"Prob' not," Kotru agreed, folding his arms as a layer of silence settled between the pair. The Iridonian went back to people watching for a time, one particular individual laying out at least a small armoury onto the table for transport. When they went through the detector again, that sharp chime rang out and with a disgrunted and distant sigh, the Quarian plucked off a (surprisingly realistic looking) tendril and set the concealed knife onto the counter as well.

A single chortle escaped the Zabrak at the display, brought back into the conversation as Ninma finally spoke up. He turned his gaze back to them, nodding his head.
"Figures. 'least you won't be busy or short for chits once ya' set up shop there," Kotru encouraged.

There is another short pause, before Kotru spoke up again with some advice this time around.
"If y'need any mech' work done once you're planetside, there is this lil' shop in the Aerospace district. Third hangar on the main street out of Grakkus' Cut starport. Good service, chick named Sleek runs the place. Only place I'd go to if y'don't want t'be chipped or scammed."

Ninma watched as the Quarian removed the hidden weapon, head tilting as they watched in confusion. That was a new one, even for them. They'd have to keep an eye out for that. Hands together, they listened to the Zabraks words, a bit happy to have some positive advice on this front. "We can hope, maybe I'll just get jumped the moment I set off, who knows!" They said with a touch of amusement.

Given Kotru's nature as a Merc, they wondered if they'd have to cross paths again. It was likely they could have another patient here, at some point at least. Though on the notion of mechanics, well, Ninma never had much luck on that front. "Sleek...I'll try and remember that, though I don't have a ton of credits on me. Maybe once I get settled, I can pay her a visit. I could use a medical droid and some scanning devices, hopefully she'll have some. If I get that far." They nodded, fiddling their thumbs back and forth, as the traffic about them was left to slowly move on through the boarding process.

"But...I apperciate the advice, and the help, Kotru." They stated, looking up to try and lock eyes with Kotru. "I hope I never have to perform on you, given, well your history. But...if I do, I'll give you a discount for certain." They nodded, a smile slowly coming to their face.

Kotru dipped his head in response.
"Maybe. But I'm sure y'got a steady hand. Jus' aim fer' the center 'n upcharge the hell out of 'em," He encouraged, a short-lived cackle following his words. After all, if they had such marketable skills, there was nothing wrong in creating demand for it in his own eyes. A person's got to eat, after all!

When she mused about her needs for a droid, the Zabrak smirked.
"Mhm. Like I said, she does good work with droids 'n that kind of thing. She'll be able ta' kit you out nice 'n fine," He blatantly advertised. She got his ship's big gun back up and running, so it was the least he could do. Kotru's gaze was soon drawn to the boarding ring, seeing the shuttle slowly cross the window leading out into the starry void as it began to dock with the station.

"It ain't nothin' Ni'," Kotru hummed in response, turning his icey-blue orbs to meet the matte black of their visor. A flash of amusement crosses the Miraluka's senses, the Iridonian smirking. "Hah. Careful there, I'll be holdin' you to that when I catch my next bolt."

"Should let'cha board though. They'll give ya' priority since y'ain't got no eyes. Don't need a hand wit' nothin' else, yeah?"

“Like they say, never let a good crisis go to waste.” They smiled just a tad at that, but it was a hallow one. Ninma knew first hand how quickly people took advantage of medical centers. They needed to learn how to defend themselves better. Maybe..Kotru could offer help on that. Well, bit late to ask now, wasn't it?

”That's good. Given my..limitations machine work was never for me. I've tried, but I've broken more fingers than I care to admit.” They sighs, looking to their fingers as they recalled how the last medical droid Ninma had serviced nearly broke their hand.

Looking back, they detected the subtle shift, their smile widened just a tad. "Maybe, if it's okay with you, I could pay for some training lessons? Just..how to defend myself and what not. And it's not a big deal, I board just like anyone else." They elaborated, crossing their legs as they moved side to side, just a tad. "I...suppose if you're ever on Nar Shaddaa, look me up, I have..." They paused, reaching into their breast pocket and pulled on a code cylinder, handing it to Kotru. "That has my comm sig on it. In case you get yourself hurt, you know?" They nodded, waiting for Kotru to either take, or reject, their offer.

