Jade stepped off the ship just as the doors opened. Listening she gave a nod, glad that the sounds had seem to have gone to normal routine. She tipped her head towards, Rex, her companion and chuckled. "Come on, they won't bite."

She picked up on the familiar aura of an old friend. "Hello, Master." She said to the Jedi with a nod. "How's everyone here doing?"

Rex walked down The Swift's exit ramp and stood warily off behind Jade, staring at the Jedi stranger approaching them. It wasn't the stranger that bugged him. It wasn't even the fact that The Swift had it's first mechanical issues on the cruise here to Ilum. It was the sensation of not belonging. He wasn't a Jedi, and still had vivid childhood memories of his Ithorian guardian telling tales of the Jedi Knights. In these stories, the planet was always a sacred place. But here he was, a scoundrel, standing on the surface of what to him was legend. But he trusted Jade.

Jade's pet, Night Eyes, crept down out of the starship to stand at Rex's heels.
"Come on, they won't bite."

Rex shook his thoughts away, and went to stand at Jade's side.

Jade held on to Night Eye's harness as she smirked at Rex.

Not knowing how to break the awkwardness of the moment, Rex offered a hand forward to Jedi Jade had called "master."

"Rex. Rex Andarre. And you are...?"
