Param stopped with her, her silver eyes looking around for a moment to see why they stopped. It wasn't until Alice admitted to knowing Kai that Param realized it was to talk about him. She felt her heart sink a little. Alice was beautiful, and certainly knew how to talk to someone to get them going; that much she had seen already. Param couldn't help but wonder if she had used the same tricks on Kai. She had to stop herself from wondering if they had worked.

"Yeah. He's fun," she said with a small smile. There was a bit of hesitancy in her voice. Param didn't know how much Kai would want her talking about him. She knew to not use his real name; the mirror on her ship was practically falling off the wall with how tired it was of hearing her gush about it. "Is he good?" she asked, following Alice. "At all this, I mean." She motioned around, implying the scene that Alice had spoken of.

The line for the nightclub was long, and Param stopped in the back of it, turning to Alice. A group of girls in skirts shorter than Param's, if that were even possible, skipped the line entirely and entered. Param looked to Alice for guidance, confusion on why some people got in without waiting and others didn't written over her face.

Param's demeanor immediately changed and it made Maeve curious. So did they have history, too? She soon told her that he was fun and Maeve's smirk widened. "Fun?", now that was an even more interesting reply. "Good?", oh she was close to blushing, she could see that. But what was their story? Maybe she'd find out.

"Ohh", she then clarified with her gesture what she meant, and a soft chuckle escaped her. "He's...cunning for sure. And efficient". There was no reason to sell him out, so she kept it rather vague. "And apparently, he's caused a little stir", she wiggled a brow as she carried on.

"How do you know him?", she curiously asked, not bothering voicing that question indirectly, but they were close to the club. Maeve's eyes then immediately started scanning the entrance, noticing the girl who were admitted in no time and she immediately gave Param an encouraging smile. "Okay that's our way in. So...you're confident to try the talking and learn on the go right away?", she asked her, slowing down and adjusting her dress.

The way Alice talked about Kai was vague, but not mean. Her last comment about causing a little stir made Param's cheeks flush. A stir was an understatement. The roller rink came to her mind, and then the heights he'd taken to her to afterwards. Her expression was blank despite the deep blush, her mind replaying that night as it had so many times since. Param was so lost in the thought she almost didn't catch Alice asking how Param knew him.

"Oh um..." Param started, not sure how to answer that. "We were after the same silly trinket." It wasn't wrong. The only time Kai had ever actually screwed her over, and it was over a holocron that she no longer even cared about. "We hang out sometimes... When we're both around."

Param followed Alice's eyes to the entrance, watching another girl get in without issue. Glancing back at Alice, Param nodded. "I think can," she said. Confidence in the way she looked was something she had. It was the seducing part she had issues with. As they approached the bouncer, the large man's eyes fixed on her. He stayed silent as she stopped, shifting her weight onto one hip, waiting for her to address him.

"Can my friend and I get in?" Param asked, biting her lip. The bouncer looked Param up and down, then Alice. With a jerk of his chin, he undid the gate blocking the way to the door. Param stepped through the door, stopping so that Alice could take the lead again. There were people crowding the hall, some of whom catcalled and whistled at them as they passed. She was just glad she was able to convince someone to let her in and she didn't even need the Force. A smile spread across her lips.

Maeve knew that face. She could read that absent look, the color that suddenly rushed to her cheeks and the confused, slow replies that followed. She was tiptoeing around the issue and the 'when we're both around part was hilarious. "You're banging, aren't you?". She wasn't surprised at all. Kodi was hard to get, but Param was adorable and Kodi was a real smoothtalker.

She was half expecting her to fully blush now and she waited for it with a mischievous smirk. As she was never one to cause drama, she obviously didn't disclose that she had also been involved in rather heated encounters with the crooked fluff. Maeve however immediately followed her, gently holding onto her arm as they approached the hrim looking bouncer.

