New Alderaan

It really is nice and convenient that there is a Jedi Temple on his homeworld New Alderaan, granted it's used for mostly diplomatic purposes but it's fine enough. At the Leia Memorial Hospital in the city New Aldera, right now Ty Reus would be standing at a waiting room there waiting for students to arrive. Ty Reus has taken it upon himself to teach what may be considered a daunting power to learn; Force Healing.

The hospital director was happy enough to let Jedi come in and let Jedi learn practice their healing powers on some of the patients here that have minor injuries. That is a good thing for the Jedi who get to have practical experience training and further helps the people of New Alderaan whom the Jedi have good rapport with.

Ty Reus would be with a staff member, while the students would be assembling. He would check his chrono is getting that time. The Knight-Justicar is excited to be a in this position teaching others, it doesn't seem so long ago from when he was a student...

More classes meant less moments to simply stare at nothing while letting his mind wander to what ifs that would never happen. Just because he'd been to a therapy session (and admittedly looking forward to the next one) didn't mean that his feelings, his mental state, would be fixed in a heartbeat. Recovery for him turned out to be a long and gruelling process, but he wanted so badly to be okay. He wanted to be okay so he wouldn't need to lie to his friends about his conflicting emotions any longer.

Arctus found himself in front of the Leia Memorial Hospital, the Padawan himself fresh from a quick visit on the Jedi Temple on New Alderaan before making his way to his destination. According to the class sign-up Knight Ty Reus would be teaching a group of willing Padawans about Force Healing. Admittedly, the former smuggler had no idea how it worked but he was willing to learn. Healing was one of the staple skills of a Jedi (or so he had read), and learning about the skill would be of great use.

He was dressed in his Padawan garb, the robe billowing lightly behind him as he made a beeline for the hospital. One of the staff looked up as Arctus set foot in the hospital, the woman rising from her seat and waving at him.

"Hi, are you with Knight Reus?" she asked, a welcoming smile on her pretty face.

The Padawan nodded in response then walked towards her. Hazel grey eyes scanning the reception area, he asked back, "He's here, right? Where is...?"

"Oh, yes, please follow me!"

Walking side by side with the pretty, helpful nurse, Arctus was then directed towards the waiting room. She inclined her head at him, leaving the Padawan following after her with his gaze. Nice kid, that one.

He found the Knight conversing with another staff member of the hospital. Remembering his manners, Arctus would offer Knight Reus a respectful bow, extending the greeting to the staff member. The Padawan would then remain where he stood next to the waiting room's door, keeping his silence for now while waiting for the others.

Wilvick was not usually an anxious person. All that happened, happened because the Force willed it. Well, as long as those things weren't of the Dark Side, of course. Regardless, the young Knight was nervous. For most of his time as a Padawan, he had excelled in the more physical skills that had been taught to him. His grasp on the higher mysteries of the Force had been... lacking.

It was something he strove to amend, after Dantooine. With the loss of his master, and his elevation to Jedi Knight, Wilvick had found that his time was now his to control. He had no schedule to adhere to, mandated lessons to attend. He only had to do as the council bid him, which was far less than his master had requires of him, funnily enough.

So now, he had to fill that time.

He found himself at the Leia Memorial Hospital, in simple brown robes, meandering through the halls. Of all places to learn how to utilize the Force to heal wounds, Wilvick figured this was the most appropriate. The young Knight turned a corner, and found himself a few feet away from what seemed to be two members of his order, as well as some of the hospital staff. Right where he needed to be.

He approached the group, offering a bow to his fellow Knight, but remaining quiet as the man was clearly engaged with the hospital staff.

The Force Healing course was an easy sign-up for Lucien. He had a respect for those who used their gifts in the Force to mend the wounded, repair the damaged. Although he'd ended up following the more active, adventurous path of a Jedi Knight, the young Naboo man was ever keen to expand his knowledge. At the very least, it would be a change of pace compared to the slew of missions he'd just been engaged in.

He supressed a shiver as he strode through the doors of Leia Memorial. Hospitals had a way of making him uncomfortable. The stark lighting, the sterility - Lucien had never stepped foot in a hospital that didn't scream artificial. There were practical reasons for designing them in this way of course, but that logic didn't put him any more at ease.

After a brief interaction with a friendly nurse, Lucien was directed to a waiting room. The attire worn by the individuals occupying it marked them unmistakeably as Jedi, and Lucien's own earthy green robe had him fitting in splendidly.

"Greetings, nice to meet you. I'm Lucien" He'd whisper to the two waiting men, bowing politely to each of them. A third was in conversation with a member of Hospital staff, Knight Reus presumably. Lucien would wait until their instructor finished his business with the staff before introducing himself.

