PERSONALITY

Hikaru is often very cool and collected, and is very, very strong-willed. He is the type who is often underestimated – the one who lags behind early in the race and then comes out of nowhere to win. Although very independent, with a preference for going solo, he can be a team player when required. Most times, he is very compassionate, which is unusual for a Sith. He is like this, simply because he believes in mercy; Hikaru's attitude towards the other factions is that, while they tried their best, they failed. Failed to control what they were given by the will of the Force. Hikaru understands that people are more likely to do what you want if they trust you, so he tries to avoid forcing submission by fear. In battle, Hikaru's style is very aggressive, and he has an uncanny ability to focus completely during such times especially. While he does believe in mercy, he will kill the dangerous when necessary.

ABILITIES

Hikaru was raised since birth a Sith, and as such has received years of training in the Force, in lightsaber combat, and in other aspects. An expert in telekinesis, Hikaru can move almost anything with the Force. His uses of Force speed, jump, and strength augmentation are extraordinary, giving him the ability to use his aggressive Djem So in a devastating capacity. One of his parents a Sith Alchemist, the other a master of lightsaber and hand-to-hand combat, some of his more advanced abilities include a precise and powerful Djem So, dozens of martial arts disciplines (primarily Echani and Teras Kasi), as well as great control in powers such as Force Sight, Precognition, Force Drain, Dominate Mind, Force Horror, and Corruption.

BACKGROUND

Long ago, Hikaru was born to a pair of Sith that were well-trained in their respective arts. His mother was a Miralukan Sith Alchemist, and his Sith Warrior father an Echani with a lifetime of training in the ways of combat. Raised on Korriban, Hikaru was taught in both of his parents' fields of expertise since before he could speak. Once he could pick up a lightsaber, he was taught a style that would suit him well later in life. Having spent his first twenty years training under his parents, Hikaru excelled. Soon, however, he was recognised as odd. His compassionate attitude towards other people, his happiness, and his general goodness made him stand out.

When he was accepted into the Order as an acolyte, he was constantly sent to commit acts of terror against ordinary people, in the hopes to break his good spirit. However, his goodness was the one thing the Sith couldn't take from him. Near the completion of his training, Hikaru's parents were executed for reasons unknown to him. They even tried to kill him, but thanks to his training, Hikaru came out on top. Throughout his battles, he'd killed so many people that were dangerous to him, that he was given the nickname Ausar. Many missions later, through several more massacres, and another number of attempts at his life, Hikaru was reluctantly given the title of Sith. Hikaru believes that the only reason behind this is simple; the Brotherhood needs more skilled members that are loyal to the cause, and he fit the bill.

No, the arming swords were a combination of vibrosword and lightsaber, but the Force Sword is a legit thing. I'd link you to the Wookieepedia article but I'm on mobile rn; basically a Force Sword is a regular sword that is made through an intense process of force use and sword-crafting. It has the ability to cut through metals, and is LS-resistant, and it was the main weapon of Force Users before lightsabers.

I have a question about your character if you don't mind me asking:

How does your character reconcile Sith teachings with his compassion/mercy/goodness? Or does your character not really believe in Sith teachings and simply serves them out of obligation?

That's a good question, I guess I'll put it in the profile when I get the time. I think the answer would be closer to the one you gave, where he serves out of obligation. But, I'd also say it isn't complete rejection of the teachings, as it's more of him understanding that the power given by the dark side is necessary in most cases of force use/combat.
