ANYONE WANNA HELP ME CREATE A NEW SPECIES?

Basically looking to create a new species, already have some of it thought out, just need help putting it to paper and ideas for the rest of its creation...

What are some of your ideas? People would probably be more willing to help if you laid out what you where thinking.

So pretty much I was looking to create a wolf like species similar to Edemmians, but more aggressive and hunter like, with very keen senses and much larger body type. I would name the species Xethiri. Essentially you could say a werewolf with 9 tails. They're society would be very tribal and spiritualistic. Although they don't necessarily favor the sith, they don't necessarily view them as bad either. They are a very instinctual species.
Very well known for their prowess in things such as bounty hunting, tracking targets, hunting, and mercenaries. Very adept at guerilla warfare, survival tactics, tracking/hunting,and stealth tactics. Among the best in the galaxy.
They have heightened sense of smell, hearing, and speed since they can run either on two legs or on four.
Some of their preferred tools are daggers, energy whips, and energy bows- one of few races to use these exotic weapons.
They generally don't tend to kill a beast unless absolutely necessary, whether for food or to protect themselves. Sentientbeings are another story. They nurture the land they live in as they are very nature oriented. "Take only what you need from the land" type of mentality. They try to keep technology to a minimum. Their decisions as a civilization are made by a council of chief elders that represent only the strongest tribe. For the most part they are apprehensive of outsiders. A lot of their species are kidnapped by smugglers, criminals, and pirates for illegal fighting rings. Takes a lot too earn their trust.
A blood pact with one is viewed as the ultimate pact sacred, with the one breaking the pact being hunted down and killed.

The one thing I've learned from spending a month creating a species that I thought was original is that you're probably going to run into originality issues. We've got like, at least a few wolf-based species in Star Wars, and I'm sure at least one of them have a Native-American esque tradition to draw on. You have to make it stunningly unique and fleshed out, and even then approval 'mins will probably ask for more.

Just warning you ahead of time before you get neck deep in it, you've got to really want to get Xethiri approved.

Shistavanen is the only one I know of. What others are there?

Currently my character is a mix between a Shistavanen and a Edemmian.

Codru-ji juveniles are 6 legged wolves I think. I'm sure there are other obscure ones, but searching for species by biology in wookiepedia is a nightmare.