Maeve was indeed quite proud of her, even though she would have been more assertive about it. It was a start though, she thought, and she gave the bouncer a little wink as she slipped in behind Param. "Okay so first we need a drink", she nudged her from the side, before she grabbed her hand again. "You've done well right now", she had to raise her voice accordingly, as the basses were loudly pounding inside. "Which drinks do you prefer?" Param needed to warm up more, so Maeve was hoping to lighten the mood with a drink.

One would think Param had her lightsaber with her and ignited with how red her face flushed. She'd never heard some one be so blunt about it. Though her bluntness raised a different question. Was she also "banging" Kai? Would it matter if she was? They couldn't settle down, even if Kai wanted to. It wasn't like he was hers. No, it wasn't the thought of Kai being with other girls that was the issue for Param; it was not being able to protect him.

"Mhmm," she hummed, nodding. It was all she could manage. If she tried to talk it would come out as a garbbled, embarrassed mess. It didn't help that she was heating up from thinking about the night she'd spent with Kai. Now she was here in a dress that left little to the imagination, about to be around a bunch of people of all shapes and sizes. It was not a good combination for her. As if the galaxy were piling things on top of Param, Alice also clung to her arm. Param was usually the one clinging to Kai's arm; it was one of her favorite places to be.

The drink offer was a blessing. Param gave a blushing, thankful smile to Alice. "Cocktails!" she said, her voice raised to counter-act the booming music. All the flashing lights and people moving threatened to over stimulate the echani. Nar Shaddaa was already a stark contrast to a garden, but this was even a contrast to Nar Shaddaa as a whole. She felt so small.

The light-skinned Echani turned even redder, her cheeks literally turning full crimson. Maeve was not one to phrase things indirectly, at least not if she wasn being genuienly curious, and here she was. She found it relatively amusing that she had stumbled upon an absolutely cute and seemingly pure soul and somehow there were ties to the Fiani.

"Mhm? Was it that bad?", she couldn't help but to tease while a playful nudge followed. Maeve was fairly certain he had given her the ride of her life, but she couldn't shake the feeling Param was in dire need of help when it came to her confidence. "I'm just teasing, don't worry", she gently patted her arm, giving her a rather encouraging smile.

Well, she could see it. So far she had seemed like the perfectly nice girl who wanted to expand her business, Kai absolutely had a soft spot for vulnerability, and she had such a pretty face. As she was absolutely a non drama kind of a person, she had a feeling that keeping her fingers of her was probably the smartest move though.

"Love it, let's go!", she eagerly led her towards the bar now, sliding inbetween two guys with her and scanning for the bartender. Param had grown much more silent and Maeve needed to boost her confidence right away if she wanted that to work, so she ordered them two fruity and sweet, yet relatively strong drinks.

As they waited for them to be prepared, she leaned over to Param, not wanting anyone to eavesdrop. "Okay, so I want you to keep an eye out for potential employees. Remember: We're not looking for he ttotally desperate, but muscle with not enough wit to ask too many questions and a hunger for payment. Also, charms will be our asset to lure them in in the first place". Her hot breath would graze her ears and the side of her neck. "Choose our first contact".

The holo-drama level of emotions that ran through Param when Alice asked if Kai had been bad would top the award charts. First was anger that she'd speak that way about him. Then was the embarrassment that if she corrected Alice it would give her even more insight into just how wrapped around Kai's finger Param was. She'd made it all the way through a myriad of other emotions she couldn't explain when Alice mentioned she was just teasing. Param's cheeks puffed out a little. Alice was toying with her.

"I could bang every guy on Nar Shaddaa and it wouldn't come close," she said with a coy smile. A blush still stayed on her cheeks, but if Alice wanted to see Param's confidence she had certainly found a way to get it. It felt a lot better to Param to get some little petty revenge than to fall into anger, anyway. Bad things always happened when she used anger to fuel her abilities and her thoughts. It was far more enjoyable this way.

