Good evening! As spring approaches, one thing that people often begin to think about is spring-cleaning. It gives you a sense of change, where you think that it’s time to be out with the old and in with the new. The Star Wars RP is no different. Although we recently announced a time skip, it’s my pleasure to announce something different, something that will ensure that this site lasts for a very long time.

To secure the future of this site, we will be shifting away from our Star Wars focus. We will no longer be The Star Wars RP, but rather The TuTu Consortium. After seeing my sister, who is a ballet dancer, dance for several years, it’s occurred to me that ballet and dance is an incredibly rich topic that we can discuss and role-play. Rather than RPing big galactic battles, we can now RP more mature and sophisticated stories: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty are a few obvious ones. We could even do our own interpretations of films, such as Black Swan and Step Up 2: The Streets.

Although it will take a few days to set up the boards for The TuTu Consortium (thus giving you a few days to wrap up your Star Wars stories), we have put up a new banner and skin color to reflect the new theme of the website. Our very own Empress Adena created the banner and logo, and I think she did a fantastic job.

We’ll have more information for you over the next few days, since I know you have a lot of questions. For now, feel free to start thinking up your new ballet characters. Enjoy the new site!