Ah, so the students have assembled... are they missing one though? They can catch up though. Still, it's good to see people who are interested in learning about Force Healing, and Ty was more enthusiastic to teach. "Hello there, Thank you all for taking time out your days to come here" Ty said as he turned his attention to the Jedi who gathered. He would do a showman's bow as he would introduce himself "I'm Ty Reus. Jedi Knight, Healer, (Justicar, Magician,) MD, .etc .etc" he chucked as he said the last parts in jest, he wasn't really a medical doctor.. "And I will show you all Force Healing." he smiled. He would then pause, letting them introduce themselves to him. But it wouldn't be too long anyways before he would proceed "Alright then Temporary Residents, without further-a-do, the kind nurse here will take to see our first patients". He would gesture for his students to follow her, Ty would follow along as well at the rear.

As they are going through the hospital hallways, Ty would give the basic introduction to Force Healing. "Force Healing is an power that the Jedi have used since ancient times. It is often considered that one power that most embodies the Light Side of the Force and what being a Jedi is about. Helping those in need. Force Healing allows the user to transfer their own lifeforce into another person, greatly accelerating their healing process.

I'm sure in more recent history, you all learned about how over one-hundred years ago Ben Solo gave up his life to heal Rey with this power"
The current Jedi Order wouldn't exist without that after all. "We won't be doing any sacrificing any time soon of course. Anyways, Force Healing requires calm, you to find your center, maybe a bit of meditation for first-timers or beginner levels, to feel the force flow through you, and concentration"

With that, the nurse would gesture them through the door in which they would they would have quite a few patients in beds that have minor aliments or injuries. Perfect for this lesson, The patients would wave and say hi at the Jedi collectivly, Ty would wave back.

"Alright then, watch as I demonstrate, then I will let ya'll get a try." Ty would then approach one patient, a teenage twi'lek boy "Well hello there, I'm Knight Reus. You can call me Ty though.""Hi Ty" the boy said. "Whats your name. How did you get here?" he asked, Ty would kneel down so he would be on equal level with his patient. "I'm Ionu. I got these cuts and bruises on my knee while skimboarding." the cuts and bruises look pretty rough, the Jedi would be able to see it. Ty would give an assuring smile towards the kid. "Ah! Skimboarding can be a bit rough. Not to worry Ionu, I'll make it all better!" he declared with excitement.

Ty would then demonstrate, lightly moving his hand and closing his eyes. "Alright then Residents, pay attention. I'm placing my hand lightly on the wound, closing my eyes, giving this my undivided concentration, deep breaths, reaching out with the Force, letting it flow, pouring the positive energy into the afflicted area..." The Jedi and the boy would then see it in action, the wound would then be healing at a fast rate. Soon where there was once a wound, now there would be nothing but clean healed skin. No scars. It's fully mended. The boy would then smile and rejoice "Thank you so much Mister!" "No need to thank me, just doing my job." he smiled and chuckled back.

Then Ty would turn back to the Jedi residents. "Alright then, that's how it's done. Be wary as doing this can take a bit out of you, tiring you out real quick if you aren't careful" he gave a fair warning. "Alright then, now show me what ya'll can do. I'll be here if you have any questions or need any help" Ty would stride over towards the doorway, overseeing his students as they would attempt to try healing the other patients in the room. Some last bits of advice. "Remember, take as much time as needed before you give it a shot. Meditate, find serenity, find your center...."

Arctus returned Lucien's bow then offered Wilvick one as well. So far he seemed to be the oldest in the group – and at Padawan rank, to boot. He didn't let it bother him, however. This right here was an opportunity to learn a new skill, and he would not waste it by entertaining thoughts about self-doubt and anxiety.

"Likewise, Knight Lucien. You, too, Knight Wilvick. I'm Arctus."

Alright. So far, so good.

He would've attempted to engage the two Jedi in small talk but the Knight who organized the lesson had finished speaking with the staff and approached the three waiting men. The former smuggler couldn't help but smile at Knight Reus' antics as the latter introduced himself. He seemed like an amiable guy, and Arctus immediately felt himself relaxing much more as Ty continued to speak.

Following after the Knight down the hallways, the Padawan listened carefully at Ty's introductory talk about their lesson. Arctus' gaze flickered over every room they passed in the hall and wondered if some of the patients' more serious illnesses and injuries could still be healed using the Force as well as any repercussions the healer might or might not have received. Ben Solo died after healing Rey Skywalker, after all. So, a healer could literally give their life to heal another person...?

Arctus offered the nurse a grateful bow once they stopped in a particular room. He stepped in and smiled back at the patients, raising one hand for a brief but energetic wave. Like an excitable puppy the Padawan followed Ty and watched as the latter interacted with a Twi'lek boy. Arctus shot the kid a rather cheeky wink for displaying an abundance of bravery despite the cuts and bruises on his knees. Most kids would be crying, but the boy wasn't, so that was a good thing – kid's tough.

