So for the past ten minutes or so, I've been attempting to upload a new GIF avatar. It's not working out.
I know the requirements read
So, I'd like to point out the "or" and "whichever is smaller" parts. The image is exactly 135x190, as per the requirements, but naturally the file size is a bit larger. I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting what the note about avatar size is trying to tell me or what. It keeps informing me that the remote file size is too big (when I attempt to link it via URL), and it also says it's too big when I attempt to upload it from my computer.
For reference, the current file size of the avatar I'm trying to upload is 135x190, 455kb. I've also tried 135x188 and some other obscure sizes, but my only guess is that I need to shrink the actual file size a bit more for it to actually work.
Are GIF avatar standards different than, say, JPEG or PNG? Not a pressing matter, considering that I'm still messing around with it to try and get it to work. I just thought I would see if I could get some clarification on the subject, since I didn't have any real issues uploading my current one before.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 135x190 or 19.5kb (whichever is smaller).
