Born on Coruscant to a military family. Mother is still a Scientist working for the Alliance. Father was an admiral; has been MIA for ten years. Presumed KIA, honoured with medal for bravery at his funeral service. Avis showed an aptitude for piloting at a young age and was enrolled in the academy immediately. Excelled with starfighters, showing high intelligence and quick thinking. Initially put forth as a future candidate for Rogue Squadron. However, on her first training mission at CLASSIFIED, she was captured by the Empire. See attached incident report. Pending review of this file, her application will be sent to Rogue Squadron for consideration.

Subject returned missing right eye, left arm, left leg - evidence in blood suggests drug involvement intended to keep subject awake as her limbs were slowly crushed. Upon further investigation, leak concluded to be planted to facilitate POW #157-ZGH673097's release. POW still at large. See attached file. Subject cleared of suspicion. Subject has shown large amounts of anger towards the empire and grief over memories of the torture she was put through. Through counselling and medication, she has stabilized significantly. Had a strong desire to fly again. See attached dialogue excerpt. Recommended she be cleared for active duty if she strictly follows her medication regiment.

Avis Strahl (AS): How do I feel? I don't know. Depends how you mean. At the moment, I feel fine. Normal, or at least as normal as I have since I woke up with these new parts.
PSY: That's understandable. Most who go through torture like you have develop a strong hatred for their torturers. Usually so much so that they lose all discipline in combat against them. Do you think you will experience this?
AS: Are you asking me if I hate them? Of course I do. They crushed - they hurt me. Worse then I could bear. But I'm a military girl. Discipline is all I have. In combat, I'd be fine. Because without discipline, I wouldn't be able to kill the bastards.
PSY: I see. You mentioned that the torture was more then you could bear. Did you give in to their demands and tell them what they wanted to know?
AS: I've been cleared of those charges.
PSY: I know, and this is confidential, you know. I'm asking you, confidentially, what happened.
AS: No. I didn't tell them anything. But they also didn't ask me anything. They just hurt me.
PSY: Does the name Ralon Dranth mean anything to you?
AS: Yeah. He's the guy they traded for me. I looked him up. A murderer and a Psychopath.
PSY: And him being loose makes you feel...?
AS: Angry. And guilty. It's like... Every person he kills is my fault. If it weren't for me, he's still be rotting in a prison somewhere. It's hard.

Known crimes: Piracy, smuggling, murder. Known for his MO of attacking poorly defended civilian ships. Rarely takes survivors. Human male, age 37. Psych evaluation shows him to be a Psychopath. Extremely dangerous.
Combat skills have been re-evaluated. Cybernetics have proven to be an asset in almost every test. Subject shows excellent proficiency with blaster pistols and carbines when held with her cybernetic arm. Coordination with the subjects cybernetic eye has made her aim nearly impeccable, though her reaction time is only average for a human. The implants have proven a boon in her piloting skills as well, the cybernetics engineered with space flight in mind by CLASSIFIED. The eye offers a HUD with real-time readouts of enemy ships and tracks their trajectory even when not in visible range, as well as offering other modes of vision not normally accessible by humans. (Infrared, limited X-Ray, black light, heat, magnification). The arm offers vastly superior strength to a humans and has been modified to be able to react to small motions instantly. This has hampered reaction time for larger motions like drawing a blaster but has proven a valuable asset during flight.
