A clear line was etched in the rug, a clear indicator that Krom had been pacing for the better part of the day. They had secured a warehouse from which to operate, as they needed time to track down the insurgency. The Mandalorians had been onworld for a few days, though Krom had spent most of it pent up in their safehouse. His comrades had decided that he was a psycho and that they would take over the investigative portion of the operation. He could contact them, of course, but he would only get angry that he was being cooped up and angrier still that he couldn't simply kill people until they decided to tell him where the insurgents were at.

Krom's weapons were displayed neatly on a nearby table, though each looked meticulously clean as if they were fresh from the factory. His armor, which was being worn, had also been similarly cleaned, if only to allow the smell of death to accumulate on it once more. Behind Krom's line was his newest, if most temporary, possession: a Deviant of Peace model tank that Krom had alternatively acquired through less-than-legal means. It had enough room for his comrades, as well, meaning that Krom didn't have to leave anyone out when it came time to party.

His white eyes seemed to spark with happiness when he thought of his plan. Using the tank to breach one of the outside walls, Krom aimed to set EVERYONE inside the target building on fire, and leave a note etched into the wall to the side of the entrance that any other insurgents would be dealt with in a similar fashion. He preferred that option, though he had also suggested to place shaped charges on vital load bearing walls and allow the building to crumble under its own weight, crushing any insurgents in a brutal use of gravity. A third choice was to blow an entrance into one wall and use his impressive choice of weaponry to kill everyone in the building, though that risked casualties.

Either way, he would have to wait for his comrades to return before being able to use any of the plans and they needed information on where the insurgents were at before they could act. As such, Krom continued to pace as he waited for his comrades to arrive.

Dav Wren found himself in a familiar position, watching hostiles through his helmet's HUD. He stood not so far away from the safehouse, waiting for his comrade to recon the insurgents. That he was wearing his armor might cause some to question why. But it would've been obvious to anyone with half a brain who he was.

Eshan was the homeworld of the Echani. They were humanoid, close enough to his own human DNA to have offspring with each other. But his being Mandalorian would've been obvious. Humans had been avoiding this world lately anyway.

He saw the pale Echani through the macrobinoculars and watched them carefully. Dav had respect for the Echani, which was rare. They had a lot in common with his own culture with their cultural basis being on the arts of war.

Every one of them moved with a certain grace, a lightness of step like the Twi'lek dancing girls on Nar Shadda. But he could pick out certain ones who held an edge to them. It wasn't even that they looked deadly. Plenty of bully-boys looked scary but they scattered the minute it got heated.

Wren just knew them just like they would've known him even without his plate. Hence why he didn't choose to hide his affiliation even though he was here to reconnoiter. He could still find what he was looking for anyway. Hiding in plain sight was still hiding.

The Dominion held a presence here, though not necessarily the biggest as yet. A garrison existed and it would be re-doubled soon when this insurgency had been handled. They were pretty close to the darjetti out here. No doubt this would be a main battlefront in days to come.

So they had to find the malcontents and get them back under control. It wasn't going to take a genius to find them, you just had to follow the stink to the pile of garbage.

it was nice to get out of his armour for once. Te'Veen didn't really understand his comrades and their obsessions with their armour, he just kinda went along with whatever they said. However, for reconnaissance purposes, Te'Veen ditched the fancy get up in favor of your regular spacer's clothes.

He wandered, asking civilians questions about the insurgency, posing as a republic radical, looking to fund the fight here. He was perfect for this. He had a long and detailed history fighting in the Grand Army of the Republic, and being new to the Dominion meant that nothing about Te'Veen really screamed 'Mandalorian'. It was all a matter of time before Te'Veen collected enough data on the freedom fighters here.

Nonetheless he felt guilty. These insurgents were only fighting for their independence. Was that so wrong?

Te'Veen's eyes fell upon the safehouse. He'd gotten enough information, now they'd have to eradicate the insurgency. "Inside. I've got everything we need here." Te'Veen stated, raising up a datapad as he passed by Dav and entered the safehouse.

He was immediately greeted by the display of equipment Krom had laid out. The guy was insane. No doubt about it. Te'Veen was just happy he was on his side. "Here. You and Dav need to look through this." Te'Veen set the datapad down onto one of the tables and kept walking, presumably to suit up.

As Te'Veen returned, Krom's pacing increased in its fervor, though only for a few seconds before he walked over to the nearby tables just in time for his comrade to set a datapad down upon it. He attempted to look at the datapad, though the thought of getting to kill so many so soon was messing with his focus. Rather than be able to easily understand the information laid out on the datapad, Krom couldn't help but get giddy with excitement.

