DESCRIPTION​

The AZC Carbonate Rifle was a weapon capable of shooting in a liquid-carbonate mixture that was able to temporarily freeze or incapacitate the body part of an individual.

The rifle was composed of a durasteel alloy, along with two carbonate nano fiber tubes that pumped the liquid mixture from the canister into the weapon. The carbonate rifle runs purely off of electricity, and thus must be recharged after use. Typically it would have to be recharged after one full canister, 40 fl oz worth of liquid carbonate. Within the main body of the rifle rests a motorized water pump. When the user fires the gun by pulling the trigger, water is forced through check valve into the pump. As the piston is pushed in it decreases the cylindrical volume inside the gun, which forces the liquid carbonate out through the nozzle.

The canisters for the AZC Carbonate rifle are custom made by Azura Systems, but they can be refilled by anyone anywhere. When purchased the rifle comes with two canisters, one being a spare in case the main is destroyed.

The AZC Carbonate Rifle has its many drawbacks. The weapon is unable to be modified and naturally comes with an iron sight. The accuracy of the carbonate stream is subpar due the liquids nature and how easily the environment can affect its usefulness. The mixture is also unable to freeze targets as effectively as the 'normal' methods of carbonate freezing. It takes prolonged contact in order to effectively freeze a part. However, the frozen area may thaw within 5-10 minutes depending on the length of exposure and environment.

RESTRICTIONS​

The carbonate gun is unable to kill, and unable to fully freeze someone. A victim is also unable to be "smashed" into pieces as if they were a block of ice. The carbonate gun doesn't cause any other side effects that come w/ carbonate 'hibernation' such as blindness or carbonate poisoning. (For PVP or PVE these specific restrictions may be lifted w/ consent from the member being killed or the DM if it's PVE.)

The carbonate rifle may not be modified in any way.

@AutoFox It doesn't shoot in shots, the trigger can be held down for a constant spray. I'm kinda imagining a flamethrower but just cold liquid and not fire liquid. I'll specify that in the post if you're ok with it working like that.

I would specify how many seconds of continuous fire a canister will provide. That's how our two flamethrowers are written up.