Attention shifting from the boy to the Knight, Arctus took mental notes of Ty's instructions and watched, amazed, as the kid's wounds began to heal. Skin knitting itself back to wholeness, the bruises receding. There was no trace of the wound being there, and there were no scars, too.

So that was Force Healing.

"Alright, let's do this," he muttered to himself after Ty gave them a few reminders and last bits of advice. Arctus took a deep, calming breath and opened himself to the Force. Hazel grey eyes didn't look at faces but at the colors swaying gently in the room. One particular color – violet – seemed to reach out to him and the Padawan pivoted to his right after moving to stand in the middle of the room. He approached the person the color was coming from friendlily, an open and honest smile on his face as the violet shifted to reveal a human woman in her early twenties nursing her left hand.

"Hey there," he greeted her, smile widening when she returned it. "I'm Arctus, a Padawan of the Jedi Order."

"Aren't you a little too old to be a Padawan?" the woman quipped, smile morphing into a grin. When Arctus made a show of clutching his heart in hurt, however, she was quick to backtrack with an apology which he dismissed.

"Nah, no offense taken, seriously," he assured her as he gestured for her to show him her injured hand. The young woman's palms were abraded, but the left was more injured than the other. "I get that a lot to be fair. What's your name, and what's gotten these dainty palms in such a state?"

The young woman, for her part, seemed relieved that her jest didn't cause offense. She let Arctus take her hands and watched as the Padawan inspected the abrasions. "I'm Nala. My cat got himself stuck on a tree. That little devil made me climb up to get him, but he panicked and jumped down before I could reach him! The sudden movement surprised me, and accidentally I let go of my hold on the tree. I managed to catch myself the last minute, but," she nodded towards her scraped palms "the bark is too rough for these dainty palms."

Arctus chuckled as her story concluded, his grip on her hands firm but gentle. "Well, some cats are of the devil... or however that phrase goes, really," he joked to put her at ease for what he was about to attempt. This was his first time using Force Healing, and he hoped not to mess up. But for him to not mess up, he shouldn't think of messing up. Ty said to find serenity, after all.

The Padawan slid his hands over the young woman's palms then closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath he concentrated, conjuring up the image of her injured palms in his mind while concentrating and grounding himself in the Light of the Force. The young woman's aura – violet through his vision of the Force – rose to meet him when he reached out with the Force, letting it flow through him and into the injuries he attempted to heal.

The young woman let out a gasp when she felt her wounds closing, but slowly. Arctus' brows furrowed slightly at the sound of her voice, almost skewing his concentration. Was she hurt? Did he hurt her? The Padawan shoved the thoughts aside, knowing that they won't help him. He focused on healing her palms, converting happy thoughts into positive energy, and the scrapes resumed healing, the wounds closing slowly but surely.

When he opened his eyes the first thing he noticed was that his hands were shaking, and that Nala was holding them to steady them.

"Are you alright?" she asked.

"Your hands?" he asked back, turning her palms up so he could see. Arctus' eyes widened at what he saw.

The abrasions on Nala's palms were gone. He... He did it. On his first try. He managed to heal her wounds – however minor – using the Force on his first try. Proud and humbled by the experience, Arctus lifted one hand and gestured at the young woman for a high five.

"I did it!" he whisper-yelled excitedly, grinning wildly as she rolled her eyes good-naturedly but humored him with a grateful smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Wilvick gave his fellows a respectful nod of his head, "and I appreciate that you're willing to instruct us today, Knight Reus."

A Jedi's training was never finished, but the young Knight felt as though he'd hit a plateau these past few years. Without Keira to guide him, he'd become stagnant. Become too reliant on his lightsabers, and not enough on the Force. And a Jedi was so much more than the tiny things of light that they hung from their belts. Luminous beings were they, not crude flesh and steel.

So when Wilvick watched their teacher demonstrate his abilities; demonstrate his attunement to the Force, he wasn't awed. He wasn't blinded. He was impressed, to be sure, but he also understood. Through the Force, all things were possible, and that was why a Jedi must trust in it. Believe in it. It was life, and life could be damaged and healed.

When Ty Reus set them free to practice this skill on their own, Wilvick chose to sit cross-legged on the ground. To pull off this technique, he needed to be one with the Force. Or, well, at least as "one with the Force" as he could be while still being alive. Meditation was something that had always come easy to him, so emptying his mind took no time at all.

He felt the Force flow around them. Between him and his fellow Jedi. Between them and their patients. From the patients to the floor below, and the floor below that, all the way to the roots of the grass and trees of New Alderaan. The Force connected all things to one another, and it was easy to get lost in its currents. It was strong with him, as it was with all Jedi.

Wilvick let out a gentle breath, and stood.