While waiting for his comrade to ready up, Krom grabbed his helmet and put it on, completing his armor and allowing him to make the many facial expressions that indicated his excitement without weirding out his comrades. The Mandalorian couldn't keep his mind from wandering, imagining every way he could kill someone using the weaponry arranged on the table in front of him.

Bash their head in with my fists, explode them with sound *haha*, disintegrate them with thermal dets, burn through their juicy skulls with a well placed blaster bolt, headbutt them with my helmet on, melt their skulls with my flamethrower, melt their skulls with the flamethrower on the tank, melt their skulls with a thermite grenade, melt their skulls with... No, that's about it for melting their skulls. Anyway, I could liquify their organs with a few blaster bolts, I could use the weapons as clubs and crush their heads, torsos, etc. I could...

Such thinking went on for quite some time and only the return of both of his comrades to the tables would snap Krom back to reality. When he had fully recovered from the joy of his thoughts, he turned to his allies and began picking up each weapon to ensure its sights were aligned and that everything was good to go. "What'd you find out, you two? Regardless, what do you think of my plans from the ride in here? I'd love to burn everyone alive, though we could also just collapse the building. What do you guys think?"

Wren followed Te'Veen back into the safe-house and found their questionably sane brother-in-arms still pacing. That was one of the reasons he'd been outside. Not that he was afraid of Krom, just leery. Besides which, he found the pacing irritating.

He removed his helmet and set it on the table, leaning on his hands to examine the pad. As Krom commenced with his violent babble, Daw looked up. Brown eyes locked onto the inhuman visor. His lips compressed into a thin line.

"We want the Echani on our side," he told him "Or at least not wanting to murder us all. Slaughtering a bunch of them won't help. So we only bring the roof down on them if we don't have another choice."

Wren hated to sound like a bleeding heart, but they didn't need billions of Echani against them. Not for the whims of a psychopath. Some of the hostiles were going to die, maybe all of them. But he wanted to contain the killing as much as possible. Collateral damage was very undesirable.

"So what did you find out, Te'Veen," Dav said as he looked to the other Mando'ade.

Te'Veen came back to the other two, now fully geared up with his pistol on his hip and his rifle slung over his shoulder. After setting his helmet down on the table, the man began to speak.

"Firstly, you aren't going to do a thing unless I tell you to. Understand? I don't need you making these terrorists into a martyr and sparking an uprising!" Te'Veen snapped, jamming a finger into Krom's chest. Te'Veen didn't like Krom. Te'Veen was here because he thought what he was doing was right, but Krom was just a madman fueled by his lust for blood. Te'Veen despised it. He doubted Dav would take a firm approach to keeping a leash on Krom, so Te'Veen took it upon himself.

His attention fell back to debriefing his comrades about the location of the insurgents, and their capabilities.
"The insurgents are based out of an old factory not far from here." Te'Veen began, pulling up a map on the data pad and marking the location. "They've armed themselves with weapons they raided from the local armory after the planet's local governments fell apart. From what I've heard from the locals, the group is being ran by a couple ex-Republic fighters. Radicals now, but they're trained. These people aren't stupid."

Te'Veen paused for moment, opening up blueprints for the factory he'd downloaded from the city's files. The blueprints were old, but they'd have to do. "I'd suggest we blow a hole in one side of the building, then enter from the other side while they're distracted. I'm not interested in wiping these people out. If we can destroy their weapons stockpile and splinter their group, it should all fall apart. Insurgencies don't ever last long after taking a heavy blow."

Krom couldn't quite understand what Wren was going on about. Krom knew better than to kill innocents, though he was not opposed to killing anyone if the situation called for it. In this case, he had been specifically told to only target insurgents and, while he didn't necessarily agree with the bleeding-hearts above him, he followed orders. Women and children make better leverage than killing a few militants, thought the Mandalorian as he watched Te'Veen descend the steps. Krom's ears stood up, his entire body ready to go into combat.

When Te'Veen started speaking, however, Krom's white eyes flashed red behind his visor. When the man followed it up with a finger to the chest, Krom lost his cool. Snapping his hand up, Krom caught the man's wrist and held it in place, using his other hand to grab one of his B-8R pistols from the table. Within an instant, Krom had it raised to Te'Veen's head, his finger tapping rapidly on what could be considered the trigger guard.

The devil on his shoulder whispered gently into his ear and time seemed to slow to a near standstill. Kill him. Don't let him control you. Pull the trigger. End his life and that's one kill you wouldn't otherwise get. You can easily kill the other one, he wouldn't have enough time to put his helmet on before you can pull the trigger. Do it. At the same time, the "angel" on Krom's other shoulder seemed to apply gentle pressure on the gun barrel, making it seemingly heavier as time went on. It, too, spoke to him. These are your vode, there is no need to kill them. They only mean to help you.