Kotru shrugged his shoulders as Ninma looked down to their fingers.
"Y'gave it a shot. Bes' t'just leave it to other folks. 'Sides, y'got plenty'a skill on somethin' jus' as important," He spoke calmly, leaning back against the (vaguely) soft cushioning of the bench as he swapped which leg was sat atop the other. Their grinning remark elicited a short chuckle from the Zabrak. "Exactly. Y'still got to eat."

Watching them sway from the left to the right, her question brought out a small and thoughtful hum. "Suppose I could give ya' a pointer or two. I tend ta' drop by Nar Shaddaa fairly often t'fix up my ship 'n look for work," Kotru would go to gingerly take the code cylinder from Ninma, rolling the small device into his palm. "Aigh'. Saves me havin' to go to some shady back alley clinic."

Kotru smiled, slipping the device into his coat's inner pocket and drewing a small chit of his own. "'N here's mine. Ain't as official as no fancy cylinder, but you've got my holo on there. If y'need some extra mean faces or a blaster."

They merely shrugged at Kotru's words. Yea, Ninma was good at something. Just...what they did wasn't often good.

But enough of that depressing thought.

"Well, I don't eat alot, so, should be just okay." They mused, trying to sound amusement to their voice. "I'd rather not have to fish you out of a clinic or what not so, yea. Prefer it that way." They replied, taking the chit he offered, and pocketed it. They weren't really sure if they were...well, doing anything right. There were so many unknowns in Ninma's mind, that they weren't sure what they were even going to do the moment they got to Nar Shaddaa. Or if they even would get to Nar Shaddaa.

"I didn't have anything else to store things in so, yea. You're the first person who didn't try to swipe my bag, so I appreciate that." They replied, patting their pocket for emphasis. "Thank you again for helping me out. Hopefully won't have to ask for directions every time this comes up." They rose, looking over the the boarding door as traffic started to build.

That only made Ninma feel even more nervous. "Hopefully this doesn't backfire on me."

It was too late to go back home. Far too late to even begin changing their mind.

"Y'should. Runnin' 'bout Nar Shaddaa is hungry work," Kotru advised, resting his right eblow atop the bench and letting his forearm dangle behind the seat. He watches a number of the passengers rise up from their seats, starting to make their way to the docking ring as their tickets were punched and they stepped up the ramp and disappeared in the belly of the landing craft.

Their amusement was met with a small grin from the Zabrak, tapping his hand against the supporting cushions of the bench idly.
"Hah! ya'd have ta' fish me outta the dumpster out back. More likely ta' have one'a my hearts sold 'fore I get any actual treatments done."

"Ain't nothin'. Glad t'have helped a fellow wanderer," He responded to their thanks, shrugging a shoulder as Ninma would rise up from the bench. He followed the Miraluka's lead, standing up on his feet. "Most folks simply won't give a damn if y'don't trouble 'em. Best advise is ta' roll wit' it."

Watching the line steadily move into the shuttle, the Zabrak turned to Ninma.
"See you 'round?"

Ninma reaches for their ticket, feeling it over with their digits, humming to try and steady their nerves. Easier said than done. Kotru's comments didn't...ease those worries as much as they would have liked. "I'd rather not, I've never been fishing, and I don't intend to start now. Wouldn't go well for you at all." Their smile was genuine this time. Though, it made Ninma recall the many times they had found bodies in the trash bins on Lok.

"Well, regardless, I appreciate the help, and...I'll try not to muck things up on Nar Shaddaa." They began their waddle towards the shuttle line, before stopping and looking back to Kotru, giving a small wave to the Zabrak as they went. "Until next time, Mister Kotru. Take care!"

With that, Ninma began their nervous walk towards the shuttle line, glancing back to their new found acquaintance, not entirely sure of what awaited them. Their hands tugged at the straps of their bag, chewing the inside of their lip. Onward to bigger and better things...they hoped.
