Ask Nar Shaddaa Arena acquisition: Jumping into the shark tank

It had all come to this, the Karkarodon's reputation as the champion and master of the arena had been ruined in a matter of hours, the man that was supposed to be fighting for the amusement of the spectators had been taken out of the picture and so was the money that many fans had put on him, the crowd seemed more and more furious by the minute and the security couldn't really do much about it now that they were also left in shambles, most of them sent to the nearby warehouse, which was most likely nothing but a pile of rubble by now, just to die at the hands at two of his agents, now all they had to do is take the leader down, without a head, the body would die and the arena would be theirs.

Gareth looked at Rex from the opposite side of the arena, comfortable on the VIP seat that he had taken thanks to another two members of the family, the Karkarodon, who seemed furious, was scolding a bunch of his boys as the announcer tried to calm down the enraged public, the Miralukan couldn't help but let out a smirk as he tilted his head towards his partner for this final mission "If he doesn't give them a proper spectacle that shark bastard will surely die, everything has gone exactly as planned, look at him, he is so furious!" Gareth let out a soft laugh as he put on his Matukai gloves "Well then, let's help him out by creating an opportunity to entertain these people for him, you ready?" once the Wookiee was ready, Gareth stood up, crackled his crackled and neck and then jumped into the arena, the crowd going silent as they were about to witness something truly special.

[Konn]

Konn

Konn was in the arena. He had already killed the Karkarodon’s champion in a bar further in the city. Easy peasy with the help of the Kaleesh. Now, he was getting ready to aid Gareth kill the Karkarodon. Looking down at Gareth he nodded. Konn was already ready to fight. His accomplice leapt into the ring. Konn cracked his knuckles as he walked down to the ring slowly and got in.

“I’m ready to rip out some throats.”

Konn said gruffly. In a fight the giant Wookiee could be incredibly vicious and savage owing to his short temper. He’d often get into a battle rage and would sometimes even use his claws. Not bothering him now as he had already broken the Wookiee honour code before. Konn beat his chest and let out a ferocious roar, some of the viewers closer to the ring covered their ears and jumped back in slight fear. The announcer’s jaw was agape at the size of the muscular Miralukan and Wookiee. Both were incredibly muscular and both were agitated to fight. Or at least Konn was. He looked forward to killing more people.

“Well...it looks uh...it looks like two beings have took to the ring.”

The announcer said as Gareth and Konn stood there. Konn waited for Gareth to say something. Konn would say something but practically no one in the room would be able to understand the Wookiee, save for Gareth and a few of the crowd.

[Gareth Gin]

Gareth let out a smile as he looked at the Karkarodon sitting on his throne, a throne that would be his soon enough, however, the Miralukan had to choose his words carefully, he had to convince the shark man to fight him and Konn, which meant he had to be dramatic, put on a good show that Rex would want to keep going, an arena match had to be fun for the crowd first and foremost, Gareth would make sure that was the case.

"My name is Gareth Gin, the white lion of the Zaa Fenn family, and my friend over here is Konn of the Zaa Fenn family, would give him a nickname, but he is the type of guy who really prefers action over words..." Gareth said, his voice loud enough for anyone in the arena to hear, using the force to make it as loud and threatening as he could "We've come here, to this arena for you, Rex Viltra, you've brought shame to this sport with the lack of blood staining the arena today and the lack of care you have for your spectators, your patrons! you are a disgrace of a champion who doesn't deserve his place!"

If blood could rush to a Karkarodon's face from anger, Rex's face would be red right now, the shark, while silent at the moment, was most likely putting two and two together, realizing that they were the ones that had caused so much trouble to him, he wanted them dead, and that he had in common with Gareth "That's why, Rex Viltra, we challenge you! An Arena match for the ownership of the arena, if you can't do a proper job here, your blood will paint the sand and your death will be yet another spectacle for the people in here!" The public cheered, this had never happened before, if Rex took the bait, they would get to see someone die and actually watch a better match than what they paid for.

"I see, so it was you fools...You want this arena? The only thing you'll own here will be your own coffins, you'll have to prove your worth before I even give you the chance to die by my hands, release the fighters!" Rex screamed, his order being carried out rather quickly as many doors were opened all around the arena, a total of 10 fighters being sent in, a besalisk, two Trandoshans and the rest being a few humans carrying blunt weaponry and vibrodaggers, they were all warriors that probably survived a bout or two, strong, but not as strong as Gareth and Koll... "BRING IT ON!" Gareth screamed as he threw his jacket and shirt to the ground, naked from the waist up and showing his tattoos to the arena, it was going to be a good fight.

