ARMs INC.
Welcome to the Association of Republic Manufacturing Incorporated
In comparison to Czerka, ARMs is not a singular company but rather multiple companies of all sizes and influences working together to provide services throughout the entire galaxy. ARMs offer jobs for many peoples. From manufacturing, to escorting the products, or even being part of a development team. ARMs provides many great opportunities for its individuals.
ARMs was created as an attempt to create “fair business” across the entire galaxy. This plan of course has obstacles, which require serious efforts in order to protect said “fair business”. In actuality, the face of ARMs is false. Businesses are forced into agreements with ARMs in order to remain protected from the very danger that is threatening them.
The true colors of ARMs reveal its want for ruthless domination of the business industry; to create a monopoly that suffocates all competition. This powerful business operates similar to a mafia: if you obey the rules you live another day, but if you don’t obey….
OOC: The purpose of ARMs is to provide indie characters a unique faction where they may roleplay in a large variety of situations including, but not limited to: security of assets, negotiations with other factions, manufacturing products, developing new technology, and “broadcasting” intergalactic news.
Structure
Similar to Czerka, ARMs has multiple “public” positions that are to maintain a good public image. In addition, there are many other positions that ARMs neither confirms or denies exist within their corporation. (OOC: just because something says “Generally ___” do not believe you can’t have that position. I’m willing to give any position away as long as interest and dedication is provided)
Official “public” positions: (each of these is a “mob boss” and essentially leads the members of their unofficial group)
President of ARMs (generally FL or NPC)
Public Relations Manager (generally AFL or NPC)
Head Manufacturing Coordinator (generally AFL or NPC)
Director of Internal Affairs (generally AFL or NPC)
Chief Delivery and Shipment Officer (generally AFL or NPC)
“Unofficial” ARMs positions
Propaganda distributers (open)
Manufacturing worker (open)
Counter-propaganda members (open)
Personal security crewmembers (open)
Assets
Although there are countless companies under the ARMs name, some names are considered more widely known. Their headquarters locations and other main positions will be discussed below.
Coruscant: Main HQ of ARMs. This location provides the face of ARMs to the general public and also allows for senate lobbying if needed.
Byss: Space Station location. This location is the major route for all networking for all of ARMs (both propaganda and counter)
Fondor: Manufacturing, Research, and Training facilities. Negotiations with the guild of shipwrights has provided ARMs with assess to Fondors manufacturing and research abilities. In exchange ARMs provides planetary suppressive police action.
