Ambria Nova
Ambria Nova was a large ship that was converted into a research station located in the Outer Rim under the control of the Old Empire. This station used to function as part of the Imperial Republica, but once the civil war began, its location meant that it belonged to the Old Empire. All those on board who were still loyal the the Imperial Republica were executed and the research resumed.

▵Description
WHile the Sith were permitted to do almost whatever they wanted during their reign over the galaxy, some members of the Imperial Republica chose to keep their research secret. One such Sith who was dedicated to discovering and researching flora and fauna that resonated with the Dark Side of the Force was able to sway enough people to his cause that he could afford to take his own personal capital ship and conver tit into a fully functional space station. This station's purpose was to research anything that the Sith or his acolytes came across that was living and that had a strong connection to the Force. Thus, naming the station after the world where he began his research, the Ambria Nova was born.
The station was build in the far reaches of the Outer Rim, away from the prying eyes of his fellow Sith. Unfortunately, for the duration of its existence, Ambria Nova did not have any major breakthroughs that caused the Sith who created it to rise throughout the ranks of the Sith hierarchy to a greater position of power. But even so, any information that he could glean, the sith put to the test whenever he could. This practice continued until the division of the Imperial Republica and the Old Empire. The Sith's ideals fell with that of the Republica, but his station was in Old Empire space. It did not take long for one of his scientists to rat him out to the Sith on Korriban, and shortly thereafter, he was killed.
His research, on the other hand, did not die with him. The scientists that were loyal to their new Emperor continued to perform research, holding onto it until it was collected by Sith from Korriban infrequently. They were just beginning to make some breakthroughs with certain species of plants and animals that could be influenced by the Dark Side, when the station seemed to go dark unexpectedly. With nobody to call and inform the leaders of Korriban, nobody came to check ont he station for some time. Its current status is unknown.
▵Intent
To provide a space station used by the Sith for highly restricted research. This station is intended to be used for plot I am to be involved in and can provide a jumping off point for others as well, should they need a similar station. The "station" is a reskinned MULTEX-CLASS PLATFORM in so far as its capacities. The station can no longer funtion as an actual ship as it has been completely retrofitted to be a station locked in space.
