It had been so damn long since The Doctor had visited Coruscant, it's tallest spires to it's darkest undercities, everything was here, every item from every market from every planet and culture could be found here, the seat of Galactic Politics, the Core of Galactic Society...Glorious Shithole! As pretty as Coruscant looked, the vapors and fumes that filled her lungs, the constant hussle and bussle of crowds, a greater chance of being mugged here than on Nar Shadda?? Yeah, no thank you, she preferred it on the Smuggler's Moon half the time...unless it was acid raining.

Today, The Doctor was visiting several unclaimed spots of land both above and below ground, scouting out locations for her new business venture, one that everyone would flock to, either through word of mouth or because they simply couldn't stop coming back. For now though, it was just in the planning stages, resources and credits would still be required for this to get off the ground, but hey! No harm in starting early. She was slowly working her way up, currently around 6 levels down, when she heard something that caught her ear. It sounded like The Force (if one could hear The Force), but she wasn't quite sure.

All the same, it caught her ear, and in light of recent developments in her life, she was feeling a little more curious/reckless when it came to rushing headlong into danger, she wouldn't get anywhere otherwise after all. She cautiously began to creep into the ally, listening for any foul play, hearing something like harsh breathing and a slight muffled shouting...

"Good doing business with you." The Trandoshan offered as a form of goodbye, turning and placing his hands in his pockets as he began to walk away. Though Nihlus' vestigial eyes did not work, that did not mean he was blind. Far from it in fact, as he saw more than most could. One single glance at the blasting caps in his hands and he could tell they were faulty.

"What kind of idiot do you take me for?" The exile called out after the Trandoshan before he was out of ear shot.

"Excuse me?" The lizard questioned as he turned back around.

"It's not robbery if you exchange something, even if what you're giving out is complete shit, right?" A few steps were taken towards the trader to close the gap between them. Already he could feel the shady individual growing nervous. "Do you always rip people off or are you just a complete idiot?"

The Trandoshan's eyes began to dart back and forth, looking for any escape. "I-uh... Don't k-know-"

Immediately his protest was cut off. Nihlus flung his arm off to the side, hurling the trader through the air and slamming him into the wall next to him with enough force to dislocate a shoulder. The unexpected attack left him winded and he began to fall to his knees but the exile caught him by the collar of his shirt, hoisting him back up and slamming him back into the wall where he pinned him. "Give me back those credits." He demanded, a barely tamed rage seething into his voice.

"A-all sales are f-f-AUGH!" A fist connected with the Trandoshan's jaw, surely dislocating it. The hand returned to his collar and held him upright.

"I'm not gonna ask again. In fact, give me everything you've got on you." If this thug was going to rob him, then Nihlus was about to show the little punk how it's really done.

Rounding the corner, The Doctor was lucky enough to catch the sight of a fat little Trandoshan flying through the air and smacking into a wall with that oh-so-satisfying THWACK noise. He had barely landed before his assailant grabbed him, of whom drew The Doctor's eye much more entrancingly. His form was clad almost head-to-toe in armor, black as the void itself with intimidating metal protrusions all over it's otherwise sleek appearance. All in all, even without the lightsaber, she could tell by looking that this poor soul was one of her fellow 'Exiles' and quite the callous or indifferent one at that. Casually tossing someone around with the Force wasn't exactly the most subtle means of conveying your displeasure at being sold a faulty product (what did he expect when it came to back alley deals), and if he weren't reined in, he would bring the authorities in to put him down, or worse, Hutt Bounty Hunters.

The Doctor figured that this one needed a lesson in manners, so she carefully set aside her documents and notes by a garbage can before strolling forward and coming to rest on a wall not 5 metres from the two. "That's a good way to get arrested, or worse, my friend." She began, looking between the two with curiosity on her face, "The Force isn't exactly something you use in public, couldn't you just beat the crap out of him?"

The figure of another glided into his vision down the alley way, going unnoticed in Nihlus' rage until the figure spoke. The soothing voice of a female drifted to his ears and caught his attention, pulling it away from the lizard before him long enough for the thug to regain his footing and run off down the alley in the opposite direction. The anger that flowed through the Miraluka dwindled down to little more than annoyance; annoyed at being interrupted. As his mind's eye focused on this newcomer through the Force, he felt it coursing through her. She did not feel as tainted as some he had felt, but she was no Jedi either, as there was a darkness to her. "What do you care?" He spat back at her, turning to face her with his lifeless eyes as more of a courtesy than anything. "Mind your own business."