The bar was crowded, but Alice managed to lead them to an open spot. Param took a large swig of the cocktail when it came out. It wouldn't be enough to even get her tipsy, not after the tolerance she had gained, but it was enough to settle the nerves. Param listened to Alice, searching the moving and dancing crowd with her silver eyes. There were so many people, so many options, but one caught her eye. A fairly muscled zabrak, one of the flesh colored ones. He was dancing with a green Twi'lek. Judging by how handsy he was being, Param guessed he had a one track mind.

Param jerked her chin toward him. "How about him?" she asked, taking another sip of her cocktail. Then a thought occured, and her cheeks flushed again, the confident defiance going back into hiding and leaving her cold. "I'm not going to have to go all the way with the contacts, am I?"

Maeve's smirk just widened as she suddenly praised him much more confidently. Has it been that good or was it a lack of experience? She couldn't argue her as she didn't share that particular experience with him, but she liked this bold version of her much more- it was just very curious that she had needed mentioning Kodi for that as well, which once again meant that their stories were still intertwined more than she often realized.

"Well, then he seems to have another area of expertise", she couldn't help but to chuckle as she raised her glass to clink glasses. They then moved to a place where they could drink and choose their first prospect in peace and Maeve amusedly watched Param down a big gulp right away. It was show time after all.

She studied the crowd casually and found a few guys who seemed just right, and Param settled on a really fitting victim. "Mr. Grindy-Pants looks perfect", she agreed with her, taking another sip, before she suggested, "why don't you lure him over?". Param was paying her, yet she wanted to learn, so Maeve thought direct practice was their best bet. As she suddenly asked whether they'd have to go all the way with them, she couldn't help but to chuckle.

"No...no no no. We're not looking the prostitute ourselves. We have to raise their curiosity and hire them afterwards. Playfully testing the water, but jumping back to business at the right time". Even if it would be easy to hook them with sex, it wouldn't ensure they'd actually work for them. They were looking for actual employees here, not toy-boys. She still looked at her expectantly, hoping she'd make her move.

Expertise was one way of putting it. Param couldn't imagine anyone being more attention and passionate. But it was time to work, not think about Kai. She smiled at Alice's use of the nickname "Mr. Grindy-Pants." He did seem to like to grind. Quite handsy with his grinding too. She was psyching herself up to fully seduce him, and failing. When Alice confirmed they would in fact, NOT, be going all the way, a sigh of relief escaped Param.

Param continued staring at the zabrak, sipping her drink. It didn't take long at all for him to catch a glimpse of her and start staring back, even as he ground on his girl. The echani gave him a playful smile, turning a quick glance to Alice. It was easy with Kai; he had that damned fanged grin that he hit her with. It made her melt every time. The thought made Param bite her lip, and inadvertently it was the last straw for the zabrak boy who began to approach.

"Oh, he's coming," she said. Her eyes told a story of panic as she looked to Alice for advice, but her face was still holding the playful smile she had given the man. Alice would have to be quick her advice though, Mr. Grindy-Pants didn't seem to want to take things slow. Even his walk held a confident swagger that, if Param hadn't locked her heart, would have her swooning.

Param had received her first 'learning on the go task' and while she somehow seemed ready to do it, it wasn't hard to tell it was hard to her. The dilated pupils and missing color in the pale cheeks that was soon replaced by a new hint of blush betrayed her nervousity. Still, she got through with it, sending the target just the right hints...

And so the Zabrak approached, literally pelvic thrusting as he walked, his hips wildly swinging. Was he perhaps a bit too much? They'd find out. Maeve would get rid of him quickly if he was. However, as soon as he turned to approach, she quickly leaned closer to Param.

"Flirt and toy with him a little to keep him hooked. He seems to be a quick affair type, so deceleration is key. Test the waters and see whether he'd be interested in a job then", she instructed before she leaned back again. She prepared to cut in if necessary, yet was relatively optimistic the subtly shy Echani benefitted from the alcohol in her system already.

