Two things, one how do you apply for FL? And two, who do I submit suggestions to?

1) There's going to be a thread for it. We'll announce it.
2) You can send them to me, or any member of the think tank/staff.

You can submit suggestions to anyone on the list on the first post of this thread.

As for faction leaders, we won't have applications for that until the end of the think tank's planning period.

EDIT: At least, I think that's when FL applications take place.

And just to re-emphasize so it's still clear, the think tank will not be involved in the applications or the selection of faction leaders. Think tank members can certainly apply for faction leader positions, but that's the extent of their involvement in faction leader suggestions.

We do this because being a faction leader involves moderator rights.

What exactly are you folks having trouble with? It seemed like you had a decent base to build from in the write up.

"Hit the ground running" means we're off to a great start, so you should send in your ideas sooner rather than later before they're no longer needed.

Seriously? It means completely the opposite here. That's extremely odd.

I forward an idea I had to Nexxy awhile ago. Awhile ago as in several days ago. Beyond that one, I'll brainstorm some and see if I can think of any improvements.

Really? o_O

I can't think of any other meaning than took off really fast.

Yeah, it implies ''you thought you were prepared but you dived in head first and weren't actually prepared'' kind of thing, you hit the ground running.

That is very odd.

So faction leader applications will be avaliable after the think tank do all the work?

We do this because being a faction leader involves moderator rights.

I was never a fan of this reasoning. Due note that I completly understand wanting to pick someone respectable if they will have mod powers, but story wise... if someone not... responsible enough for the powers somehow gained control of a faction through the RP, that presents a small issue.

You can take over the faction IC and not actually receive mod powers. It's just never come to that before. If you've gotten yourself to a position where you can, say, kill the faction leader and take their place, there's a really good chance that you're responsible enough for it.

Remember that this is an entirely different scenario than someone taking over IC. Faction leaders are chosen this way when a) a timeline begins or b) there's a vacancy during a timeline and there aren't other time efficient and reasonable means of choosing someone ICly.

New timeline time. Whooo...

Must be an Irish thing. Across the Irish Sea here in England it definitely means to have got off to a good start too...
