One thing I'm glad they ripped off is how they said Ra's. They pronounced it Raz. Raysh is stupid.
My mistake. It was Neil Adams who called him "Raz".Don't know where you got that from, but Dennis O'Neil says Raysh.

Doing a search I only hear Raysh or it is a "potato/potahto" situation. Never a strict Raz and let's be honest. Never heard a single man say potahto.
I figured it was a potato/potahto situation too. I have no attachment to the pronunciation of Raysh, so as an outsider (so to speak), I personally think that Raz is a more compelling/intimidating way of saying it for a villain. I don't get villainous vibes from Raysh.