[Konn]

Konn

Konn listened to the words of Gareth and Rex as he stood in the ring, arms crossed. No nickname for Konn yet, although that was fine. The comment Gareth made about the Wookiee was indeed true though, he was a man of action. Soon they were flooded by ten enemies. Including, two Trandoshans, spotting them the Wookiee let out a large growl. Natural enemies, Konn was going to tear them to shreds. Charing at the one nearest he tackled the Trandoshan to the ground with ease. The reptilian batting Konn with his pipe as he did so. Grabbing the Trandoshan by his hand he snatched the pipe out of it and slammed it straight into his face. Once, twice, three times and the Trandoshan groaned. The pipe now bent into the shape of the reptilian’s skull. Konn threw the pipe at the other Trandoshan, hitting him in the face and stunning him. Konn charged at the second Trandoshan, shoulder barging him to the ground as he was temporarily stunned. Picking the second Trandoshan up he saw as the first one stumbled to his feet. Konn launched the Trandoshan in his hands at the first one at light speed. Knocking him over, the two Trandoshans hit the ground with a thud. Konn roared and growled as he walked over to them, his feet thudding against the ring.

The Trandoshans tried scrambling to their feet but it was too late. Konn grabbed the two by their throats and raising them up he choke slammed the two into the ground, then bringing them up again he did it a second, then third time. Dropping them to the ground, Konn grabbed one by the jaw. The Trandoshan squirmed in his hands as he broke the reptilians neck. Then the second Trandoshan, trying to crawl away and struggling to breathe. Konn picked him up. Rising him to the air he let out a roar before slamming his back into his knee with a snap. The Trandoshan became limp and the Wookiee flung him out of the ring and up at Rex who ducked as the Trandoshan landed behind him. Konn beat his chest, ready for more blood and violence.

[Gareth Gin]

Konn wasn't the only one that was about to have fun, Gareth knew that those ten fighters could actually get a couple hits in if they just piled on them, so Gareth decided to move towards Konn who was currently dealing with the two Trandoshans, three humans were currently getting close to them, but the other five remaining fighters were on the opposite side of the arena so Gareth had some time to deal with them.

The first one tried to stab him in the gut with a vibroknife, but with swift movements Gareth blocked the knife with one of the matukai gauntlets, deflecting it to the side and then grabbing the human's arm, throwing him at one of the other two humans and making them fall to the ground. The third one tried to hit him on the back of the head, flanking the Miralukan while he fought off the other two, but the force was on his side, he sensed the attack incoming and ducked under it, quickly turning around and delivering a right hook to the arena fighter, who turned his back on him as a result. Deciding to end it right there, Gareth kicked his opponent in the back of the knee, forcing him to kneel down, grabbed him by the head to make him look up, lifted his leg and axe kicked him, ending that opponent for good.

The other two were up just by the time Gareth finished his opponent, one attacking from the left, the other one attacking from the right side, both aiming for his neck. Gareth dodged the attacks once again, grabbing both of them by the wrist of the hand they were using to hold the knife and then, with a bit of extra strength given by the force, forced them to stab each other. Gareth finishing the humans off just in time, as the other four humans charged the Wookiee while the Besalisk charged the Miralukan

[Konn]

Konn

Konn was approached by 4 humans in the ring whilst the Besalisk charged Gareth. The Wookiee cracked his knuckles as the men with vibroknives got ready to attack. They charged at him, attempting to slash and cut at Konn. Konn dodged and weaved between the men, grabbing one and throwing him into another both of them landing in a heap on the ring’s floor. Konn was charged by the other two opponents, they tried to stab him with their vibrio knives. One of the knife’s glanced against Konn’s side, the other he had stopped by grabbing the man’s arm. Quickly, he grabbed the other by the throat and lifted him up. These two men were now at his mercy. Konn launched his foot in the one stood up, pulling back on his arm he tore it off. The man let out a scream of pain before Konn threw his arm at him and choke slammed the second human, breaking his neck almost instantly.

The other two humans had now rose to their feet, Konn charged them grabbing on by the hair whilst kicking the other one across the ring. Konn lifted the human up by the hair and slammed his fist into his face several times. Blood burst from the man’s nose, he groaned as the Wookiee slammed his skull into the ring floor. Standing up, Konn slammed his giant foot into the back of his head killing him. Looking upon his last human opponent, he walked over to him slowly. The man was winded, holding his stomach and groaning. He pointed his vibroknife up at Konn with a shaking hand, the Wookiee simply snatched it out of his hand and stuck it into the man’s throat. Having killed his opponents, Konn stretched his arms and turned to see if Gareth was done.
