intimidated by them. Merely intrigued. He had considered trying to converse with them before, but now wasn't the time. As his master turned around, Sojse stopped his gazing and straightened up, a habit taught to him by his uncle. Listening to the question, an unfamiliar term popped into Sojse's mind, a lightsaber. The rest of his master's voice was tuned out as Sojse tried to imagine what it was, and what he managed to come up with was a long beam of green light.

It didn't sound too easy to use, so as soon as his decision came to mind he let it out, right as his master had finished speaking, "The Force." After a moment of thinking, he was about to say master, but that was something taught to him by his last one. And he was told that didn't matter anymore.

Rish then motioned for his acolyte to follow as they progressed down the dark and dreary stone hallways of the Bogan Temple. Screams for acolytes in training created an atmosphere of terror and pain as they progressed deeper. They now entered through a small gate that lead into a small room with a matt on the center of the floor. On the side were weights and other objects such as swords and spears. Then at the back of the room laid a ancient chest with strange markings of the Bogan...

"In that chest you find the means to represent the Bogan. Open it."

Rish then stood back with arms still crossed with his head held high...

Sojse followed the tall figure through the hallway. At first sound of the screams, Sojse turned his head to see where exactly they were coming from. Though, after a a minute or two, he tuned them out and faced back forward with little distraction. As they passed through the gate, a strange sense of comfort came over him, but quickly vanished once he saw the inside of the room.

As his master spoke, Sojse took his attention away from the weapons and exercise equipment and placed it on the chest. With no option other then to do as his master said, he walked across the room, his eyes jumping back and forth. Once he reached the chest, he folded his knees and scrunched down to grabbed hold of the front of the chest before lifting it up. Inside was a set of black robes, which didn't seem to have much significance beyond their color. Turning back towards his master, he took note of the similarity of the two sets. Grabbing the robe out and holding it up, his notice was confirmed.

"Wearing black clothes represents the Bogan?"

Rish placed his hand over his face for a moment and sighed at the human's stupidity. He thought about igniting his lightsaber right there and cutting his acolyte down and leaving him there to rot. But he stayed his anger for now. But there would be a time to let it out...

"Another comment like that will earn nothing but pain. Now put them back before you get some human saliva on it or something."

He then walked over to the right of the room and picked up a blade and held it in his hand for a moment, gently balancing the flat side on his hand.

"Supposing you know how to use the Force you command the Force to levitate it in front of you. Also considering you know how to assume a meditative stance, I would begin immediately before I loose my patience."

Rish then tossed the blade to Sojse...

Sojse quickly nodded and put the robes back into chest, not wanting to anger his master anymore. Just to be sure, he rubbed his hand against his mouth while his back was to his master, to make sure it was just exaggeration about the saliva. As he spun around, he spotted the sword soaring towards him, and on instinct rose his hand up and caught it by the handle. Taking in what his master said, Sojse realized the purpose of the sword and sat down on his knees, placing the sword before him.

Taking a deep breath and fixing his posture, Sojse closed his eyes and began to focus, awaiting a signal from his master. He wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to levitate the sword, so he remained silent and just focused.

"What are you waiting for? Use the Force! Pick up the sword you belligerent idiot!"

Rish was becoming impatient. His acolyte must not know how to use the Force. This was the only reason he could think of. If that was so, Rish would kill his acolyte. Rish had no tolerance for a human. Especially one with such lack of knowledge! He gripped his fists and prepared to launch another attack with the Force and drain him of his energy and finish him off...

There was no use in such weak individuals. Rish did not even care if his last master did not teach him how to use the Force. He despised humans and this might be the determining factor in Sojse's death...

If this were a Jewish wedding, the glass would have just been stomped on. A mental crack ticked in on Sojse at the sound of the insult, something that snapped him out of the smile that had protected him through all else. It was no longer just staying alive to endure more pain, it was now about staying alive to inflict it. Anger that had been built up for years now began to flow through Sojse, his heart rate picking up drastically at all of the sudden aggression.

Without any explanation on how to do it, Sojse's goal was to do to the sword as the dark figure had done to the Republic soldier. Following from that alone, Sojse re-opened his eyes and held his right hand out, cupped in a ball around the handle of the sword, if his hand was on it. It was close, but not touching. Focusing all of his anger into his hand, he had mimicked the figure exactly. The sword didn't float, but the handle bent at a ninety degree angle.

