Port Haven, 2700 Local Time

@prairiedog @Sammothy @Lucy Grey
Port Haven sat on the edges of what could even remotely be considered civilized space; it laid near-dormant on a planet without even a proper name. The drifters along the rim knew it as a holdover for expeditions out into the Unknown Region. But, not a long stopover. The old port had lost it's shine over the years, the original owners eventually leaving for brighter pastures and allowing the city to fall into ruin. Over time, gangsters, pirates, and raiders had taken up places across the city, and the entire port became engaged in a perpetual state of all-out gang warfare. Control over the docking berths and control towers fluctuated daily, making any long-term involvement there extremely risky.

Luckily for the Accord, they didn't plan on staying long.

Deep under the core of the city, a massive generator fed power to the heart of the city; the Shield Generator. over time, it had become dilapidated and faulty, but it worked well enough to protect them, and with some work, could protect the Void all the same. And that was the mission: Infiltrate the gang territory in the Core, call in an orbital strike to destroy the access hatch above it, and extract the Shield Generator.

Down in the berths, 100s of meters from the Core, the Accord Transport deployed it's contingent of soldiers, each dressed in casual clothes covering their weapons and armor.

ELEG-4Ntt sat uncomfortably on his chair, he was well aware of his mission. Get Shield Generator, That thought kept going throughout his metal head. Elegant decided to pull out his revolver and keep reloading it, taking out the 6 lead bullets and filling it up again. Elegant pushed the cylinder back into the full revolver, he then turned to his fellow member and said "Hel-lo, nice to finally meet youu..." His final letter seemed to keep carry on, this was another problem. He kept reminding himself to get that fixed. As he waited for a reply, he pulled out a small handheld radio type thing and he tuned into a small radio station, called 'Ragnarok' which was funny, it seemed that the ship was nearly there.

(The song that started to play)

He turned it up a little, just before the big moment happened and he sure as hell hated warfare. Elegant has had his fair share of crime, shooting and wars. But this was all three rolled in one steaming pile of sh*t. Elegant turned his radio down and then turned back to his fellow comrade.

Lucy smiled, she was excited for the mission, she sat next to the robot, waving happily and shifting the cigar in her mouth, "Ella!" . She didn't take much note of him until he started playing music, of which she found extremely appealing, She giggled and swayed along, it was funny, interesting, and happy tuned, something she needed on this trip, she twirled her own revolver, She started singing along softly, clearly put in a happy mood by this robot. Although they approached the generator . "Shh...might want'a turn 'tha' down fer now" Lucy took in a deep breath,

ELEG-4Ntt looked at the woman who was happily singing along and turned it down, he placed it in his stomach chest and it carried on playing. Whom only Elegant could hear. The god forsaken planet was now in Elegant's field of view. He had to admit, it looked pretty darn cool from the outside, what laid within would surely change his mind.

The ship eventually reached its destination and it lowered down to ground level. Elegant stayed seated until he was told to exit the ship, it is a very weird habit of his.

Standing beneath the awning in front of the Gizka's primary compound, Zellik pored over a faded letter that had been folded, unfolded, and folded again a hundred times over. A half-smoked cigarra dangled from his lips; he puffed on it every now and again, sweet smoke cascading out across the courtyard, but his heart wasn't in it.

"Still readin' that bloody love note, Zel?"

Zellik glanced up, gritting his teeth as Rorie, a loud-mouthed chiss, wandered towards him.

"'til the day I die," Zellik muttered, carefully folding the note and slipping it into his coat pocket. He picked up his blaster rifle, hoping to at least convey the impression of hard work - but his heart wasn't really in that, either.

"Who burn't you so bad, brother?"

"I ain't your brother," Zellik growled, "and it ain't none of your business."

Rorie raised his hands. "I surrender," he said, "no need to come out guns blazin', 'eh? Just tryin' to be friendly, mate."

"Nosy, more like," Zellik argued.

"Whatever. Listen, Broff sent me up to watch the front door with ya', said he's got a bad feelin' about tonight. 'course, he's got a bad feelin' about every night, so I wouldn't fret over it too much."

"Sure, yeah," Zellik groaned, "we need five hands out here. Forget it, I'm wastin' my time - just prop up and leave me alone, will ya'?"

Rorie shrugged, seating himself on the durasteel steps leading into the compound and laying his blaster rifle across his lap.

Zellik and Rorie were planted directly in front of the compound; alongside them, three other armed guards patrolled the courtyard in front of the building. Mostly, though, they weren't aggressively vigilant; they chattered amongst themselves, smoked, and drank, whenever they were far enough from the front door's camera to avoid being busted.

Idiots.

Of course, it wasn't the first time he'd worked with idiots. And whatever gods there were knew it wouldn't be the last. So he simply sat there in the transport vehicle, sucking on a death stick and wondering how many deaths he'd actually get to witness tonight. The others chatted among themselves, filling the small shuttle with noise. He didn't pay any attention to it. It was just noise, after all. Just like blood was just a fluid, and jail was just a room. He chuckled quietly at himself.

