The supply ship known as Odin's Spear landed on Cyrillia on the Commonwealth outpost near the Imperial Knights base. Kael Tavlek had approved of supplies to be sent, and Odin's Spear held those supplies.
Captain Barrel and one of Triumvir Haven's 'employees,' Marl Odeff, oversaw the unboarding of the supplies. First was the food, then the water, then the technology. During the transition between the water and technology, Marl entered the Odin's Spear and headed for the communications room. Marl typed in a code on his comlink, causing the vials of hidden Blue Shadow to be released. Five vials worth were already outside, in the food and water, infecting those nearby and soon anyone else, including the areas nearby. Whether the Imperial Knights got infected depended on whether ventilation would stop it.
Those inside the ship were infected too, as two vials were in the ventilation ducts. Marl headed to the communications room unharmed. Marl tossed a grenade into the communications room before running off to the engine room. At the engine room, Marl dentonated every explosive on him, incinerated in an inferno that would cripple Odin's Spear.