The room was silent. Rish stared at the blade his acolyte had bent in his fearful beckoning of the Force. The stupidity. The insolence. The failure. Rish had no desire to train his acolyte anymore. He only thought about killing him where sat. The energy left inside his acolyte was too much to let go. And he was not going to keep around some damn human who could not control the Force!

A dark purple glow illuminated from inside his closed fists and begun to erupt with arcs of energy erupting from it. He then shoved his fists out towards Sojse and opened them causing the the dark purple arc of energy leach out towards Sojse! He had no chance. The room was too small to run away from it. Rish guarded the entrance. And Sojse bent his only weapon...

Sojse brought his attention upwards at the silence in the room. He caught sight of the purple glow and knew too well what it was. It would weave its way towards him, and most likely be the end of him. Had he been in his former mentality, he surely would have done little to stop it, but not now. Now it was about survival at any cost. Even if for a brief second more. Still, he knew of no way to stop the serpent, and grabbing the sword didn't seem too good an option.

Deciding to leave his fate to this unseen Force, Sojse closed his eyes and allowed instinct to take over. He may have not been aware of it, but his body most certainly knew of its capabilities. And one of those was being projected straight at it. Sojse's arms both rose quickly, and the flicker of a purple glow appeared inside. As his arms shot forward, a similar serpent to the one coming towards him grew and shot out in the direction of Rish. It was much thinner than the oncoming one, but it was the best Sojse's mind could muster on such short notice.

Struck by his own offensive technique! Rish was struck by the serpent and was brought down onto his right knee as it sucked the Force energy with him! He grunted in pain as it took what was rightfully his own. As the serpent faded and took what it desired, Rish stood back up and panted from the lack of energy...

"Clever...But no one takes from me. That you are wrong, wretched human. And I doubt you have enough energy to strike again even with what you took from me..."

Rish closed in quickly as he gained back his strength. Sojse's offense was not enough. The attack was too weak. Rish had fostered the ability while Sojse had a moment of pure instinct. He then grabbed his lightsaber in his fit of rage and ignited the crimson blade as he stood over him. He held the saber high with the blade pointed downwards as Rish held it by the hilt. Rish then plunged it down toward's Sojse with pure hate and anger...

The feeling of rejuvenation was a godsend after Sojse's former exhaustion. With the moment he had while the other in the room spoke, Sojse snapped back to thinking and looked down at his hands, a look of surprise on his face. When he brought his gaze back up, however, the looming figure was above him, at the moment unarmed. In the split second between the lightsaber leaving the figure's belt and popping into it's hand, the alien face was replaced by one much more familiar: The face of his abusive uncle. It wasn't a beam of red light about to kill him now, it was the butt end of his uncle's shovel.

Again returning to the fight or flight reflex, Sojse quickly grabbed the sword between the two by the blade with his right hand and snapped the bent hilt upwards with a quick jerk of his wrist while leaning back a bit. A smash to his knees seemed much more appealing than one to the head, and if he was lucky enough, the handle would hit his uncle's arm and send the pole off it's course entirely.

((OOC: If you're confused, he's envisioned you as his uncle and his putting himself back on Naboo, sorta like a Viet Vet at a fireworks show.))

Rish laughed inside the confines of his mind as his lightsaber cut through the sword Sojse had so desperately defended with. If the blade had been forged with Phrik it could of caused the saber to go off course. But this was not the case. Rish's saber cut straight through the blade...

And the course of the blade was unchanged...

(Sorry good sir. Phrik is the only materiral in this time line that could made with a blade so it could defend against lightsabers. But Phrik is rare as it is.)

((OOC: Seen it coming.))

The blade split into two pieces against the wooden pole, causing Sojse to startle backwards even further than he was leaning. Falling back, Sojse's shin ran head-on to the wooden pole, and at contact, it went straight through! Sojse was brought back to the real world and brought with him a scream of agony, like all the others he heard on his way to the room. This was what it was to be part of the Bogan. Not wearing black clothes or inflicting pain onto those weaker than you. It was the suffering that everyone went through every day and letting it out. A lesson that cost him the lower half of his leg, as even if they could keep it from falling off, there was no more bone and little muscle left inside.
