"Arlen Aran, treasure hunter extraordinaire! That's who you have the pleasure of dealing with today my friend. With my skills, and a small pile of credits from you, almost anything you like can be yours in a short time."

"My name is Arlen Aran, and, as you can hopefully tell from my nifty little headliner there, I happen to be a, professional "treasure hunter". I have reason to believe that I am one of the best ones out there; since none of the ones I tried to pay before I got into the business could get something it took me a grand total of 56 hours to grab. You hear that? Fifty six hours to grab something that I had people working on for months. I understand it though, really sometimes it's just hard to be as good as me. You know, most people just can't manage it. Unless of course, it's for killing someone, or for beating someone up, or... well, who wants to be good at that sort of thing anyways?

Anyways, I actually do prefer to acquire treasure that is not being currently owned by someone. The feeling of going through an old ruin, with possible traps at every corner is exhilarating. It's like a gamble, you know? Where your bet is your own physical health, and the ruin is going "all in", with it's amazing old artifacts. I love gambling, always have... not sure why you'd really care about that though. I promise that I'll never gamble with something that you want me to acquire... unless I'm positive that I'll win.

Regardless, I will still go after a treasure that you truly want even if someone else happens to be in possession of it though. The object just really has to mean something is the deal. I hate going after useless baubles, I reckon that if something is actually worth my time, then it ought to actually do something once you have it. Sure, I'll grab some rare million credit necklace for you, as it probably means that you'll pay pretty well. But the whole damn ordeal will end up being boring for both of us in the end. Yeah, you'll have a necklace that you ended up paying triple price for because you're jealous. But then what? Will your greatest feat with it be showing it off to your friends, always at risk of showing the wrong person? Isn't it better to get something worth a little less in credits, but with far more overall value? Something that will maybe, help you find out an old secret about your family? Or maybe even something greater... something that almost the entire galaxy would kill to get it's hands on.

...Sorry about that, just me rambling on about nonsense. Still, a bit of rambling... hearing a tale isn't a terrible part of the price to hire the best treasure hunter in the world is it? Nah, didn't think so.

Oh, you're worried about what I said before? Yeah, I'm aware that my work is pretty dangerous. I assure you that you usually don't need to kill people to defend yourself. I designed my own special blaster in order to avoid that kind of thing. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve to defend myself and your treasures, don't you worry.

So, remember, I'm one of a kind. The absolute best that you will ever have the opportunity to hire. My info to contact me again is on this little card that I'm leaving with you. If you haven't made a decision within 4 hours, I'll assume that you've decided against it.

Good Bye."

One of Arlen's 3 most prized possessions, he knows that it unlocks a door that will teach him much about his families history, and that it has one other unknown use. He does not know where to use the card, or the secondary use. The design of this card is what Azer based his gold and blue cards off of. It has a small red skull in the bottom right corner.

Blue Card:
This card was originally made to be as close to the Red Card as possible, but when it would found out that the Red Card data could not be transferred; it was re purposed. Now mostly a hacking tool, great for quickly getting into bank accounts and into key-card reading doors.

PERSONALITY:
Arlen has a notable love of gambling, the thrill that comes from risks and chance tends to drive his actions. He also loves to experiment, and is always trying to upgrade and customize everything to make it better for his job, so that he will always have an ace up his sleeve.

BIOGRAPHY:

An easy cushioned life is what awaited Arlen for most of his early life; as he was a descendant of a once crime based family turned legitimate. Being largely bored schooling when he was younger, he grew an immense interest in learning about his family's previous history. The part that he considered to be the interesting side. Unfortunately for him, the current other living members of his family considered anything other than a mild discussion of what was known to be taboo. Somewhere along the line, someone had grown very ashamed of their history, and had managed to convince most of the rest of the family tree to feel the same.

Unable to access what had previously caught his interest, he had to find a new outlet. He quickly picked one up that ended up costing him a few friends. But the act itself became one of his closest friends. Gambling. He took it up in any form; cards, dice, bets, all of it. He learned how to bluff, and to always have the best hand in any situation, even if it wasn't the one that was dealt to you. It's also at this time that he learned how to diffuse situations without anyone getting seriously hurt. His little hobby went on without any real interruption for most of his teen years. Still, occaisionally damages arose that his family ended up having to pay for; and after all this time, family members became annoyed at this.

In an attempt to get him to quit his gambling, his grand-father decided to play off of his competitive nature. He made a bet with him, one that would end up being the catalyst of determining what the gambler did with his life. The bet and the game were both simple, the game was just one game of pazaak. If Arlen won, then he would recieve something that could tell him everything he would ever want to know about the family history. If he lost, he had to swear to be done gambling for life.

Arlen had quickly accepted the bet, he hadnt turned one down in many years. Arcen was prepared to do anything to win the game; he had cards hidden everywhere, he had brought his absolute best side deck, and had even managed to mess with his grandpa's sidedeck before the game. However, none of it mattered, Arcen got a natural 20 on all three hands. His grandfather was silently furious, as he too had attempted to make precautions to assure himself the win. He pretended to be calm, and walked away.

A few minutes later, he came back with a Red card. He then said "With this, you can learn everything about our family and much more. You, however, will have to find out how to use this on your own. The only other knowledge I will give you is in two words, Darcian, and The Red Skulls."
Without explaining any more, he walked away.

For a while, he merely sat with the card, stunned about how worthless what he had just been told seemed to him. He walked around his house, not speaking to anyone, just looking at the card. Then he realised that he could do this, he could rise to the challenge with the tiny amount of information that he had been given... at least, with a little more financing than what he had. His parents however, lacked the interest in making a bet with him, and gave him an ultimatum. He could leave now, without any of their money, and he could see if he could sustian his little trip on gambling profits. Or, he could wait until he was eighteen, and they would give him some of the funding that he needed, and possibly a bit more information to go on. While Arlen liked challenges, he also liked to stack the deck in his favor so he accepted.

When he turned 18, his parents kept most of their promise. They gave him quite a bit of funding, and told him that he could head out whenever he liked. (To be finished later)

I havent done a profile in a really long time. I know it isnt great, but I just really wanted to get this finished.

In the profile you listed the "Red Card" as the prized possesion, and the key to his families heritage. In the literary section you listed the "Gold Card" as such. Might wanna check/Fix that. But a very interesting character.
