Vorpan. Green.

The light panel inset within the ceiling of the modified stealth gunship, just above the ramp, is flashing green. While not every species attached the same meaning to the color, a vast majority regarded it as the symbol to start or begin. To go.

Someone yells. Green light! Go, go, go!

The flashing green is replaced by a dreary gray. And white. Lots of white. Colors take shape... Dimly lit morning sky. Thick, rolling clouds. Jagged, snow capped mountains... it's all a blur... and suddenly the wind is no longer batting the air assault team back and forth. Everything is clearer now. They plummet silently, their repulsor packs actively guiding them in a downward spiral that will leave them directly atop the massive fortress far below. Anti-aircraft guns can't track them. The cloud cover and dim morning light are their allies, offering near-perfect concealment. The fiery dropships streaking downward in the distance are their distraction. Just two more minutes...

(1000th POST!!!)

Alarann landed in a large dropship with a large handfull of men, his squad of fifteen now disguised mandalorians as well as regement of troops descended with their weapons, in the distance, afar they could see Dropships landing, though they were none the wiser to the attack from above at the present time. Alarann beckoning his men charged through the facility to the point in which they must defend, the power generators. Reaching their location, they set up a peremeter. Placing a portable shield generator around it as well as locking down the blast doors of the room itself three trusted men who Alarann knew and tusted personally were allowed into the room, to be locked down within it, as the last line of defense.

Working their way out the Basic Mandalorian troops set up several Mid hallway blockades including portable chest high shields at key points and bottlenecks which resulted from long corridoors as a part of the buildings defense specifications. Though Alaranns' greatest threat were twelve men with personal cloaking technology, suits which bent the light around them with mirage images... four of which were in the power room itself, and eight of which took up arms around him. Alarann gave the others simple, and effective orders. They were to scout. And hunt out everything they could within the peremeter of the base.

These twelve, were well trained assassins/ scouts of the mandalorian order. The military grade stealth technology was usually only bought out for special causes. This was a special cause. One they needed to fight through ruthlessly. With scanning technology and heartbeat sensors. They were spec ops, to which Alarann was assossiated with being the second to 'J' as well as a Watcher. The orders of the other eight were to split into twos to scan the area for enemies and dangers, disarming anything that could pose a threat as they went in case of SEP inside jobs, and flank in groups of 4 from behind cover behind the enemies when they arrive. Armed with vibroblades, assault rifles, as well as other tactical gear. They would be the sword driven into the back of the attackers from cover before they returned to the darkness.

The Fosh would be biting down his lower lip if he had one, though he was proud of their emergency deployment. Be on guard! all of you! We'll expecting company sometime soon... To each and every one of you who falls, ensure you take THREE OF THEM WITH YOU! There was a flattering SIR YES SIR! After his commands.

He drew his songsteel blade and whirled it in his hand as well as his beskar heater shield. Alarann after all was a close combat specialist, and juggernaut by nature. Though for this instance he carried a slug throwing SMG with some additional rounds at his side as well as a handy supply of EMP's and Incendary grenades... His 12mm thick power clad armour was polished to a sheen which made his blue plumage extending from the back of his head look little less than cerulean flame exploding from the back of his platinum coloured helmet.

Signalling to a couple of the explosives experts amongst them He ordered them to go to above floors with others, and begin the riggings of corridoors. Eg. Certain locked off corridoors around the area were primed with remote detonatable anti personel explosives, hidden in crawl spaces and air vents below and above them. The blast doors would act as a shield to the base, and resist the overall damage caused by the traps. After being set, they retreated back. A supprise for their insurgent friends who thought they were clever turning on their former allies.

This was for Mandalore, her spirit was with him, with every mandalorian here. These treacherous scum would be put down like dogs without dignity. In betraying their Mandalore they had served themselves a death undeserving of honor or redemption. Alarann saved the speach but they would not charge to meet them, instead, he took up the position as a defensive line, with no way around. It would be through them, or bust!.

The stench of war, Akela Parjir was able to smell it clearly and even feel it in the air. After all, the smell of those traitors was a thing that Akela was able to smell even from the furthest distance. It was a clear thing that Akela did hate those Mandos even before they defected. Yeah, he always thought that Corden was dangerous from the Mandos and he was going to lead them into their downfall. He also wanted to kill the corrupted general but well he was too late.