The man was... pelvic thrusting. Param wanted to believe it was to the music, which it certainly was on beat, but she knew better than to trust that. Internally she prepared, running through all the things he could say, and how she would respond. It would be easy, she just had to channel her inner Kai, right? Except Kai was smooth and charming, while she was naive to a lot of things in the galaxy still and still ruined dinners.

Of course, the first thing the man said was "Hey," and then immediately started thrusting his hips into Param in some form what was supposed to be dancing. Not only was the one word greeting NOT what she had planned for, but the immediate grinding over stimulated her mind. Her cheeks burned bright red, as a nervous squeak escaped her.

She needed help, as her only form of retreat was to sit down on the stool which only made the zabrak's grinding worse. Param's panicked gaze turned to Alice. Her plea for help happening more through her eye contact than the tiny squeak that came from her lips.

The guy was absolutely disgusting before he even started speaking, but Maeve believed in her new found associate. She casually leaned back and took a sip, her eyes flicking between Param and the Zabrak. Param had gathered some confidence and determination was somewhat reflected in her gaze - until the Zabrak arrived.

His hips kept thrusting forward, apperently that was the only dance move he was capable off, and he wasted no second before thrusting into Param. Maeve raised a brow, truly wondering why he didn't stop pelvic thrusting, but as he started his full blown grinding, instead of doing something to strike up the needed conversation, Param froze like a deer in the headlights after a squeak escaped her.

Maeve almost choked on her drink as the performance almost started to turn into an unwanted lapdance and his advances just escalated. The scene was absurd and somewhat comical, yet what surfaced in Maeve was the immediate urge to help as it became unbearable to watch after two seconds. Param seemed utterly helpless and as this dude truly grossed her out, she got up right away.

"Hey there", Maeve didn't even realize that she was genuinely annoyed with the unhinged Zabrak for literally harassing Param and that she was genuinely growing protective of the innocent Echani. Maeve decided to sandwich the Zabrak shorthandedly, still thinking that even if he was a freaking jerk, he might be the right kind of person.

The second female on his body immediately made his eyes light up, and while he didn't leave Param alone right away, he was soon much more triggered by Maeve, who shamelessly grinded against him from behind, her ass and hips seductively moving to the music. Thus, he finally spun after another moment and finally gave Param some time to breathe while Maeve kept his attention on her. "You look like a man who knows what he wants...", she said to him, her voice pure silk. "Are you looking for work by any chance?".

Alice had saved her just in time. Param was entirely panicked heading right for a breakdown, but was finally saved. The moment the Zabrak turned around to face Alice, Param spun in the stool, grabbed both of their drinks and downed them both. It took a moment for the heat to hit her chest, and for the nerves to disappear, but she was back from the brink of breakdown and ready. A little bit- or a lot of in this case- liquid courage never hurt anyone, right?

She didn't act at first, choosing instead to watch the master seductress at work. Alice had only said a few words and moved her hips, and she practically had the zabrak eating out of the palm of her hand. "Depends on the work," the zabrak said, looking Alice up and down even as his hips kept thrusting. Did he have mechanic hips or something? Man just didn't stop! "And the payment."

Param didn't dare answer for Alice, wanting to see how it was done. Her trial by fire didn't go so well, and she was slightly afraid saying anything would bring his attention back to her. Param would have much rather avoided a death by pelvic thrusting if at all possible. It was then that a shadow loomed over Param. She turned her silver gaze to find a tall, well built devaronian with full horns glaring menacingly at the zabrak.

The man turned a softer gaze to Param. "He bothering you, miss?" Param flicked a wide eyed gaze from the devaronian, to the zabrak, to Alice, and then back, nodding her head silently. The devaronian tapped the zabrak who was half his size by the looks of things on the shoulder. "Buzz off, buddy." Param could practically smell the fear escaping the zabrak's rear end as they backed away from the girls with their hands up.

