Astria's airspeeder slipped through the skyways of Mondder, blending in with the local traffic quite easily in the more affluent part of town she was heading for. Recently, Astria had started making some moves to expand her wealth and influence, but she felt a little constrained. It seemed like a fool's errand to steal or fight the other Syndicates at the moment, so potential targets were slim. Pirates, mostly, but she needed more than that.
Her attention was drawn to the galactic bounty board, more specifically one set on a Czerka executive. Czerka was open game to fuck with as far as she was concerned. Much safer than the alternative.
Unfortunately, the job wasn't something she could complete on her own and Astria needed to hire outside help. Through the holonet she'd been in contact with a mercenary named Mars who's skills aligned perfectly with what the bounty needed. The Czerka woman was holed up in her smart mansion and word was it had decent droid security. Astria wasn't a novice slicer, but she needed someone with more technical skill than she had. That's where Mars came in.
Arriving at the rendezvous point - a cantina which was a couple blocks over from the Czerka woman's house - Astria remained outside, leaning against a light pole. Reaching into her jacket, she took out a cigarette and lit it. The night air was crisp but tolerable. Letting out a sigh, Astria took a long drag from her smoke while she waited for Mars to arrive.
