Avero's main skills lie in technology. Having advanced training in such matters, he can take apart almost any noncomplex piece of tech and put it back together in half the time it took him to take it apart. When it comes to more advanced machinery, it takes long to fix it, or take it apart, but he is still able to. Apart from his skills with machines, Avero is very strong and as such is an excellent lightsaber duelist.

STRENGTHS: Avero's strengths lay in his technological prowess, his lightsaber skills, and his ability to learn quickly, often only having to watch a holocron for a few hours before commiting it's contents to memory.
WEAKNESSES: Avero is headstrong and stubborn, and often questions why he must do something. This has led to a number of disputes with his Jedi Trainers, and he was sent before the council many times.

A green training lightsaber. (Avero secretly modified this traing saber with a power adjustment switch, allowing him to make his saber as deadly as a Jedi Knight's)

PERSONALITY:
Avero is the epitome of what a Jedi should be, most of the time. He remains calm, collected, compassionate, and diplomatic. But if he is goaded into a fight, that persona melts away as fast as Ice on tatooine. He becomes, reckless, agressive, and headstrong. This behaviour is always marked by a trip to the council's chambers, or a trip to the medical center. And has been the downfall of many situations where diplomacy could have been an alternative to violence.
HISTORY:
Avero Nevari was born to Kirika and Joeseph Nevari, who were slaves to a hutt named Gomma. When Avero got older, he too was to become Gomma's slave. And on his fifth birthday, he was deemed old enough to serve Gomma, and began what would seem to be a lifetime of slavery. Even as a five year old, Avero showed considerable mastery over the force for a child his age. He had just enough of a grip on his force powers that he could cause glass to shatter without touching it. This was a source of great amusement for Avero. Especially when Gomma had guests. However, one day this little stunt backfired. He imploded the glass of another force sensitive. The person recognized the signs of a force technique and was able to pinpoint it's source, Avero. The man drew his vibroblade, and swung. Just as the blade was about to collide with Avero, his father moved in the way and was killed. Kirika screamed, as as a result was shot and killed by a Twi'lek with a blaster. Upon his mother's death, Avero's anger, and force energy, spiked. He lost all control over his force powers, and unknowingly, and unwillingly, used them to kill the vibroblade weilding man, and the Twi'lek with the blaster. Then, as he rounded on Gomma, the surge of force energy stopped, and Avero collapsed to the floor, unconcious, but alive. Gomma, terrified of the young force sensitive, scheduled his execution.
For a fortnight, Avero was locked in a cell with no food or water, and on the day of his execution, was led up to a platform in front of all of Gomma's collegues, slaves, and others. And as the heavy gammorean war axe descended on his neck, there was a flash of green light and the axe, and it's holder, was stopped cold. A jedi knight sent on a mission to negiote with Gomma had been in the crowd around the execution platform, and sensing Avero's massive force potential, saved him. Unfortunately, this caused the crowd around the Jedi and Avero to converge on them with muderous intent. The Jedi struck the crowd down almost easily, and then asked Avero if he would go with him to the Jedi temple. Avero agreed instantly, and went away from the hellish world of tatooine to the Jedi temple on Coruscant. He was brought before the council, were Avero's Jedi rescuer argued fiercely that Avero be allowed to stay at the Jedi temple and learn to control his force powers. Reluctantly, the council agreed. And Avero became a Jedi. For the next seventeen years of his life, Avero lived and trained in the Jedi Temple, under the watchful eye of the Jedi council, who were aware of Avero's emotions, and his potential. He became an excellent practicioner of the Fifth Form of Lightsaber Combat, the form known as Shien. And his ability to learn quickly greatly aided in his force training. Apart from the most basic of Jedi skills, Avero became proficient in the knowledge of technology, and showed this by making several diagrams of a hyperdrive purely from reading their specifications. And as fate would have it, these simple drawings were 98% accurate. Hologram technology was also a favorite of Avero's. He looked long and hard for a way to make holograms at least semi-solid, but has not yet succeded in this particular endevour. Avero was sent on a number of training missions. Not all of them diplomatic. And had succeeded in nearly all of them. Save for the missions that he let his temper get the better of him. Avero now trains and awaits the day that he becomes a full Jedi Knight, a guardian of peace in the galaxy, and hopefully one who can prevent what happened to him from happening to another.
