Gopsthal, Woostri

There were many technological marvels scattered across the Galaxy, but the planet of Woostri was unique in the scale of its technological magnificence. While much of the planet was covered by water, the few cities littered across its surface were entirely automated, every aspect of life on the planet controlled by a central computer located on the capital city of Gopsthal. The planetary power grid, traffic control, even planetary defense, it was all automated, and all accessible from one central computer. Ashla didn't much care about any of that, but she did care about the planet's automated manufacturing capacities, and the wealth of knowledge that sat in the Woostri HoloScan Database.

But as important a target as the planet was for her plans, she knew she could not infiltrate the central hub on her own, or hack something quite so complicated. She needed a special dataplague, which had been easy enough given the greater resources and authority at her disposal since her promotion, and she needed another pair of hands. Someone subtle enough to handle such a mission without bringing the entire planetary defense force on their heads. Thankfully she had worked with such an individual not too long ago, and reached out to him to help her out in this matter.

Waiting in the small apartment that she had purchased under an alias and wiped clean to ensure no listening devices blew their cover, she waited for her contact to arrive.

Ryujin watched as the clouds drifted past the canopy of his starship, the slow approach to the ground was in vast contrast to the blistering speed he had flown around the system. The joy of flying a starcracft to the limit was one of the few the Inquisitor could enjoy even on a mission such as this. The floating city of Gopsthal appeared beneath him, dozens of automated transports and shuttles coming and going in orderly lines reminding him of soldier ants defending their home.

The docking process was pretty straight forward, the ship was registered as civilian from The Core so little to no checks were carried out on him or the ship. With only a blaster on show, (his lightsaber discreetly hidden in his backpack.) Ryujin passed security and headed on his way through the streets to his destination.

Holding the Holo in his right hand he wound his way through the dimly lit back alleys until he reached the apartment he had been told to meet at. Before he knocked on the door he steadied himself, he knew who the Acolyte no Champion was expecting today and well it was and wasn’t him.

Ryujin had worked with Ashla before, the then Acolyte had helped him track down a defecting general from the Empire. She had apparently seen his skills and as such asked for his help in her own mission. But Lord Inquisitor Tyrael had not seen the mission as worth the Inquisitorius’ time and limited resources. As such Susanoo was not sanctioned for the mission. Luckily that did not mean Ryujin could not go, he was due some time off anyway so why not help the young women out.

Knocking on the door he called out. “Hey it's Ryujin, I forgot the secret password.”

Ashla put aside her datapad, eyes furrowing at the words that followed the greeting. She was expecting an Inquisitor, and whoever was outside was most definitely not that. But, regardless of who he was, he knew she was here, unless by some remarkable co-incidence it was someone else who meant to be at a secret meeting but was at the wrong door. No, she needed to figure out who it was, and why they were here.

Walking up to the door, pulling out a blaster but keeping it hidden behind her back, she cautiously opened the door. Just a smidge at first, so that she could see who was outside, and seeing and sensing no one but him she pulled it open further.

"Do I know you? Who do you want?"

She kept the questions short, to the point, sometimes even with questions you could share more than you intended. She was playing this the only way she could given how important this mission was in the grand scheme of things, cautiously.

His holo in his hand he checked the address one more time, before switching it off and placing it in his back pocket. Ryujin could feel Ashla moving within the little apartment, coming to the entrance with some hesitancy, which was to be expected considering ‘who’ was at the door. Ryujin turned around to check to make sure no one was around, he doubted anyone would recognise either his or Ashla’s face. But you could never be too safe when trying to take over a planet.

As it cracked open he saw the signature Togruta’s face appear in the gap and he smiled. “A mutual friend, Susanoo sent me.” He replied, trying to be as cryptic as the Sith Champion was to him. “May I come in?”
