Amused laughter roared from Demolly's chest, of course the bolts came at her shortly after so her focus had to change. It wasn't like she didn't see them coming, the woman had brought the blaster to her hand first before shooting. Demolly batted away the shots, but let her focus falter, thus ending her choke. She had to make it to the throne anyway, so she began to move.

"This is much more fun than I thought it'd be!" she shouted as she moved. She expected more shots, but the goddesses attention had partly switched to Asminys as well. She didn't trust Asminys even if he hadn't attacked yet, apparently. It was something both her and Demolly had in common. How sweet. The false goddess sent a shot towards Asminys and a shot towards Demolly. "Kill them! Kill them!" the goddess shouted, hoping her followers would listen if she shouted enough.

They weren't exactly listening, but they did begin to fire at Asminys, since they were being forced closer together. Demolly decided to take the other side with the already fried guard, jumping over the gap that had opened in the ground. She could feel the heat as she leapt, and kept her saber up. She didn't need too though, since the false goddess, after firing the few times and screaming, turned around and it looked like she pressed nothing on the wall. But it wasn't nothing, out of seemingly nowhere, a small door swung open near her feet. It was a secret escape route. It was probably where she was headed in the first place when her guards failed her.

Demolly took advantage of the opening, running and swinging her blade to cut the woman's head off as she went to drop down the escape route. Demolly was completely ignoring Asminys strife, or lack thereof, and hoped he wouldn't take advantage of her focus being off of him completely.

It seemed that Asminys movements had garnered the fire goddesses attention. Igniting his saber as he swung it in a hard block, he sent the woman's blaster bolt flying into the chest of one of her remaining guards as they renewed their attention on him. Sweeping his blade left and right, he deflected a pair of blaster bolts as the dead guard fell into the pit of flame. The scent of charred flesh filled the room.

The platform continued to retract beneath Asminys and the cultist's feet, bringing them closer and closer to the wall as the platform diminished. The guards increased their rate of fire as they focused Asminys, forcing him to fall into a weaving blade pattern and dance closer to the wall.

ENOUGH! Asminys shouted in his head. Turning, he sprinted diagonally towards the wall, blocking shots as he ran. Jumping at an angle, he kicked off the wall and dove over the guards, his saber lashing out to catch the nearest one across the face as he went past.

Extinguishing his saber as he rolled out of the dive, he came up onto his knees, twisting at the hip to extend an open palm towards the last cultist.

"AAAAAAGHHHH!" The man screamed as he went flying. His back slammed against the edge of the opposite platform before he tumbled into the flames below.

Brushing off, Asminys stepped onto the thrones dais as the last of the platform disappeared, leaving only a flaming pit filled with charred bodies. Peering past the throne Asminys could see Demolly standing over the headless body of the fire goddess.

"A shame, she could have been useful." He remarked. She had some minor talent and perhaps they could have used her, controlled her. But she was dead now, what could have been wasn't worth more than a passing thought.

As the false goddesses head fell to the ground with a grotesque splat, Demolly stood up straight and put away her saber. "No," she answered Asminys plainly. "She'd never stop craving revenge, or her cult back. I don't have the time or desire to play that game." She paused for a second, bringing a hand to her face and running a finger down her chin. "And... she was a Force user, she could not be restrained to a mindless follower." At times even she wondered if she was lucid, but she didn't doubt herself when she said this.

She turned after, her eyes lingering over the throne itself. It called to her, and she smiled at it. She walked in front of it, taking a seat with both her hands on the arms. When she got nice and comfy, she noticed the buttons on the sides. With a quick motion, she pressed a button that was under one that was stuck down. The the floor started to close shut. It made her smile. It was good to get to know a throne, even though it wouldn't be her only. Oh no, she planned to get a much bigger throne.

"Asminys," she said after a handful of seconds, turning her head to look at him. "I don't know if you have plans, but I do. I plan to rule. And during the time I've been free, I've grown fond of the idea of other Cadre ruling too." The floor closed fully, leaving a quietness in it's wake. She continued once it did. "That's why I'm willing to offer you an alliance, of sorts. Your assets are yours. I'll leave them alone. I may even help you at times, if you help me. At least, as long as you're worth my time," she said frankly. Maybe he'd laugh at her, maybe he'd purpose something else, but an offer was on the table.

She waited for a second, clicking her fingers on her new throne,"But, deal or no deal, cross me and I will kill you." She knew very well that he could just as likely kill her, maybe moreso. That didn't mean she'd ever admit that, or willingly submit to her Cadre-brother. She was Sith, and one who'd already grown tired of being crushed beneath someone.

