Nashia nodded and focused on the comm hard. She focused on his hand this time and focused on pulling his fingers towards her. She thought that if she could pry his fingers off the comm then the comm would come easily.
Ryaco held the comm against the ever-growing force tugging away at his fingertips, untill finally, his grip broke, sending the small object soaring across the balcony and landing gently in Nashia's hand.
He let off a small grin.
"Well done."
Ryaco pulled the comm back to his hand and quickly placed it back on his belt.
Nashia thought for a few minutes before she spoke.
"I would say the first line means that emotions are okay, but you must also know peace. Like if you have angry emotions then you can't know peace. The second line would mean that there is ignorance in the galaxy, but it is our job to spread the knowledge to them."
She stopped at this next line and thought about it longer than the other two.
"I guess it means that we can have passion for something, but it cannot be a bad passion...like a dark sided passion. For example, if I wanted revenge on my parents. There can be chaos all around us and we must have harmony with the Force so we do not fall into the chaos."
The last one hit home and she stopped for a few seconds.
"There will always be death, but in the Force we are never truly gone."
Arabella nodded and left her master. She found the archives with the help of a few knights, who she thanked gratefully. She read the history a few times before she felt satisfied enough with her knowledge. She made her way back to Master Ryaco then.
"I learned that our real beginnings are unknown, but we have prospered within the Galactic Alliance for many years. We have had two great schisms, one only twenty years ago. That was the worst. Our Grandmaster at the time had killed a fellow Jedi, I forget the name, and that caused some of the Jedi to leave and form the Ospian Guardians."
((Do we know that the Dark Jedi of the Bogan are around now?))
Ryaco nodded, it was some basic background information, yet the archives held nothing extensive of the beggining of the Jedi Order.
"The shism was very disturbing... for all the Jedi." Ryaco said, thinking of his past during that time. It was a chapter in his life all but forgotten. A small breeze made its way across the balcony, sending a chill down Ryaco's spine before he continued speaking, gesturing for his Padawan to remain standing.
Ryaco rose from his seat and folded his arms to shield them from the cold around them.
"How skilled are you with that lightsaber, Nashia?" He asked, fixing his eyes upon the silver cylinder dangling from her belt.
Nashia's hand involuntarily went to her side and touched her mothers lightsaber.
"They have taught me of lightsaber fighting since I was a young child. I have not used it much in the past two years, but before that I used it every day with them"
OOC: No one besides the Dark Jedi of the Bogan know of the existence of the Dark Jedi of the Bogan. And especially the Jedi, as they don't know shit. I suggest editing your posts or fear the wrath that visits those who cheat and use OOC knowledge. Those who wield the wrath will suck your heart right out of your chest.
Ryaco nodded, before beginning the long introduction to lightsaber combat.
"There are six forms of lightsaber combat, all unique with strengths and weaknesses." He began, moving his position to get confortable again.
"The first form, Shii-Cho, is the most basic form and is tought to all youngling during their time at the temple, it includes basic attack, parry, body target zones, and practice drills called velocities. The second form, Makashi, is based upon lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. The third form of lightsaber combat is known as Soresu, it is a rather new combat type, it was created in the recent rise of blaster use to be easily the most effective in defence against energy weapons. The fouth is Ataru, the form of which I use, it is the process of using advanced acrobatics in both offence and defence. Form V is known as Shien or Djem So, it is a very agressive and offensive based form. The sixth form, Niman, allows a Jedi to fight with harmony and justice without having to resort to powerful, aggressive movements or overt emotion."
Ryaco allowed his Padawan to absorb the information, before continuuing.
"Every Jedi Padawan learns one form of lightsaber combat during their training, which sounds most in agreement with you?"