"Thank you," Param said, a smile returning to her lips despite her widened eyes. The devaronian shook his head.

"No need, miss. Overheard you needed someone for some work?"

It didn't escaped Maeve that Param through back the drinks like water, and she was already dreading the consequences. As she met the Zabrak's gaze again for now though, it quickly dawned her that the thrusting enthusiast was not what they were looking for, especially because it seemed like he was completely stuck with his motions...was it possible a stroke?

Maeve briefly pondered on her words while she let out a feigned amused chuckle. That was when the broad shouldered Devaronian arrived. It took Maeve a second to read him and instead of asking the Zabrak anything else, her features turned into disgust mixed with fear, thus playing along with Param instantly.

It soon turned out that their savior was just what they had been looking for instead, and so once the 'threat' had been dealt with, she slid back into her seat with an exhausted sigh. "Oh thank you...this had gotten out of hand", Maeve innocent replied even though she had been able to take out the Zabrak within seconds, too, but she was grateful Param's near breakdown had summoned the right kind of muscles.

"We do, actually", she acted slightly breathless and still fazed by this guy, but was pretending to slowly cam down. She gave
Param an encouraging smile, hoping her partner would elaborate on her business before the alcohol would hit her.

Param looked at Alice returning to the bar, her silver eyes doing all the what-the-fuck-was-that talking between them. A bartender brought over fresh drinks. "Sorry about your drink, I uh," Param paused, blushing a bit. "panicked." She stayed away from the drink the bartender slid to her. Getting sloshed was not on her agenda for the night. Gaining someone who could work for her, that was on her agenda though.

"I need someone that can run security," she said, turning to the devaronian. If her abilities as a Sith weren't what they were, Param would most definitely admit that he could toss her around and snap her like a twig. The man was a brick wall of muscle. The flush in her cheeks deepened when the question of if she could climb all over him made it from the uninhibited parts of her mind. Thankfully she didn't blurt it out. "Help to move some stuff too."

The large man stared at her silently for a moment, then turned to the bartender. "Ey, Seymour. Put 'em on my tab!" he yelled above the music, turning back to the girls once the bartender had nodded. "I got a place upstairs, let's go there. Can talk without a bunch of degens around." his dark eyes flicked to the Mr. Grindypants, who'd found a new girl to hip thrust into the sunset. Param followed his gaze, then shifted her eyes to Alice, mouthing without sound.

"Should we?"

Maeve immediately gave Param a nonchalant, yet amused shrug. As long as she wouldn't have to carry the Echani out of here all passed out, she could drink whatever she pleased and Maeve could indulge whenever she felt like it, too. After all, she didn't need additonal confidence from the booze. She mouthed a quick, "you're fine", before she focused on the conversation with their prospect.

Maeve was proud or Param managed to explain the job as it was obvious they weren't even offering anything shady. His kind gesture was another plus and Maeve began to feel like this guy was indeed the right person. She gave Param an approving nod before she studied the broad shouldered Devaronian again, however figuring he was all genuine so far.

"Thank you...and sure. Might be better". Maeve thus answered both questions and as she got up her posture was all relaxed. She knew how to read people and thus she received those fairly good vibes that made her feel comfortable enough to agree. She gave Param a reassuring glance before she reached for her hand and followed the muscled man with her.

Maeve had all weapons on her and trusted her reflexes were quick enough to real with the guy if needed, but this also meant their party night was interrupted for now and they'd have to scan his place carefully. Still, so far what he offered sounded promising and so she wasn't going to let such a chance pass.

As they walked, she kept shooting Param a gaze every now and then, prepared to softly run her thumb across the back of her hand in case she was beginning to freak out again, but for now they followed him towards the back exit that soon led them towards the staircase and up right after.