A boy stood a few feet away from him, waiting patiently. His arm had been wrapped in bacta bandages, until recently, and now Wilvick could see the burns that ran down the arm. First degree, nothing dangerous. But to a child, it must have been the most painful thing in the world.

"May I?" always ask for permission.

The child nodded, and so Wilvick laid a hand over his arm, as gentle as he could be. He felt the Force warp around him, and then in him, and finally through him. His body became the conduit, and the boy's arm his focus. Slowly, slower than Ty Reus, Wilvick felt his ministrations start to take effect. The boy's skin became less irritated, and angry red blemishes became peachy clear skin once more.

Wilvick let out a breath, more tired than he thought he'd be, "that... was more strenuous than I had expected."

After introductions had been made, Lucien followed the group, listening intently as their teacher delivered his first lesson on the topic of Force healing. He reflected on the older Knight's words - healing really was a pure expression of the Light Side, and it's practitioners filled a critical role in a galaxy so full of trauma and suffering.

Lucien's eyes brightened as he watched Ty Reus close up a young boy's skimboarding wound. The wound quickly disappeared, giving way to healthy, undamaged skin and he made it all look so easy. Although countless hours had likely been invested honing the talent, seeing it so casually demonstrated filled him with confidence. Lucien always felt his connection to the Force was a temperamental one, but this time it was going to be different.

"Hello. I'm Lucien. What might be the matter today?" He said to a middle-aged Weequay reclined on a bed, one leg supported higher than the other.

"Name's Gree, nice to meet you." He replied, "Well, I was at work and a dumb loader droid swung an I-beam right into my shin. Glancing blow, but it still hurts to put weight on it."

The Weequay's left shin was indeed purple with bruising. Lucien pulled over a nearby chair, sitting level with the patient's leg and closing his eyes in focus. He went through an old breathing exercise his Master had taught him, finding his center in the Force and shutting out the outside world. Gently placing his palm against Gree's shin, he concentrated his energy into the bruised flesh, focusing on positive thoughts of health and replenishment.

"Hey, I think it's working!" The Weequay exclaimed, and Lucien opened his eyes to a slightly paler bruise. In the process he had totally lost his concentration, his grasp on the Force had slipped.

"Hold on a second, I think there's more I can do." And with that he closed his eyes again, repeating the same process. Breathing exercise, find your center, positive thoughts. Lucien tried, and tried, and yet where the Force rushed through him before, it now eluded him. His frustration grew with each failed attempt. Little annoyances within the room began to gnaw away at his concentration - the hacking cough of an old man, the faint hum given off by the room's lighting, he thought he could even feel the Weequay's growing anticipation. It was futile.

"I'm sorry Gree, it's just not going my way..." Lucien said.

"No need to apologise, friend. You did great!" He replied with a warm smile, shooting Lucien a thumbs-up.

Lucien smiled half-heartedly in return. I wonder if Knight Reus saw me struggling... Perhaps it was time to swallow his pride and ask for some help.

Healing has never been his strong point, a resource he wouldn't require too often. There was a saying in his community: «Let the two of them manage what they have learned to attend», meaning that you had to step aside when someone else had acquired better preparation to solve any kind of situation. That was the case for Senna-tra's healing abilities; he had none

The Phydolon species possesses a curious hybrid biology, just imagine sharing your body with any other kind of life being, and for them were just life forms: a single fungus species that looked like tiny threads of spider web, giving an appearance of being covered by solid wood. They live together in harmony, sharing and sustaining themselves in perfect association. It's from this deal that emerges Sen's capacity of self status recognition, just a consequence of mutual retribution. However this was only for him to benefit, a non healing capacity and if he wanted to be more capable to help all the living things of the galaxy, then learning the force healing was an unavoidable requirement to attend

The hosting place for the course ended up being Leia's memorial hospital, located in the world of New Alderan. Fortunately also by mere coincidence, Senna-tra had already arrived on the planet when the message came to his datapad; calling for all the Jedi who were interested in achieving the capacity to cure through the power of the force. Later he moved there, but first he had to remove his bio-suit (Which he had been using for a few weeks during a mission), in order to be properly hygienic to perform any healing sessions

Senna-tra assisted the hospital a few hours before the meeting time, and went directly to receive a full cleanse inside the healing tanks; it was also the moment to renew the living labour of his suit host, a duty for which no nurse wanted to stay and watch. Who would have blamed them for it? But for his bad timing, he ended up ending the process right over the time limit. He quickly geared up, wearing his harness above the bio-suit and the Jedi tunic above it, for then to move into the hospital wing accorded by the staff

A few moments later, after sprinting as possible within the norms of the hospital, it was the moment when he finally spotted the group of Jedi that seemed to be attending the call. Sen' wouldn't manage to catch the party in time without running through the halls, and so he found himself inside the hall with patients installed in their beds on both sides. The group gave the impression of having met each other beforehand; maybe only a few instants until he arrived, but it wasn't as important for him as it was to reach the group in time