Just a short second after Krom had leveled his pistol at Te'Veen's head, he hit his helmet with his pistol a few times before he began shouting inside his mind. He lowered his pistol into its holster on his thigh and allowed an audible sigh to escape. "You do not understand my ill mind, ner vod. My past, and mind, is so dark that Satan would jump out of his seat. We accomplish our missions differently but I would not allow my actions to harm the Dominion or my vode. You think you're doing the right thing but you are still committing murder. You are slaughtering people. You can either push such a fact to the back of your mind and try to keep it away or you can enjoy it. There's a reason I'm good at what I do. Embrace it. Use it. It will make you a more effective warrior."

Krom stayed silent for the duration of the briefing, though was the first to speak once Te'Veen was finished. "I find your plan interesting but disagree with your final point. Many successful uprisings happen because a few survivors spread the word that not even their superior foe could destroy them, resulting in more joining their cause. We need to kill them all and make it known that those who want to start a fight get put down and hard. If your moral compass requires it, we will not kill those who surrender, simply take them prisoner." Taking a quick break, not long enough for anyone to think he was done, Krom sighed deeply. "We will give them one chance to surrender before we breach to alleviate your conscience and we can, as I said, imprison those who surrender during the fighting. I'm a little sad we're not using the tank, I stole it for a reason." Krom spoke like they were putting down defective cattle rather than living, feeling, sentient beings who had their own lives. It was no different than normal, though his lack of emotion and the fact that he didn't care could be sensed by even a droid.

((EDIT: OOC Note: I spoke to Mosquito about the grabbing of Te'Veen's wrist.))

Wren's lips curled into a frown as Ta'Veen described the Republic involvement. Not surprising considering Eshan's loyalties but it would prove to be dangerous. Damned Republic dogs just won't die. Then the other man proved himself brave or stupid or both when Krom Skirata started ranting.

He thrust a finger at Skirata and quickly found himself in a wrist-lock with a pistol from the table aimed point blank. Wren's hand moved on instinct and drew his own pistol, aiming it at Krom. His brown eyes were cold and stony now.

Skirata holstered his weapon but Wren didn't as he listened to Krom's opinion. He wasn't wrong, but his penchant for violence was excessive even by Dav's standards. That was saying something coming from a man who'd murdered unarmed targets for money. But those had been single-target hits without a planet hanging in the balance.

"Murder or not, Skirata, what you're forgetting is this isn't just a raid," he let the pistol linger a moment before he finally holstered it. His hand stayed conspicuously close to the grip.

"We need to minimize the killings to the rebel scum. What you want to do will probably get non-combatants killed. Trust me, I've seen it happen with trigger happy mercs on the Rim. I don't care if we make orphans but I do care if we have billions of Echani against us."

"Ta'Veen's plan is a solid enough base," he went on as he elaborated his own version "But your tank could be useful. Like you said, we give them a chance to surrender right after you drive it through a wall. If they get stupid, we slag them. You come in one side, Ta'Veen and me come in the other."

They would surround them, according to Wren's plan. Either they'd realize the futility of their situation and surrender, or more likely, they'd get penned in from both sides. No one would have a chance to escape. No chance for a rebirth of the same group, they'd all be dead or imprisoned. It would send the message Krom wanted to deliver to the rest of the populace too.

"Well?," he said as he looked from one man to the other.

Te'Veen didn't seem very phased by having a gun up against his head. I guess after fighting enraged Sith, nothing really startled him anymore. Dav pulled his gun though, and the situation threatened to get a whole lot worse. Luckily, Krom was smart enough to back down before any damages were done.

"We take the tank, use it to intimidate the weak into just coming out so we can detain them. Afterwards, I want that Tank busting through the whole damn building. I don't want you to wipe them out, Krom. There's too much potential collateral. Use just enough firepower to scare them out. Me and Dav will stay posted outside, picking off the ones that try to run. I want them contained. If you insist that survivors will just continue the rebellion, then I don't want a single soul walking unless we let them."

Te'Veen paused, letting it sink in. "When we're sure that everyone inside is there for a fight, then me and Dav will head in and sweep the building." Te'Veen finished, looking to his companions for either their approval or arguments.

When Dav had decided to point his pistol, Krom couldn't help but smile behind his helmet. The sheer thrill of it all, the aggressive motion, the fact that his life was in danger, almost sent Krom into a giggle fit. What was worse was that he hadn't noticed Dav toggle the safety on his pistol, causing Krom to pique his head to the side like a curious akk dog. Krom was about to point it out to Dav when he began speaking.

