Legacy of Tython
Tython, 25,783 B.B.Y.
The Force, Ashla and Bogan, only parts of a whole, together they bring balance, harmony within the Force, harmony and balance to those of Tython. For nearly ten thousand years, the Je’daii worked together to keep in balance, it was necessary to survive in the harsh conditions of Tython. They were reminded of the chaos that could ensue when the forces were tipped too far in either direction. The Je’daii were careful in their teachings of peace and balance to such an extent, those who dared to tip the scales were exiled to Tython’s moons until they renounced themselves.
There was such an exile was named Daegon Lok. The Council believed he had journeyed too far into Tython’s Chasm, succumbing to the maddening effects it had on other curious Je’daii. Though Lok was convinced his vision was real and on the moon of Bogan, he waited, waiting to prove the Je’daii Council Masters wrong. Years later, Lok’s vision had become truth, an army of darkness returned to Tython, shaking the very foundations of the Je’daii Order and thus igniting the Force Wars.
Tython was thrown into chaos, the battle of Light and Dark tore through its lands for a decade. Those who fought the followers of Bogan embrace the Light, it was stronger and they were able to bring some balance back to Tython. In the destruction of the Force Wars, there was creation, and as a result the Jedi Order was formed; they followed Ashla and listened to its will believing it was a more honorable path to walk. But so enamored in the Light were the Jedi as they worked to eradicate the evils Bogan had spread through Tython and her system. No matter their efforts though, the dark side would keep finding its initiates.
Tython would soon be abandoned, lost in legend; but the Jedi shall hear Tython’s call and they shall return. The decedents of Bogan will follow; there cannot be one without the other and Tython will become a battle ground, leaving only one victor in the struggle of the light and the dark.
