PERSONALITY: Andrea Pal'durath, having been born the second daughter of Queen-Mother Tini'duran V was tought to be respectful and honest with the people that her family ruled over in the Hapes Cluster. With her becoming the Queen-Mother after the unfortunate deaths of her older sister and mother she has come quick to judge those that may no always agree with her. She is intelligent for her age having to take on the responsibility of leading the Hapes Consortium.
BIOGRAPHY: Andrea Pal'durath was the second daughter of Queen-Mother Tini'duran V and Lord Alexander, born on Hapes in 988 ABY. There was little hope that Princess Andrea would succeed to the throne, but was given a proper education nonetheless. A child possessed of rare beauty, she obtained the affections and admiration of her people at an early age. Upon reaching the age of sixteen, it was discovered that her elder sister, Princess Elena, had contracted a deadly virus and would not live long. She succumbed to the illness a fortnight later, and three days later, their mother died of grief and Andrea mounted the throne as Queen-Mother Pal'durath I. Her father, assumed the reins of government as Regent, until Andrea came of age.
Upon coming of age, the Regent handed over the power to the young Queen Mother, who immediately showed herself capable of ruling. Rumors of embezzlement and administrative neglect had been brought to her ears and she proceeded to remove all the corrupt and inefficient officials from their posts and replaced them with those who showed great talent and promise. She has recently begun immense reforms to reorganize and modernize the largely neglected military. Her reforms included the reorganization of the Navy into twenty-two fleets, each commanded by an Admiral, and the institution of the Hapan Royal Marine Corps. To modernize the military, she has introduced the HB-5 Assault Rifle as a replacement to the outdated HB-4 model, and the Tractia Heavy Cruiser.