Senna-tra walked towards the Jedi party without making any noise, and stepped to one side, listening to the words of knowledge and witnessing their practice. He took out a little notebook all made of rancor leather, with pages so fragile as if they were going to strip out the sewing any time; a low beam laser pen too, for those days of ink and charge lay unwanted in the long forgotten past. After he saw his companion's performance, was also taking accurate notes of their progress, but that was not enough… as an already ascended Knight of the order it was such a shame statement to raise the voice to proclaim not getting the point; and yet it was a task you got to do if you're truly interested, he thought

"Ohem… company, appreciated Ty Reus. If you don't mind I step in for a second. I'm afraid the healing gift is one I've never felt before. You've had incredible demonstrations…" said Senna-tra, taking a moment to give a nervous look into his notebook pages. Then spoke again to his fellows "... I'm clueless. Maybe to imbue the force powers in other beings isn't my strong point at all. Would you explain once more? I'll be grateful." That way, finishing his brief interruption. That was surely the kind of situation no one wanted to step into: being confused while trying to follow the advance of everybody else. But he was a Jedi knight now, so fearing something new to learn about is a thing he left in the past, like the ink pens and rustic calligraphy of forgotten stories, and his days as padawan too

Senna-tra saw to his left a young Wookie sitting in a chair, his left arm was injured and it had a really bad shape. But for the time the poor creature looked out for help, Sen's also went in sight for the instructure thinking if he was really capable of getting the healing force. If you were to look directly, there was no doubt in Senna-tra's eyes, only a real concern for the instructions as the health of an injured, probably required more than mere improvisation

How does the force work in this way?

How do I use it to repair the living flesh?

Those questions rounded his mind, awaiting for resolution

Ty stood by as he watched the residents at work. Two of them got it good. He would walk towards them and then tell them with a soft voice. "Bravo Resident Friers and Resident Aureud well done. And indeed, it can be quite tiresome" the Knight-Justicar said smiling, he meant it when he said well done. "Not many can get Force Healing on their first tries, not even I could." The students grow up so fast don't they? "All right then, there are a few more patients, go ahead and keep practicing. I'll check in on ya'll soon." . @Forsythe Crowholde @Vicc125

Anyways, there was one that was having some trouble, Ty would go over towards there and see if he can help. "Yeah, you are doing great. Courscant wasn't built in a day. You got this." he would encourage him could tell and sense was getting frustrated more and more, to the point it's inhibiting his ability to concentrate. "Just keep trying. Remember:" he would then smile. "Yet Peace. Yet Serenity, Yet Harmony. Yet the Force. Let go, feel the Force and let the Force flow through you." Reus would smile at the patient he was trying to mend while he lets Lucien go again. Reus knows to be patient, and the patients know these Jedi are also students, so they should know to be patient. @Lucien

And there was that one last Jedi who spoke to Ty, a Phydolonian is it? He doesn't see that species all to often. Anyways, they thought low of their ability to heal in the force, and while they watched the demonstration, they want it explained once more. Ty would nod and agree to it. "Sure, not a problem." Ty would then close his eyes and reach out with his hand, mimicking the gestures so the Phydolonian would be able to replicate it for sure. "Close your eyes, reach out with your hand upon the wound. Reach out with the Force and let it flow through you. , concentrate, imagine you healing the wound. Serenity, Harmony, and pour the the Force on the wound" he would then open his eyes. "Want to give it a try now?" he would ask the other Knight and glance at the wookie and nodding towards them, as if to say 'you'll will be better soon' @Senna

Ty would then stand once more against the door, looking over everything, being available if questions are asked. It looks like they are getting the hand of the power if they don't have it already. Before too long it will be time to move on.

Force Healing was strenuous, to be sure. At least, it was for the uninitiated, as Wilvick himself was. He had to take a minute to sit down, and breathe, so unused to such an exertion. His skill had always lie with the art of lightsaber combat, not with the deeper intricacies of the Force. Oh, he could use telekinesis just fine, and throw objects around if he had to.

But this? This was new. He hadn't realized how limited his knowledge and power in the Force truly was, until now.

The more he thought about it, the more it seemed that he'd been promoted to Knight too suddenly. Keira had trained him well, but she clearly hadn't taught him everything. His master had been strong with the Force, and had known more of its truths than he even knew existed. Wilvick knew that she'd been capable of this power, yet he was only now learning it, two years into his Knighthood.

His training had been incomplete. Of that, he was now sure.

Wilvick pushed himself up to a standing position, and made his way back over to Ty Reus, who seemed to be healing a... an individual of a species that the young Knight wasn't familiar with.