Asminys remained silent in response to Demolly's judgement of the false goddesses' usefulness. She was right. The dead woman had already tasted power and would not have been satisfied with mere servitude. A useful lesson to remember in the future.

Watching Demolly sit the throne, Asminys felt a small pang of anger. And Jealousy. He had originally come here for the throne, but hadn't desired a throne in a basement so much as to fight his Cadre-sister for it, instead settling on a deal that would benefit him later. A dark part of him desired to go back on the deal, cut Demolly's head from her shoulders and claim the throne for himself.

Perhaps for a much bigger throne.

But not this one.

The moment of jealousy passed before she turned her head to look at him, and she would see nothing but mild disinterest on his face as she addressed him.

Did he have plans? of course he did. They were young, infantile but growing. He had tasted freedom for the first time and he had grown fond of it. No Cadre-master to order him around, forcing him to bow to their will at every turn or face torture. No tests or tournaments that were to be won or spend weeks in the Pit of Despair.

Only his force of will and action to decide his course.

"Demolly," He started, casting an eye first at the throne she sat on, his gaze grazing up her until he met her crimson eyes. "I have no desire to bow before another again." He knew she likely held the same sentiments, having similarly been forced to bow before their Cadre-masters their whole lives. "And I will never bow to you," His nostrils puffed as the words came out, approaching the side of the throne, "But I find your offer of alliance acceptable, you keep to your rule and I will keep to mine. Aid me in my conquests, and I will aid you as I see fit in yours. Cross me..."

He trailed off as he came close to her, his left hand reaching out to gently caress her jawline as he brought his face close, before grabbing her by the jaw with a gentle firmness so that his burning eyes stared deeply into hers. "And I will cut your head from your shoulders." His words were a whispered promise. He held his unlit lightsaber still in his right hand, ready to defend himself if she decided to take advantage of the intimate closeness.

She listened to him speak, watching him closely. If he tried anything, she'd react right away. He didn't seem to turn hostile however, and even made a smile curl on her face. "Crush my dreams, will you?" she said when he mentioned never bowing to her. Of course, she understood his feelings. She had no plans to bow to him either, she'd prefer to fight to the death.

When he went in front of her, her muscles tensed but she relied more on the Force and didn't go for her saber. She was a second away from summoning fire to her hand, but then her eyebrow raised as he placed his hand on her chin. A threat, was it?

She looked into his eyes and could see he was dead serious, and she did take it as a real threat... but, she smiled at him. A toothy, amused smile. "Not if I cut your head off first," she said, bringing her finger up to run it along his jawline. "Of course it'd be a waste, so I wont do it unless it's worth it," she half-joked. There was a possibility, though she did want to keep this deal. She wanted to see the galaxy dominated by the Cadre.

"Now," she added after a second. "You may leave. I'm a busy woman." She knew he'd see this as a command, but not toying with him wasn't part of the deal. He'd have to offer something much more tempting for her to stop.

Asminys could feel how close she was to lashing out with the darkside, see that she took him his threat seriously. Of course she had to smile in his face and threaten him back. He knew she would probably do it, if she had the chance. Or try to anyways. He also knew that she wouldn't try it until the day she thought the threat he posed outweighed what assistance she could wring out of him.

Exhaling harshly as she told him to leave, he stared at her venomously for a moment before turning to leave. Walking across the freshly shut floor, he exited the throne room. Emerging into the hallway, a few of the cultists milling about as they seemed uncertain of what to do. Stopping before them, he stared them down.

"Behold your new Gods." He declared to them before pushing past them. "Go see to your new Goddess." He gestured towards the throne room before walking away, following his memories path out of the cult's underground dwelling. He knew that would annoy her if she had heard it, counted on it really. He laughed silently to himself as he walked into the darkness of the night.

Demolly grunted when she heard what Asminys decided to say on his way out. She'd fix that little comment, but only once he left. She'd tell her followers that he was a demi-god, and she was the only true god. That'd still give him power to command over her cult, but leave her with ultimate control.

She watched as a bunch of followers entered. They'd see the old goddesses head on the ground and Demolly sitting on the throne. "Bow," she commanded, and they all fell to their knees. "Yes mother!" they answered back with a mix of awe and fear, bowing over and over.

They obviously respected power.

"I am the one and only true god. The man who left, Asminys, is only a demi god. Remember that." They all echoed more "Yes mother". It was a bit odd, though it hardly phased her. She'd get use to it. After a short pause to think, she added, "And from now on, we will be known as the Children of Alkis." Kun had meaning in Sith, one that fit the group well enough. Whatever their old name was, it belonged to the former dead goddess and Demolly wanted to cull every part of her from the group. They belonged to Demolly now.
