Arlan/Tovar Dahn's Training

Arlan and Tovar entered the training room on the academy on Korriban, always expecting an attack from the other. They saw bones rattled about and the lighting was very dim. Each of them was to be trained today and together. Neither of them liked each other, and that would not help in their training. Arlan then said to Tovar, "If you plan on attacking me, you will be destroyed." "Same here, 'brother'." Tovar said back. Arlan thought he should take Tovar's lightsaber right then to kill Tovar. This way, Arlan didn't have to deal with him.

((sorry mrun0riginal, but you get to train 2 people anyways. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!))

 

[Will]

Ren strode into the dark room, her puppets faithfully clicking behind her. She flicked her hand, and the man was sent spiralling to the floor. ''I am Ren Kumori. Why are you here? why do you even deserve to be in our hallowed halls? Answer!'' She let the force amplify her voice, darkness enveloping the two.

Arlan pushed Tovar to the ground and answered their master, "We are here to learn the ways of the Sith. The way to power. The way to destruction of all our enemies. I am Arlan Dahn. This wretch on the ground is my clone, Tovar Dahn." This was a very long answer for only 2 questions. Arlan and Tovar knew that it was sufficient enough to practically make their master, Ren Kumori, respect them.

 

[Will]

''Two of you? Why? Never mind.'' She stared right into their minds, probing them with spikes puncturing memories, causing them physical pain. She had to know that they were acceptable candidates. As she did so, she spoke into their minds. Tell me the Sith code. NOW The last word was emphasised with a burst of pain into their minds.

Arlan felt a sharp pain in his mind and almost lost consciousness. Tovar collapsed on the ground but immieditaly got back up. Their master told them to tell her the Sith Code. Arlan told her back, "Well, if I remeber correctly it is: Peace is a lie, there is only passion.......Through passion, I gain strength." Midway through, Tovar joined in and simultaneously they both continued, "Through strength, I gain power......Through power, I gain....victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me." They were both pretty sure that this was it and felt confident and hoped it was.

 

[Will]

She smashed them to the floor with the force, pinning them down. Towering over them, she gave a question loaded with evil intent. ''What does it mean? I want you both to have the same answer.'' She looked at the two. An odd pair, though working together would lend them strengths. Her puppets stood wordlessly, their smooth, expressionless faces looking straight ahead.

Arlan and Tovar where pinned to the ground. Both of them got minor wounds and listened to their master's question. They both, by chance, had the same answer. Their answer was, "We shall tell you, line by line, what we think the code means, if you don't mind, master. We think the first line means basically what it says: Peace is a lie, there is only passion. The second line states that Through passion, a person gains strength. This confuses us and we cannot think of what it means to us. Third line: We think it means that if you are strong, you will gain power over others. If you have power over others you can become victor in battle and other times. Through victory, you have no more restrictions on your life. For this to happen, the Force must free you." As long as their answer was, Arlan and Tovar thought that it would be acceptable to their master, Ren. Arlan asked himself, My other answer was fine. Why should this be any different?

 

[Will]

She sighed. ''It will suffice'' the huge weight of the force upon the pair lifted. ''You already know what the force is. Do you know how to use it?'' She toned down the feel of hatred pulsing from her, but kept it there, subtle malice in her tone.

Arlan smiled and looked towards Tovar. Quickly, Arlan picked up a sharp bone from the ground with the Force and flung it at Tovar's face. Tovar caught it with the Force in mid air and flung it back at Arlan. Arlan dodged the bone and sent Force Lightning right towards Tovar. It hit him and sent him to the ground. Arlan, thinking Tovar was defeated, turned his back on him. Tovar Force Jumped into the air from the ground and Force pulled Arlan into the air. Arlan was sent flying but quickly drained part of Tovar's life force in mid air. They both landed on their backs but got up qucikly. "And there is your demonstration, master." Tovar said. This demonstration surely had to amaze Ren.

 

[Will]

Ren pulled them both into the air with the force, and then stood them on the ground. The puppets beside her crumpled, and ren twitched her hands and fingers. The two danced as she spoke to them. ''I asked if you knew how to use it, not to show me. Now, both of you.'' She let them regain control of their bodies, and her puppets stood. ''Attack'' The puppets raised their hands, and lightsabres were present, their purple blades hissing to life, the abnormally long handles gleaming in the purple light. ''You'll find your weapons on the ground beside you.'' Two cortosis bars, sharpened to blades sat on the floor. She waited.