Param followed the devaronian, holding Alice's hand. The man's place was small. There was workout equipment on one side, and computer parts on the other. It was like the apartment was split right down the middle between two people. "Don't mind the mess," the man said, moving to the kitchen to pour himself a drink. When he returned he motioned for the girls to sit down on the couch. It was dusty, had crumbs all over it, and part of the cushioning was starting to spill out, but Param sat down any way.

"Brother leaves his nerd shit every where," he said, taking a sip of his drink. It was something without ice, and without being cut by anything else. "So, let's start with your names. Then we can get to what you need secured, and what you need moved." Param smiled, her face brightening. Finally, something easy to answer!

"I'm Param," she said. She waited for Alice to introduce herself before continuing. "I need some security for my tea shop, and I need my tea moved to new locations and clients by someone reliable."

"You want me to move tea?" the devaronian asked.

"Mhmm!" Param hummed excitedly. She glanced at Alice. "Real tea and spiced tea." The man looked to Alice, as if trying to confirm it.

"And you're her business partner?"

Maeve attentively kept scanning their surroundings as they walked. She hadn't drunk enough to keep her nerves fully soothed and the past had shown that even if someone intentions seemed genuine, they could be just as deceptive as hers.

As they reached the upstairs, it absolutely wasn't hard to tell that not just one, but most certainly two dudes lived here, but the accommodation was unassuming enough for her to sit without expecting a full blown assault. She watched his body language carefully while she feigned comfort, keeping a watchful eye out for Param as well.

The Devaronian was massive, and him facing the two short women most certainly looked hilarious from the outside, but he soon asked about the job they had to offer. Param seemed fully eased, but while Maeve mirrored her smile, she was still vigilant inside. "I'm Alice", she softly replied, assuming he had a badass name that fit his demeanor. "And you are?".

Maeve nodded when Param directly outlined the job and elegantly crossed her legs. "I am. We're offering a honest job for honest payment", she elaborated, once again analyzing his reaction. "Any chance you have some friends who are looking for a job as well?". He seemed fine enough, and that was hard to find here, so Maeve was wondering whether this offer could even be expanded.

The huge devaronian took a swig of his beverage. "Name's Bob. Brother is Evan. We're a package deal," he said gruffly. The simpleness of their names was lost on Param. She'd met many people of all sorts of names, some simple and some intricate. It was no different to her than hearing any other name. Though, now that she thought about it, she did know quite a few people with four and five letter names.

Param nodded with Alice's description of what they were offering. It would start legit, and maybe move into the underground portions of society and trade. For now, they'd start with working the The Garden Spot. She had a few xexto employees already, but she needed some that would help enforce her rule of "No fighting in the garden." A brick wall of a man would do the trick. Even better if he came with a brother.

"Just me and Evan," Bob answered Alice.

"What kind of compensation would you need?" Param asked, tilting her head. Bob thought about it, stroking his red chin with thick fingers.

"Twenty an hour, each."

"Hm," Param hummed, her mind thinking about the latest finance reports from the The Garden Spot. She'd have to let some of the xexto she hired go, and possibly replace a few with droids, but that could easily be done. "That seems okay," she said finally, turning to Alice. "What do you think, Alice?"

Bob. No way. Maeve literally bit her lip as he revealed their names. Was that an abbreviation for a long, complicated, exotic name? He didn't look like a Bob. Not at all, and Maeve found it hilarious. She focused on what he said next instead and hid her amusement behind a smirk that could mean all kinds of other things.

"Oh perfect...then I guess your brother is invited to join". It was good...she figured if he was the muscle packed hard-core gym rat, there was doubt in how his brother was a somewhat nerdier version of him, but most certainly just as manageable as him. Bob then stated his price and Maeve had to agree with Param right away - if they proved reliable, this wasn't a bad deal.

Maeve didn't know a lot about her finances, but as she agreed, she figured it was stable enough. If not, Maeve had assets, too, and if Param business was about to expand, she would definitely invest more than just some drugs. "I believe we've just gotten ourselves a deal", she extended a hand into Bob's direction, the smirk on her lips widening.
