Any bearing on territory?

If I am running a sith mission on a planet that inside of the territories map is neutral (not colored in), and as far as I can tell doesn't have any other threads disputing territory, will setting up a base there / establishing ruling on the planet with my character shade it in for the sith on the map??

You can do your own missions on behalf of the sith but they need to be cleared by the leadership of the sith first. on the other hand if your character wants personal property on that territory then he can go to that location and through rp get it. if it is the sort of thing that is expected to have opposition then you need to include who you are opposing.

To "expand" faction territory to a neutral planet the faction must complete 8 ASKs or 4 opens. The faction's story planet influence then expands to the target area.

Looks like I'm going to start a mini trilogy and try and take that planet. Lol.