"Hello friend," Wilvick gave the newcomer a respectful nod of his head, before turning to Ty, "Justicar Reus, I wanted to to thank you for showing this to us once more. I... it's becoming more and more clear to me, lately, that I was promoted too hastily. What you've taught me here today is helping me fill the gaps in my knowledge."

Nala bid Arctus farewell a few moments later after the pair's energetic high-five once she was sure that the Padawan was alright. Arctus' hands stopped their shaking with the help of the young woman, her own small ones gently squeezing the Jedi's while she thanked him for mending her wounds. The young woman didn't quite understand the overexcitement Arctus displayed, but was quickly enlightened when Arctus politely pointed out the obvious that it was his first time using the Force Healing ability.

Waving back goodbye as Nala stepped out of the room, the tips of Arctus' ears turned red when Ty congratulated him and the Justicar's fellow Knight, Wilvick Aureud. Admittedly, the former smuggler himself was surprised that he had managed to use the ability on his first try. Returning Ty's smile, the Padawan courteously excused himself, not wanting to butt in on the two Knight's conversation, and moved on to choose his next patient.

Pastel blue danced on the corner of his vision and, following it, Arctus found himself faced with yet another pretty lady, this time a Nagai. The Force might be smilin' down on me, he couldn't help but joke to himself as she returned the smile he gave her. Unaware that a newcomer had arrived, Arctus failed to acknowledge the Phydolon Knight's presence, his attention focused on his current patient.

"Hi there, ma'am," he greeted the Nagai as he scanned her for any injuries. He could see nothing on her arms and hands, so his gaze drifted downwards to her legs covered by a modest, flowing skirt. As he introduced himself and asked her what the problem was, she offered him her name (Kirsi) and told him what had happened (a seemingly sprained ankle, earned from tripping downstairs in her home).

The Padawan dropped on one knee before his patient, helped her unlace her shoe, and gently held her injured ankle. Like he did with Nala, Arctus let himself be a conduit of the Force, the Light turning into healing energy as it flowed from him to Kirsi's ankle. The swelling gradually lessened, but the healing process became slower than dealing with Nala's abraded palms. Only then did Arctus remember Knight Reus' reminder about Force Healing being rather draining, but the former smuggler persevered, patiently tending to Kirsi's sprained ankle even if his hands began to shake again.

It took him a little longer to fix the female Nagai's ankle, but soon enough she was thanking him, swooping down to kiss his cheek. Face a light shade of pink as he helped Kirsi rise from her seat, Arctus couldn't stop the sheepish chuckle from escaping him when she kissed his neglected cheek before sailing out of the room. Rubbing the back of his neck rather awkwardly (Kark, did the Knights see? Nah, they're busy), the former smuggler would have moved on to yet another patient when he felt the room spin.

And his hands were still shaking.

He ignored the creeping exhaustion and instead followed the beige that pulled him in the direction of an elderly gentleman sitting on a cot. Repeating the introduction and the inquiry as to what the problem might be, the middle-aged man pointedly raised both bushy brows at Arctus then pulled the Padawan down to sit beside him.

"That's a graceful, little sway right there, lad," the elderly gentleman said as Arctus cradled the former's dislocated shoulder. "No need to use the Force in this one. Just set it the ol' fashioned way."

"Alright, sounds fair," replied Arctus, secretly relieved that he could use the time to gather his bearings. The look his patient was giving him told him that his exhaustion was duly noticed, however.

"I have a kid like you, laddie," the man, Fergus, kindly reminded him. "A Jedi who won't stop 'til he dropped from exhaustion. Don't push yourself too much, lad. I seen you strugglin' with that second lady. 'S alright to rest, see."

Smiling gratefully at his patient, Arctus prepared to fix Fergus' dislocated shoulder. "Thank you, sir. On three then?"

"Bah! You'll do it on two– ugh! You didn't! Cheeky bastard!"

"I know you'd get all stiff on two so I didn't bother counting," Arctus told Fergus as the latter rolled his shoulder, shooting the Padawan a dirty look that soon dissolved into a mirthful laugh. Glancing at his fellow Jedi, the former smuggler took the opportunity given to him by his current patient to catch his breath, so to speak. Just a quick little rest until they moved on to the next part of the lesson. Finally taking notice of the Phydolon Knight, Arctus raised a hand and waved friendlily at Knight Senna-tra.

Lucien watched Knight Reus make his tour of the ward. He felt a pang of jealousy as the Ty congratulated his fellow Jedi on their efforts and quickly forced the feeling down. Envying them won't make this gentleman's bruise heal any faster...

Finally, the Knight-Justicar approached him and he would listen intently. Ty's words sounded exactly like those spoken by Lucien's Master during his Padawan years and his first reaction was to dismiss them as platitudes. But Ty had put an interesting emphasis on his repetition of the Jedi Code and Lucien's attention was drawn to one word in particular. Yet. He understood it in an academic sense, but the Jedi Knight had gone through most of his life without truly living the Code. Lucien remembered the jealousy he felt earlier at seeing his companion's successes and he let the feeling bubble back to the surface.

