Name: Ari Yette
Occupation: Jedi Knight
Species: Twi'lek

Description: Target is wanted by the New Sith Imperium for war crimes and treason. She is a long time member of the New Jedi Order and has committed several crimes towards the Imperium directly. Target has not been sighted anywhere recently. She is wanted dead or alive. If captured, please contact your nearest Imperial outpost for instructions.

The aging diner was almost empty at this time of night. It seemed that no one cared much for the nerf steaks and craft drinks at midnight. The only staff out front was a single waitress, who spent much more time on her HoloNet Tablet than watching for customers, but who could blame her with only one person dining that night.

The lady was reclined back in the booth seat, only fiddling with the food before her. Sure, this may have been one of the better eateries on Denon, but eating was not her purpose, and she wasn't hungry anyway. She had been here for the past hour or so, and only now had her objective walked through the door.

The man was clad in a typical duraplast armor, not far off from an Imperial soldier, but a little more expensive looking. His bald hair cut, the forced look of toughness and attention, and the over-sized blaster swaying from his hip gave him away. Another wanna-be bounty hunter.

He sat across from the lady, both arms crossed atop the table as she continued to play with her food.
"You my informant?" He asked with a gruff, impatient tone. She raised an eyebrow and gave him a smirk. "No, your tailor. God, your choice of armor is horrendous." He didn't seem to like that little bit of prodding. "Cut the crap. Tell me what you know about the girl." How rude, she thought. These dime-a-dozen soldiers have no manners.

"What do you wish to know about her? She's a Jedi, and has a price on her head. Isn't that enough for you, brute?" She did not like his attitude, and he really didn't like her sense of humor, displaying it with a gnarly growl. The lady rolled her eyes and sighed. "You people can never take a joke. Alright, here's what I know."

Before she started, she brushed her lekku out from behind her, allowing them to rest at her shoulders as her hands fell into her lap. "She was born on Balmorra in a small village. Her parents were poor, father died when she was young. Mother was left to work in the fields.

"Seven years later, this Arms Manufacturing Company wants to put a plant on their village. Her people fight back. They ask the Galactic Alliance for help, but they don't. The Jedi on the other hand send one of their own to lend a hand. Should I go on?" She inquired as she reached over and took a swig of her caf. The bounty hunter nodded, so she picked up from her last point.

"Anyways, she came to admire the Jedi Knight. He was a big, strong man sticking up for them, he could do magical things with his mind, and he had a bad-ass weapon, so of course the little girl idolized him. Even more so, the Jedi Knight spent a little more time with her than the other kids. He showed her neat Force tricks and such and answered all her questions. One day she was giddy as all get out when she overheard him talking to her mother, saying that the girl had a special gift."

She took a brief pause to pop a crick in her neck, a hand coming up to rub the soft, yellow skin. "That hurt. Anyways, one day the hired guns of the Arms Manufacturers came and decimated the village. They even managed to kill the Jedi Knight. The little girl took his broken lightsaber, and as the villagers were forced to work in the Arms Factory, the girl spent years tinkering the lightsaber, trying to get it to work again.

"Fast forward several years later. The girl is all grown up, eighteen at this point. Her mother comes home from the factory one day bruised, bloody, and barely conscious. The Factory Manager had beat her for screwing up a simple task. The little girl, not so little anymore, was not happy. So, she took the newly-finished lightsaber and broke into the Manager's home to murder him."

The bounty hunter shed a look of genuine surprise on his face. "Wow. Never heard of a Jedi outright murderin' someone like that." The lady laughed. "And you still haven't. The girl succumbed to her conscience and opted not to kill the guy. Instead, she took his hand for punishment. She scooted, realized it was safe for her, grabbed as much stuff of hers from home as she could, and stole a ship. She left Balmorra for good.

"Now that she was off into the galaxy, she did a check of her assets. She had a great body, a pretty face, some handy tech skills, an old lightsaber, as well as a ship, which happened to come packaged with a blaster. So, that pretty much narrowed it down to smuggler in her eyes. She spent years running everything from guns to spice to tech, anything but slaves."

The woman picked up the glass of caf again and raised it to her lips just before speaking. "Care for a swig?" She offered. The man shook his head. "Not thirsty. Keep going." Once again, his impoliteness ruled his speech. She shrugged her shoulders before taking a sip of the stuff. "Be that way. Anyways, one day she found herself on the Daedelus Station, running some cargo for the Hutts. These two guys decided they liked her ship and were going to steal it. They ambushed her and almost killed her.

"That was when a Jedi popped out of nowhere. Scared them both off and saved her life. When asked what drew him out, the Jedi said he followed the Force, found it within her, and offered her a chance to join the Jedi. Still somewhat enthralled with the Order and with nothing better to do, she agreed." The bounty hunter had scoffed. "Sounds like a child's storybook plot to me. You sure that's true?" He asked. She nodded before continuing on.

"Most definitely. As I was saying, she agreed and joined the New Jedi Order. She learned the ropes as a Padawan and was thrown straight from the frying pan into the fire. The fire being the Great War. She fought on several worlds, even on Coruscant when it fell. When the Empire took over, she fled and still served the galaxy as a Jedi, even though the Order was fragmented and the Sith had won. She figured she still had a job to do.

"However, when the Jedi got back together again, the woman was more-than-happy to be back. In honor of her skills and time with the Order, the new Masters pronounced her a Jedi Knight. She is well-dedicated to the New Jedi Order and has pledged to bring the Sith down. She still floats about the Outer Rim, going here and there, kicking some Sith ass wherever she can, as well as fulfilling her commitment as a Jedi. That's all I know about her."

The bounty hunter smirked and nodded his head. "That's quite a bit of information. How'd you come across all this information? Not even the Imperials had this much on her. Say, what's your name again?" The dumb brute. He could even put two and two together. She acted preemptively, drawing the cylindrical device from her hip and igniting the blade, a glowing beam of light extending out from it. Reacting, the hunter reached for his weapon, but the effort was in vain.

The glowing blade had already been rammed through his chest, ending him quickly and painlessly. She deactivated the lightsaber and got up out of the booth, looking down upon the smoldering body.
"Ari. The name's Ari." The moment she realized the waitress, formerly being blissfully inattentive, had ran out of the diner screaming to the high heavens, the Jedi Knight had pulled her cloak over her head and strode out of the establishment, leaving behind little trace of her presence.

Looks solid!

Spare, especially for what I've seen you do, but good nonetheless.

What are your plans for her?

I just wanted to get her ready for the timeskip, considering I've been procrastinating doing it this long. As a matter of fact, I still have one more character I haven't got ready :( I'll probably expand on this when I feel the inspiration, but it works for now.

As for my plans for her, I was planning on joining the Jedi Shadows as an Infiltrator to work among the criminal underworld given her history as a smuggler.

I understand! A lot to update, with everything going on. One. More. Character!

But hey, I really look forward to your application!

Well, lookie-here. It seems I've worked up the patience and creativity to do another upgrade on Ari's profile. Added in a bunch of stuff I didn't have before, so I hope this looks good.
