Thalia had taken a detour to the grime filled world of Nar Shaddaa; it was your all-in-one-stop for anything one could imagine except for justice and peace. There was a familiarity to the planet, reminding her good and bad of the memories of the mines where she had grown up. All sorts of riff -raff that Thalia felt more comfortable being around instead of the blue collared corporate wigs who seemed to dictate what is done and what is not. Regardless, Thalia found her way to one of the many clubs located in the Hutt district, pretty Twi'lek girls and many drinks.

The music thumped through her body before she even walked through the doors, lights flashing to attract its guests and she would be one of them. She was met with heavy aroma of exotic spice and smoke and trying to navigate through the bodies and tables was an endeavor itself. However, she would make it to the counter and her numerous waves of the bar tender was less than successful until finally she used the Force to get their attention. It would take as long to get her a drink.

"So like, when you follow rules and make that into a religion, you're like making a worse drug without the buzz." Yes. That was exactly how a sith would talk about Jedi right? Kyle wasn't sure. What was the deal with all those restrictions anyway? It seemed like a fast way to harsh a buzz. The women around him seemed interested. He had a haunch that they weren't. Lame. They were too preoccupied with the chase of credits.

"Later, girls." Kyle said. His head buzzy and hot. Man, how lame was this? Why did he ever bother with Nar Shaddar? Then he sensed another force user. Oh, far out. Were they Jedi? Sith? On second thought, either one was bound to harsh his buzz. The Jedi would start lecturing him about his use of the dark side, but a Sith had to compensate for falling short.

"Yo, you out there?" Kyle inquired verbally. Let's cut to the chase.

Her drink came, but it was not what she had ordered. Picking up the glass, she took a cautious sniff of the concoction, trying decipher was poured together to give it the hot magenta color. She winced as it burned her nostrils and lowered the drink, holding onto it to look slightly occupied. Thalia turned her back, her senses reaching out again, Someone is calling to you...

The voice spoke and Thalia had become more receptive to its guidance over the past few weeks. Her gaze scanned the bodies that moved through the club, entering and exiting the dance floor, as she tried to pinpoint who had heard her. Answer him...

"I am here." she said, though no one would actually hear her even as they crowded around the bar on either side of her, "What do you need?"

Oh, He knew that vibe every time it was around him. That shiver of energy up the spine that mastered his attention. It was like a leash attached to the back of the brain, forcing him to acknowledge it. Man, sometimes it would be better if this Force stuff would quiet down. The vibrations pulsed out from their source, a woman getting a drink of some sort. He didn't seem to be aligned in particular with Sith or Jedi.

Cautiously, Kyle approached her.

"Yo, man. I'm just wondering what you about. You here on business?"

Her gaze continued around the club, trying to pinpoint her caller before a figure seemed to move forward to where she stood. Instantly she began to gauge who this guy was, by the way he dressed, Thalia pegged him a stoner, and she felt a moment of regret. He seemed to be just as cautious and rightfully so, it was Nar Shaddaa after all, anyone here had their own agenda, including herself, she wasn't about to go out of her way to help anyone. Besides that was a Jedi's job and as a Ranger, she was far from home and her jurisdiction.

An eyebrow slowly quirked upward as he asked her of her business, she couldn't help but to wonder if his slowed speech was from the impact of some spice he had just taken.

"Just passing through." she said, "Not much about me, but you...you don't look like you belong here, maybe more of a surf guy." she observed and raised her glass to lips but paused, recalling it was not the drink she ordered, nor did she think a human could consume such a beverage. "What are you about?"

Kyle couldn't help but flash a charismatic grin.

"Guilty as charged! Would rather be with some Nauts, but the Universe put me here instead. Guess life just be that way." Kyle wanted to clear his head. This was possibly going to be one of those serious chats. Everyone on Nar Shaddaa has a story, and it was rarely a happy one. He was one of the lucky ones.

" Ain't it obvious? I'm here to expand my limits. Everybody keeps saying that enlightenment comes from the cats in robes. But I'll tell ch'ya, that if you just drop out and tune in, then anyone can see what we're all about." Kyle put his hands in his pockets and let that puppy-dog charm bleed through his gentle eyes and mop-top of a haircut.

"You look like someone who's had to listen to everyone but themselves."
