Alright I took some liberty in moving us forward. If anyone has any objection, let me know. The hangar is a much more exciting place for a showdown then a crowded hallway.

And also I take it no one wants to die here. However, perhaps I could convince our GA counterparts to consent to PvP combat with non-fatal wounds only...? Would make it better if the losers do walk away wounded

I'd be down for a PvP round in the hangar, but I don't think it should be the focus of the thread. I think the two main positions should be the main generator and control room.

After our fun in the hangar I think we should split up, two go for the generator, two for the control room. To keep the PvP theme going we could send one of each to each room, or we could send both GA to the control room to face a stream of Mandos and send both Mandos to the generator to face Fireteams Alpha, Beta and Markus Garuke. That was the purpose in Markus anyway, to be a boss battle for the mando players. This way, the Republic would get a win, but still be forced to evacuate the station due to a bomb on the generator.

Who's Markus Garuke? I've never heard of him before.

However, you are most correct about the objectives. If you are willing, you and Alpha should make for the control room, leaving the other GA troops to slow us down. Me and Zara will fight our way to follow, realizing that you two mean to beat us there and secure it.

And it seems that you have more information than I about this...the predetermined result is a sort of draw?

Also, what say you and Alpha about my PvP-no-deaths-but-everything-else-goes challenge?

It is supposed to be a win for the Mandalorians, but the primary objective of the whole operation is to break the blockade and cripple the Alliance fleet. However, there's more than one way to go about that and what happens during this role-play doesn't necessarily change the overall outcome.

Just being there, the Mandalorians throw the station into chaos. If the crew is occupied fighting off the Mandalorians within, the station is no longer an effective weapon, which means the Alliance fleet is weakened significantly.

However, the crew could decide to scuttle the station, destroying it in an attempt to deny the Mandalorians the ability to use it against the Alliance fleet. The Mandalorian assault force could have a similar goal. If they can't capture the station, they may decide to cripple it or even overload the generator and destroy it completely. Either way, the station is compromised.

Both sides know the value of a fully operational orbital defense platform, too. Crippling it or destroying it would be a last resort, but yes, that would be more like a draw. Obviously the Mandalorians still succeed in their primary mission regardless of what happens to the station, though.

I'm fine with the no death but anything goes challenge, a few more scars, burns and sprains couldn't hurt too much.

Markus is the Jedi Knight I made that is technically the guy in charge of the drop ship, he's in the intro for a bit. He was really just a device to give Saul a reason to be commanding a fireteam, but I figured he'd make a decent boss battle for you if you wanted.

Note that I'm not controlling him, he's just an NPC.

Edit: Also, I'm fine with some PvP.

That's alright, but I will be killing Mr. Markus.

Alright so you GA folks are going to make a run for the control room then, get the battle going in the direction we need? Perhaps Markus can try and stop us and buy you both time, and then me and Zara will RP a few rounds of combat with the guy

Just made my post, and it seems as though at the end we are moving from the hangar.
