Personality Traits​

General Build — Kotru is a relatively young looking Zabrak clad in slightly pale skin, no doubt having spent much of his life in the shade of buildings and spacecraft alike. His facial markings are in an hourglass-like shape, covering his eyes and cheeks in the ink. The Iridonian's build is a bit on the thin side, showing good physical fitness despite a lacking diet. Lucky Genetics — Compared to many of his other Zabraki bretheren, Kotru has a healthy head of hair that consumes the sides of his somewhat stubby horns. This points to there being a Human somewhere in his line. Maybe his Grandma liked Near-Humans? Who knows? Fond of Blue — Judging by the navy blue of his jacket, the Iridonian seems to favor deeper shades of cobalt. One might notice frayed fabrics around his chest and shoulder on his coat. There was patches there, once upon a time. Starry Second Amendment — It is hard to see this Zabrak without his holster, carrying at least one of his blasters. Without such a weapon, he feels very vulnerable and it shows in the caution in his motions and expression.

Character Information​

—Biography A child from the Outer Rim, Kotru had never experienced the safety and stability of the New Republic. While Elrood's security was decent at best, there was always an ever-present threat of crime. As a direct result of this, Kotru had often bounced from job to job, youthful arrogance constantly getting in the way of duty. As he grew into an adult, he would eventually find himself working for Elrood's security corps as a pilot. Kotru would come to enjoy his work, finding a strong sense of pride in defending his home. At least, until a job went sour and he was framed for it. This not only stripped the Zabrak of his badge and income, but also his 'wings'. Disgruntled and mistrustful of his home, Kotru would eventually move to a different city and purchase a (albeit cheaper) new Starfighter. Several months have passed, the Zabrak having since taken the title of freelance pilot and working for whoever pays him.

+ Piloting Thanks to his extensive experience behind the controls of a Starfighter, the Zabrak is a capable starfighter pilot. He shows skill in both maneuvers and shooting, prefering fast and hard-hitting strike craft over slower and heftier bombers. + Engineering | - Software/Slicing An inherently connected art, Kotru is capable handyman when it comes to physical repairs. From electronics to metalwork, the Iridonian seems quite capable. On the other hand though, his ability to code is almost comically poor. + Shooting It seems like his time behind a targetting computer hasn't been wasted. Kotru is a capable marksman on his own, showing a natural preference for one-handed blaster pistols. He claims that rifles are 'too bulky for his liking', trying to play off the fact that he isn't that great at longer ranged sniping. - First Aid Kotru has never been great at medicine. He knows the red and squishy stuff are supposed to stay inside, and that's it. If a stim can't help you, you are well and truly karked if he is with you.
