Gren froze and stopped short on the ramp of the civilian freighter, blocking the way for a moment as she gazed down through the opening at the busy street. Her plan, it had just hit a major snag that she had completely forgotten to consider. The Sullustans, she'd forgotten just how....tiny they could be, heck if she remembered correctly, even the tallest wouldn't make it up to her shoulders. How the heck was she going to blend in and look inconspicuous when she was the tallest thing around? Gren gulped as she watched a small child and its mother slowly come wandering by, the child staring with wide eyes and craning its head around to continue staring at her as it was dragged by. Yup, blending in was definitely going to be a no go. This was going to look just amazing on her report, and for her first mission lead in a while too.
About to sigh and give the wall a good whack out of self frustration, Gren's last thought finally struck her and she stopped mid action as the implication hit home. Slowly, guiltily, Gren glanced behind her at her partner, a Nautolan initiate, young, inexperienced, and very dependent on her in this situation Taking a short calming breath, Grem shoved away every little doubt and frustration she'd just developed, recomposing herself into what she hoped was a strong confident Knight. Pulling her cloak tightly about her, concealing her armor and weapons, all her usual gear, she turned to the younger Jedi with a smile. "Well Nak, are you ready to go? From here on out its a straight shot to the target, and things might heat up without warning. Do you have any last minute questions?"
Honestly, Gren didn't approve of her partner choice, not in the slightest. Sure she liked the kid, even if she didn't like some of his principles, and she had no right to criticize someone fighting at a young age. Surely he was going to make a wonderful Jedi one day. But this, a secret mission of this magnitude? Nak was just to young and inexperienced for it, and probably not the right match for a stealth mission of all things. Heck, SHE probably wasn't a good match for the mission, her being a seven foot Barabel who normally charging headfirst into the thick of battle. It was the Council's will however, so here she was, doing her duty as ordered. And she would do her best to support and guide her young charge as well, trusting in the force to see everything come out alright.