It seemed that the general was able to form an army of his followers and strike too fast before anyone would have even expected it. However; this was just the beginning of the battle and the loyalists were not going to give up fast.

"All hands to their positions at once!!!" Akela shouted as all men got to their positions and as some of the men got into the turrets and the cannons were activated. The place was well fortified not only from the outside but also from the inside as the automatic turrets inside the fortress were all activated and ready to fire automatically in case the enemy somehow got lucky and was able to make it inside.

Gladly, it was only a matter of few minutes before the fortress was put into full alert and everything was ready from man turrets to anti aircraft guns and scanners. Of course not mentioning the troops that took their positions everywhere across the fortress. Of course some troops took their positions at the roofs and others took their positions at the lower levels. Of course since Akela was a long rang expert he was commanding a group of soldiers that were placed at one of the higher levels of the building. Gladly, there were barricades everywhere and places for the soldiers to take cover in case the enemy ships got closer to them.

Of course Akela made sure that the control room was under heavy protection as well since there was a possibility that it might be the enemy’s first target if they attacked the fortress.

"Alright troops it looks like the moment to punish these traitors has finally come to us!!! Just remember that those who we are fighting are no Mandos....they are all traitors and dogs who had betrayed our Mando, our people, our code, and our way of living. Which is why we shall show them no mercy on the battle field.....they attack us!!I say we let them bring it on and give them a taste of our own metal" Akela screamed before he looked down upon the battle that was going on in the ice field. It was indeed a view that made his blood boil.

"My brothers and sisters it is time for war!!! bah akaan" Akela shouted as a lot of screams were heard from around him. It seemed that war has finally come to the Mandalorians once again.

Fenris.

A planet established as a base when the initial flight from the Sith happened. The Mandalorians under Jenna Wolf, the "Rangers", were among the first to leave and set up camp elsewhere. Although the planet was in fact quite beautiful, Marcus had some Loyalists to kill.

Coming in via Repulsor-pack with his squad and Qed's, a huge explosion rocked the base and threatened to ruin his groups flight capabilities. Although they were able to recover without it being compromised, their mission was vastly different now.

"It appears they lacked the honor to face and decided a cowards death was better. How appropriate."

Marcus' voice would be audible to those in his squad. The spineless loyalists had sacrificed their own lives to avoid facing the superior Seperatist soldiers. Qed proposed an LZ on a small plateau not far from the old base after it had been devastated by the second wave of explosions.

"I agree. From there we'll be able to call down air support, with the AA guns from the main fortress being gone. Once we mop up the survivors, we can direct the air support to the field to finish off the remaining loyalists there."

Marcus took hold of his charric, fully capable of blasting inch-wide holes in beskar alloy at the cost of a two hundred meter range, and proceded without drama to the landing zone, where he would no doubt meet up with Qed.

"Shall we begin, vod?"

Alarann had ordered a full retreat of the base the second he recieved the signal. Some wouldn't get out, but he had a feeling he knew what was coming. Leaping out a window and sliding his foot into his shield he surfed his way to a lower peak of the mountains. Beginning to relay orders to the men from the base as he effectively snowboarded over the soft white powder snow.

Calling all loyalist Mandalorians, Re-group! Take up garrison among the rocks and debris! Ready any trip explosives on your person and trench up! I'm forwarding the location of the Seperatist Drop zone soon.

Then there was the explosion. Alarann could see the Seperatists coming down and landing north of his position at a slightly higher peak. Pulling the bes'kar kite shield up he forwarded the locations of the Landin Seps. They would land under heavy fire. as under the covering fire of the other surviving loyalists they began to circle and move in on their position. Though their spirits were low.

Mandalorians, do not waver! We are the Betrayed, the survivors of betrayal! Follow under me, and i sware to each and every one of you that I will uphold your expectations! I will lead you to Victory, honor and redemption! Everyone, designate gunners and keep sustained fire on their lication. Allow what few combat teams we have to jump on their location. We'll enter Melee and take them HEAD TO HEAD! Meanwhile, gunners are then to take high ground and take supportive firing positions!

Alarans' commands were heard. Those who escaped on jetpack found themselves primed and moving in on their location as blasterfire peppered the Sep LZ from slightly below. Alarann would take the Chance and begin charging up the snow zone for their flank. Quick paced dashes lead him up to their position quickly. His Beskar shield held high. Now that the facility was gone this was a pitch battle. And many of the usual tactics were out the window.

THIS WAS WAR!!!