Arlan looked at the cortosis bar next to him. He looked at it and picked it up, readying for a defence and said, "Now Tovar, we must work together. No fighting eachother." Tovar picked up his bar and stood beside Arlan. "I know, but that doesn't mean I don't hate you. I have a plan, focus on defence but when they hit our blades and recoil, strike them."Tovar said, knowing that Arlan had to follow his plan. This plan was perfect, the only way it could be stopped is if one of them missed a block.

 

[Will]

Ren stood. ''I told you two to attack. Do it.'' The puppets clicked as ren made them shuffle with impatience.

Arlan became mad at Ren's request to attack and give up a good plan but went with it. He whispered to Tovar, "Ok Tovar, we'll give our master what she wants. When I attack the one that is going for me, quickly slice his legs off from behind. And vice versa for the other." Quickly he attacked the puppet going towards him. This plan had to work......

 

[Will]

Ren watched as one attacked, and made the puppet rush at the last second. As the other came to slice at the legs, she let out a laugh. Where he sliced, nothing happened, and the other puppet was behind him, kicking him in the back to the floor. ''I prepared these puppets to withstand even heavy blaster fire. Do you think a mere sword will stop them?'' The puppet facing the first blocked the attack, stabbing out slowly. They would require little effort...

Arlan blocked the slow stab. He yelled to everyone while drawing his lightsaber, "I am tired of these games! Tovar, draw your lightsaber! Drop the blade!" As Arlan said this, Tovar drew his lightsaber and smiled. Tovar whispered again to Arlan, "Well, Arlan. Use life drain on one and I will push the other away constantly. Kill that one and then we will, together, destroy the other." Arlan evily grinned towards the puppets. "Prepare for a little fun, slaves." he said.

 

[Will]

Ren smiled at the stupidity. ''Yes, use life drain on metal puppets'' She was glad to see they drew lightsabres, She saw one get pushed away. She let it fly, her other hand now taking extra control of the other puppet. A cortosis weave vibroblade popped out of the hand, functioning like a sword. It blocked both attacks, parrying and riposting, leaving a bleeding cut across one's chest, and an area of burned tissue along the other. ''Stop'' She ordered, layering her voice with the force. As they did, she let the puppets resume position. ''Know your enemy before you attack them. You were using powers that would be fine on organic foes, but you were against metal puppets, with no life force, controlled only by me.'' She clicked her fingers, and an expressionless ex-sith shuffled into the room, carrying a towel. This is what those two would become if they failed. Ren used it to mop her brow. It was warm in the lower rooms, near the forges. ''Now, you feel pain, yes? Use that pain to fuel your force powers. You, on the left, lift that boulder once you have used the pain to fuel you. Doing this should also work as a type of local anaesthetic. On the right, do the same on the other boulder.''

Arlan was getting tired of being injured, or ordered to do something he could do to easily. He thought that using metal puppets wasn't fair and had they been organics, knew they would already be dead. Arlan became even more angry and sent lightning from his fingertips straight at his master while Tovar tried to stop him. "Damnit Arlan! Stop this instant!" Tovar said, but Arlan didn't stop, he kept on going. "Arlan, stop now or I will kill you!" he said, but again, Arlan didn't stop.

 

[Will]

Ren caught the energy in her palm, absorbing it, like she had been taught long ago. She smiled, and sent it all back at Arlan, concentrated into a ball. As she did so, she sent the force right into his mind. She looked deep within, before deciding to flay it. She ripped and tore, not making him brain dead, but injuring him enough to knock him out. ''His anger is commendable, but he is too shortsighted and stupid. He must learn respect.'' She turned to the other. ''Do as i told you.''

Not wanting to end up like Arlan, Tovar said, "Yes, Master. I shall do as you please." As he said this, he turned towards the boulder and fueled the Force with his anger of Arlan not listening to him, and attempted to lift the boulder. He lifted it to the ceiling and dropped it, leaving it to crush a few bones on the ground. "There, Master. I have done as you commanded." he said, hoping that, even though he dropped it, it was good enough.

 

[Will]

''Ok. Now. I am going to do something unique, i have rarely done before. What do you want to learn?'' She asked. This other one was more interesting than the angry one. He was more of a cold, controlled anger. Far deadlier.