Emotion, yet peace. It wasn't about supressing his feelings, about shutting out every little distraction. It was about understanding - recognising that he couldn't change the way he felt, but he could do the right thing regardless. It wasn't a new idea to him, but he was finally beginning to understand it for real. He suddenly felt a lot better, his frustrations slowly falling away away.

"Thank you, Knight Reus. I think you've just made me realise something I should've figured out ages ago." He said, "I'll give it another try."

He turned back to Gree, flashing a quick smile in the Weequay's direction. Gree returned the gesture - he was clear to proceed.

Lucien placed his hands on the bruised leg once more, closing his eyes. Before reaching out to the Force he meditated on Knight Reus' words once more. He recognised all the little distractions that ate away at his concentration earlier, and he accepted them - they would be there as he tried to heal the Weequay and that was ok. He gave himself over to the Force, breathing deeply and letting it work through him.

"Lucien!" The Weequay snapped him out of his trance, "it's all better, thank you, friend!"

Lucien opened his eyes to see unblemished skin where the bruise was before, only then realising the toll his act of healing had taken on his energy levels. He grinned. It was a lot harder than it looked.

Ty smiled when everything was coming together, it's a heartwarming feeling. When Knight Aureud @Vicc125 came over, he seemed really appreciative. The Justicar would return the feeling. "No problem. Thank you, that means a lot to me." he nodded and smiled sincerely, meaning. it. "And thank you again for taking the time to be here. And do not worry, there will always be learning opportunities, Padawan, Knight, or Master. You're great." he grinned. After all, no one knows everything.

After encouraging Lucien, it looked like he was reflecting on what was said, digesting what was said, but then he felt that Lucien @Lucien had his euruka moment. The mental lightblub shining and they made their realization. "You'll do great! Break a leg" As they say on the show business, he didn't mean that literally of course. He would watch over Lucien, and soon, Lucien would do it, he got it, he healed the patient. Reus would clap "Good job Knight Adami. Good job. I knew you could do it" complementing the Knight.

Alright then, the patients have been tended too, the residents have learned and demonstrated they can do the power. With that their lesson is done here. Ty would then turn to the staff member beside him and then thank her quietly. "Thank you for allowing these young Jedi to become residents for the day, I appreciate you."

Ty would then turn his attention to face the Jedi "Alright Residents, ya'll done great work. We are almost done with today's class. Patients thank you for helping us. I appreciate you" he would bow to them in respect. The patients would give thank yous and waves at the Jedi. "Ta ta for now" he would smirk towards the patients, then he would then usher his residents of the room when they are ready to part ways.

Once everyone is ready, he would then go towards the lobby again, and giving off some quick notes about Force Healing.

"As we are heading towards the end of our lesson. Just some pointers:"

One "Force Healing does not completely supplant normal medical procedures. It does not replace it, but it can compliment it. Like for example if someone that has surgery that has some painful after effects, Force Healing can be used to sooth it. The Jedi Medical Corps by the time of the Clone Wars had some advanced medical equipment despite the power existing.

"Next, Force Healing can be used to neutralize poisons and toxins in one's body. Lets say someone gets a venomous spider bite, I can use Force Healing to purge the toxin away."

"And lastly, in a combat situation, Force Healing takes a lot of focus and concentration, it will leave you open and vulnerable to attacks. My advice, don't use it in the middle of a fight."
Unless they would make themselves a ripe target anyway.

Now they reached the main lobby, where they started. "Well, there we are, Force Healing" he concluded "I hope that this has been a good lesson to you and hope this will come in handy at some point." he chuckled and smiled. "Anyways, before we wrap this up, did anyone have any questions?" he would ask with his expression turning stern. If they had questions about the power, this is the time.

Tending to Fergus without the use of the Force gave Arctus more than enough of a breather to realize that he probably didn't have the fuel to attend to other patients. As much as he wanted to continue the middle-aged man beside him further engaged the former smuggler in small talk. Feeling grateful grateul instead of offended that he and his patient practically swapped roles, the Padawan spent the last minutes of the lesson speaking to Fergus until Knight Reus began to conclude the class.

Parting with his third and final patient, Arctus rose from his seat and politely excused himself. Approaching the gathered Jedi, he followed after them as the Justicar led them back to the lobby where the Knight began to tick off additional notes with regards to Force Healing.

It was all very informative, with the Knight teaching them hands on and letting them experience applying the skill – power, ability? The terminology still got him lost sometimes – themselves. While Arctus expected failure on his first try he had shockingly surprised himself. The success was a win in and of itself, and helped the Padawan gain more confidence in his growing skills as a Jedi. And while it was obvious that he still had a lot to learn, he didn't let himself balk at the challenges set before him.