This was his first mission with the Accord, a self-styled organization of anti-criminal soldiers and scientists. Rather ironic he was working with them, but then again, he'd served at the sides of saints and smugglers alike. It was the pay that brought him, and the pay that kept him: hopefully that would be the case today as well.

Vex Concorde, or Xen Corde---as he was known to his comrades in the Accord---began his pre-mission checklist. He patted all the various weapons on his person, all of which were hid under his large black trench coat. For this mission, he carried his vibroblades as he did for everything except baths: Wolf and Lamb, his katana and knife, the sword on his back with a down-facing sheath, the knife on his thigh.

Corde's hands were wrapped in black fingerless armor weave gloves (which would succeed at blocking a single blaster bolt at most), and his left glove had a Vigilance Gauntlet, just in case. He felt naked without his armor, but still wore a vest and pants that would protect him from a few stray bolts. He had, as usual, a Sunspear heavy blaster pistol on each hip, and a Gutripper carbine in the small of his back. Corde lacked his usual R-8R rifle, deeming the city too close-quarters for such a weapon.

The bounty hunter checked that his fellow soldiers were ready, then stepped off the transport and onto the grimy ground of Port Haven.

ELEG-4Ntt stepped off the shuttle beside Vex. Elegant did not like him that much, he was always rude. Still he was on mission work so he couldn't be picky with his team. Elegant finally strutted down the ramp and had his first look at the place. He didn't know if it were pretty or disgusting. The first thing he noticed was that this, 'Port Haven', was teeming with people of all kinds. Humans and etc. It was also very spacious, that was what Elegant did not like. It just felt off.

ELEG-4Ntt decided to check his revolver again to just make sure he had a full clip. He was missing one bullet, thankfully he decided to check it. Elegant pulled out a single steel bullet and gently placed it in one of the six notches, he spun the cylinder around and then proceeded to place it in its holster. Elegant found a nice place to sit down and have a small rest, he looked at Lucy and smiled. He approved much more of Lucy than Vex, she was much more jolly. And her accent made Elegant happy inside.

Elegant took one last breather and slowly rose to his feet. He passed Vex and couldn't help noticing his vast array of equipment. Upon seeing this, Elegant decided to get some more stuff. Like a knife or some grenades. As Elegant re-entered the ship, he walked over to his seat and pulled out a chest from beneath it. He popped it open and a knife and two grenades would be sitting in the box (( The knife )), Elegant slowly picked the knife up by its handle and he placed it in a small knife holster on the left side of his waist, the two grenades were just standard blowing-up-things grenades. He opened up his stomach chest and he placed the two grenades in it. He smiled and jogged back towards the others.

They were lucky to have not attracted any undue attention on their route to the gang's compound. Of course, in a crime-ridden, filthy place like this, seeing what essentially amounted to a small contingent of armed and organized individuals was not necessarily unusual. Nonetheless, Xen was thankful that they hadn't met any resistance as of yet: it would've made the entire mission much more messy. He liked messy, but not when there was a job to be done.

Corde readjusted the comlink that nestled in his ear. He'd gone over the plan with them in the transport hours before, but there was a small kink in the plan they'd established. The amount of civilians in the area--a small courtyard nestled in front of the entrance to the gang's compound--was more than they'd bargained for, so a different route had to be taken. It wasn't that Corde was against collateral damage, it's just that his most recent employer didn't take too kindly to innocent civilian casualties.

He activated his comlink and began transmitting to each of his teammates.
"Plan's a bit different. Instead of taking all of the guards out quietly, we're going to have to take the five or so out that are in front of the entrance first. Then we'll post guards of our own: Jax, Killek, and Carl will watch our backs while I, the robot, the girl, and the rest of you follow me inside and secure the building. We'll eliminate any hostiles, call in the orbital strike, then pull the generator out. Copy?"

((OOC : Sorry for the long wait people ;-; P.S I am currently sick. So don't blame me if its short/bad. ))

"Copyeee..." Elegant said, showing them that his thumb was indeed up. He pulled out his revolver and checked its magazine, full. He dawdled quietly as possible, which wasn't exactly very quiet, over to a barrel and ducked behind it. Slowly standing up he placed his right arm, that was holding the revolver, on top of the barrel. Slowly breathing, he aimed down the sights and looked at the lone guard that was having a smoke. Perfect opportunity, he said under his breath. Elegant took his time waiting for a noise to cover the shot. After about 30 secs, someone dropped what seemed to be an antique vase. Finally, he took the shot. The man collapsed. Elegant raised his left arm up and clenched his hand into a fist. Then rapidly pulling it down, to signify COMPLETED.

ELEG-4Ntt slowly crawled back over to Vex and co. and said
"Won't be lo-ong 'til they find the bodyeee." He returned his attention to Vex, whom he assumed was in command. Elegant reached into her pocket and pulled out a key, he placed it in his stomach (Where the keyhole to his chest was) and turned it. The chest opened up slowly. He placed a crooked smile upon his face and put his key back into Vex' pocket. "Mis-Dirrrection..." Elegant said gleefully.