It took a moment, but it was then that he noticed the man whom had ripped him off had gotten away, money in hand still. "You gonna reimburse me for the money I just lost?" Anger once again flared up inside of him, clearly a loose cannon just waiting to be set off with little care for where he was aimed. She would feel strength in him, but a great, untamed darkness at its core; a rabid animal with no one holding his leash any longer.

The Doctor was used to that kind of rebuke and attitude, though she was surprised that it was coming from an exile. It was ironic that, for a sect known as raving mad monsters, The Doctor's encounters with them had all been quite civil (then again, she picked her contacts carefully). Still, she probably should have expected this sort of meeting sooner or later, and hell, maybe something would come of this. She noted the man running away, dismissing him as unimportant for the moment whilst her adversary took great offense to it, his anger only blazing hotter. He certainly seemed to have something of a hair trigger temper about him...but that may not be a bad thing.

A thought formed in The Doctor's mind, something crass and crude, but also effective if utilized properly. She had Zaana, she had Jareth, and she may have Nadela and Malthazar, so perhaps she might have this one too, given the right push. As his power began to grow, The Doctor burrowed into his brain with The Force, finding naught but wild and raw anger and lust for power, borne of nothing, just simply there...curious. She may have delved a little deeper if he hadn't appeared to be gearing up for battle, so The Doctor figured she'd do the same.

Unsheathing her Vibrosword, The Doctor took a Makashi stance, sword in her right hand and a little ahead of her.
"Sure, I'll reimburse you...if you beat me"

For once, it was not Nihlus who made the first move towards conflict. He was annoyed, he was angry, and he needed release sure, but he had not drawn his weapon. Instead, it was this other Dark Jedi, drawing not a lightsaber but a vibrosword. in all honesty, this newcomer hadn't angered him enough to draw his weapon of his own accord just yet, but if she was going to issue such a challenge, he couldn't deny it. A smirk lit his face and his hand flexed at his side, the black hilt of his own weapon flying through the short gap from his hip to his hand. The twin crimson blades ignited, flickering like something between lightning and flame, just as untamed as the man wielding it. The blade was flourished with a fanciful spin that briefly illuminated his entire surroundings in red light before settling into his unorthodox stance, knees bent, left leg leading, blade held behind him down at his side. To those well-versed in the traditional styles of lightsaber combat, Nihlus would appear untrained and quite vulnerable, but this was far from the truth.

The dog needed to say nothing more. Their talking would shift from their mouths to their blades. The Force weaved itself through the muscles of Nihlus' legs as he bent his knees a bit further before kicking off the ground and lunging towards the woman at a breakneck pace. As the gap between them closed, his peculiar saber was brought high above his head in both hands, cleaving straight downwards with explosive force, all his rage from the transaction only moments ago weighing down the blade.

The Doctor stood vigilant as the stranger registered what was happening, a grin painting itself on his face. Clearly he seemed like the type who loved a good fight, but was he any good at the fight? The Doctor knew all too well that she was a novice in Lightsaber combat, so seeing him take position with such a confident look in his eye offset her a little. She may have misjudged the situation, made a critical mistake, but either way, she had made her bed, now she had to lay in it.

And then came something she didn't expect. Makashi was all about redirection and leading the fight through deception, The Doctor liked to use her enemies strengths against them and was a big fan of using their speed or strength to her own advantage given her own inexperience in matching saber to saber. This one was insanely fast, if she hadn't sensed the force drawing around him she wouldn't have noticed, but she knew something was off, confirmed when he literally just lunged straight at her.

The correct course of action seemed obvious, even to her. As he lunged and brought his saber down, The Doctor dragged her Sword up and locked with his own. As she did so, she reached out with the Force and clamped around his wrists, redirecting his wild momentum straight down to the floor. Assuming he hit the floor, The Doctor could easily have her sword to the tip of his throat in less than a second, and the impact should wind him enough to allow her to pull the saber into her own grip with the force.

Ok, defenseless and defeated opponent in one move eh? Even The Doctor was a little surprised by this, though she would take it in stride like everything else. "You don't do this very often do you?" She asked, sincerity in her voice as she pressed the tip against his jugular.