A'ight, enough introspectin' for now. Still, you did a great job. You're proud, aren't you? And humbled by it?

He sure was.

The Padawan politely raised a hand at chest level at Ty's query about questions. The Knight had already explained the pros and cons of Force Healing, and while Arctus already saw first hand the pros he wanted to learn more about any other side effects or disadvantages with using Force Healing.

"Er, actually, I got one concern– I mean, question," Arctus began, swiftly correcting himself as he focused on the Justicar. "Are there any other disadvantages when it comes to using Force Healing? I mean, the advantages are glaringly obvious." Suddenly feeling somewhat of an a-hole, the Padawan added a hasty "'m sorry," then continued before he could say anything stupid again. "Aside from it being quite draining when we're not careful when using it, and it being a no-go in the middle of a fight because it required ample focus and concentration?"

Wilvick gave Ty Reus a respectful bow, "right you are. A Jedi's learning is never done."

Padawan, Knight, Master- it was all the same. The mysteries of the Force eluded them all. If these were his first fumbling steps onto the path of understanding that which bound the galaxy together, then he would take them gladly, and without complaint. Perhaps, Wilvick thought, he needed to lower his standards for himself. To stop feeling unworthy of his title, and simply embrace the fact that he still had much to learn.

He set about to a second patient, this one with just a rash on their back. Healing this would was far easier, and didn't leave Wilvick feeling like he needed to sit down. It was still tiring, though he supposed that Force Healing was going to wear him out, until he'd practiced more. So be it.

When Ty called for their "class" to come together, Wilvick joined silently. He listened as the more experienced Knight told them the draw backs of this new power, and how and when they could properly apply it. It seemed succinct and to the point: don't heal someone while getting shot at, or stabbed, and be creative with its use.

He had no further questions, but chose to listen as Arctus asked his own.

Lucien beamed at the praise from Knight Reus - it was doubly meaningful after his initial struggles. Although he might not necessarily succeed in his next attempt at healing, it didn't matter. It was a proof of concept and that was huge for the young Jedi Knight. Who knew where he'd go from here? He could travel from planet to planet helping the sick and needy. That'd earn some renown! No, maybe not. Seeking fame and clout wasn't exactly the Jedi way... What about opening his own clinic? He allowed the possibilities to run wild as he followed the rest of the group back to the lobby. Maybe it had gone to his head a little bit.

Padawan Friers raised a question that got him thinking about the various applications of Force healing. Lucien would wait for their instructor to answer before raising a question of his own.

"First of all, thank you for your capable instruction today, Knight Reus. It's inspiring to see what we were able to accomplish under your guidance." Was he laying the flattery on a little too thick? Ah, who cares, Lucien had spoken what he felt and that's all that mattered. "Anyway, I had a question if I may. While it's clearly effective against cuts and bruises, and I imagine, even more serious wounds - can Force Healing relieve damage of a non-physical nature? I haven't been a Knight for very long, but even I've seen a fair few hurting souls and broken hearts out on my missions - trauma, grief, abandonment, depression..." He trailed off - surely the point had been made.

"Fair question, you're right the disadvantages have already been said of the power have already said, requires to user to give lifeforce, is draining, requires lots of concentration. There are still limits to the power, as Force Healing can not regrow lost limbs and although the power can heal bad wounds, it still can not resurrect the dead. It's not a cure-all heal-everything thing." he answered. So, they better not be getting their limbs cut off or dying. For the latter they can always get a prosthetic replacement for the former, but dying, they ded.

Aureud abstained from asking a question. That's fine.

The one question prompted by Lucien was also a good question. Ty talked about the physical expects of the power, but the true is that Force Healing only deals with that, it can't address mental or emotional wounds. Ty would nod at the compliments, appreciative. "Unfortunately, Force Healing cannot heal non-physical wounds. That's beyond the ability of the power." Ty would then scratch his head "I'm not aware of any power that can heal mental or emotional damage. That would be a difficult problem to tackle. That is something you would have to go a Master or Councilor with in private." Ty isn't for sure if such a thing is out there, after all he's only a Knight as well

With that, Ty would check his chrono, with that it is that time. The Knight-Justicar would then look towards the students of the day and smile. "Well, that's the end of our lesson. Hope you all learned a lot and will put this all to good use. Residents... Jedi. Thank you" he would do one last showman's bow, and then show them to the exit. WIll any of the Jedi become dedicated healers, pursing healing first and foremost? Maybe. Will they apply the power whenever the need arises? Probably. But Ty feels that this was very fun and productive and he has good vibes about these Jedi. Not every Jedi can use the power like they did regardless.

"Class dismissed" he said.
