“I don’t care who rules the Galaxy as long as they rule it well.”
Ariadne, preferred to call herself Ari, was the oldest of three, a younger brother and a younger sister. She was always the instructor. She was quiet and observant, and logical. She knew showing emotions was fine, but not if you needed to get things done.
Authoritative and confident, the aspiring Rebel found a knack for battle plans and recruiting others. She enjoys strategizing and finding talents within herself and others. She is quick to make alliances, and if the Force forbids it, friends. She finds herself sympathizing with those who have lost because of the Empire, and she finds herself caring more than she lets on. The woman, although 31, is still growing from her mistakes and still learning from them. A commander she wants to be, and so she will work towards it.
Bio
Ariadne was born in the autumn season of Shili. Her mother raised her on her own, as her father was busy as a peacekeeper. Although her father made compromises with a firm hand, a man is only as strong as his partner makes him be. Both were strong individuals, but Ariadne would watch her mother cry and still hold council and advise the diplomat, as she raised Ariadne and her siblings.
Death and destruction. The elders said when the Empire took over the land of Shili long ago. And they were right, much later. So the peace carried on and treaties were made, until a new Governor of Shili came. The previous one was kind and gentle enough, she cared about the Togrutas and tried to make it livable with the Empire. When she passed, the new one came, as grisly and bigoted as the Imperials were rumored to be. But, Ariadne tried to keep a positive mind.
It wasn't until she saw how families were struggling (including her one), whether because of unfair laws the new governor or executions by rogue Sith, she noticed something was awry. And when Ariadne traveled, it never failed she saw some mark of the Empire. As a natural born leader, the Togruta knew that this was not how a rule should go.
Ariadne acknowledges that the Sith’s rule needs to come to an end, but she doesn’t disagree with them fully. She thinks changes should be made, and she wants to be the one to make that change. She practiced diplomatic missions with her father, all of them not so significant.
It wasn't until her father died suddenly while being in decent health Ariadne began to feel the toil of the Imperial Era of the Galaxy personally. She insisted her own father was poisoned, but instead, she was dismissed as overreacting.
Now, years later, she understands what the Elders have said. She is going to be the one who brings the force, but not The Force, to the table.
