DESCRIPTION
A full modification kit for the BA-20 pistol, this upgrade turns the slim pistol into a full-size carbine with very little effort.The stock is slid and locked on via a groove on the grip's back, the barrel is removed and replaced with the new assembly, and any preferred rifle sights are added atop. Galven circuitry and blaster-gas chambers increase the range and cohesion of the bolts up to an astounding 150m. Extended cooling systems along the barrel keep it from overheating, although the ribbed section does get hot and users are recommended to keep their hands on the underbarrel section or attach a secondary forward grip.
Once all the pieces are locked in place it proves to be abundantly durable, and by its very nature easy to clean and maintain. Advertised to the ISC as the go-to solution for their Rangers and security who need more range in a pinch, repeated testing has proven that Bacrana Arms follows through on its word.
While not the most common set up for full military personnel, it's not unseen for officers who prefer this over heavier rifles. Much more often one will find them in the hands of ISC Rangers in hostile territory hunting criminals on the run. The pistol and modification parts can all be kept together in a small suitcase for carrying, if needed.
LEGALITY
Legal. Ownership of blaster carbines is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.INTENT