Without activating his speaker, meaning everything that Krom said stayed inside his helmet, the man simply repeated one word the entire time Dav kept speaking. "Wrong." It was just a raid. Every operation, every battle, every war broke down into single raids. It was a fact that little raids, each a drop in the pond, added up to a bucket through which fires could be extinguished. To Krom, each engagement on the front lines was a mere raid, the objective being to inflict optimum casualties before receiving too many casualties in return. Raids tended to have simple objective and even larger scale missions, such as infiltrating an area and destroying an objective, boiled down to simple raids to Krom.

Krom, again, couldn't keep quiet when Dav spoke his second point. He waited for the two men to finish before speaking, clearly a tad annoyed that what he had attempted to convey earlier had not gotten through to his comrades. "If I kill you, your son will hate me and rise up. If I kill you, your son, and your wife, your friends will decide it's not worth it. Well, if you were aruetii, of course. We will offer non-combatants the choice to leave and we will tell them in no uncertain terms what will happen to those who stay. We, as Mandalorians, have no non-combatants. If their wives and children do not surrender, we must assume that they are combatants. If they are combatants, they die. I will not kill anyone who surrenders, although I personally consider it a poor tactical decision. These Echani are warriors and if they learn that they are facing a far superior foe, they will learn their place."

Krom continued, having taken another breath to help focus his thoughts. "I agree with your plan, Dav, minus being across from each other. We're bound to hit each other. I suggest using adjacent walls because I can fall back to your position or you can fall back to mine if required. That and, and this is the most important part, we don't risk shooting each other." Taking a look at Te'Veen, Krom continued. "I disagree almost wholeheartedly with your plan. If I blow a hole in one wall, there are quite a few possibilities. Even if they ALL run your way, you'll need to reload. And, even if you coordinate and keep one gun firing at all times, I doubt all of these guys are going to not shoot back, not pop smoke, etc. Then, you're purposefully keeping me out of your plan. You two go in and sweep the building and I sit outside doing what, babysitting? What happens when you go down a corridor that ends in two rooms and a mystery door, just hope someone doesn't come out and shoot you in the back?"

"My suggestion is that we first give them a chance to surrender, though by doing so they will likely activate any fortifications or take up whatever weapons are in their armory, though you guys seem to think it's necessary. Next, we blow a hole in one wall with the tank, which I can probably hook up to a remote control via my datapad, and enter via an adjoining wall, using the kicked up smoke to set up a position behind cover, or the tank, whichever is closer. We then advance and wipe out any remaining resistance. I'll need some zip-ties if we're gonna be taking prisoners, though, because I don't have any."

Wren frowned as he listened to the plan but ultimately found himself nodding. He looked to Te'Veen. Why not use the tank, since it was going to be there. But Skirata was wrong about the Echani, they would not be so easily intimidated.

"I agree with his plan," he added "We can sit here and debate or we can get this done and over with."

In truth, Dav wanted this finished. He didn't like any of this, having to do this to another warrior race whom he had respect for. Then again they were trying to rebel and they needed to be reminded who was in charge. That could be done with a good hard slap across the face, not the genocide proposed by Krom.

Te'Veen let a sigh, as he scooped his helmet up under one arm. "I'm all for the three of us going in there, but we need something to prevent them from running away as soon as they start to lose. These insurgents are successful only because they know how to recognize a loss, and they know how to get away with they lives. If a group of them run off, then they'll likely just move and restart, then we're all back to square one."

Te'Veen was silent for a moment. He had realized the only way this little trio would work out was with compromise. Te'Veen was willing to work with the other two, despite the fact that Krom was a lunatic, and Dav was just a follower. "Going back to your original idea, how'd you feel about collapsing the outside of the building, Krom? We could set the charges before they even know we're there, then blow them when the fighting. Blow three sides of the building, enter from one intact, and if they try to run they'll either have to climb a wall of rubble or run us and that tank of yours. Not to mention the panic something like that will probably inflict. Anyone inside who's untrained will be dazed and confused. Easy targets." Te'Veen suggested as he grabbed a couple spare battery packs.

Krom nodded to Dav when he mentioned getting it done and over with. Krom had gone too long without killing and he wanted to get back to Concord Dawn and bake some cookies before he died of old age. He listened patiently to Te'Veen and found himself agreeing more and more with the man who he had held at gunpoint not ten minutes prior. "I'm down with that, I'll have to run a simulation or two to make sure I have the right placement but I'll be able to make it happen."

Turning towards his weapons and away from his comrades, he ensured his two B-8R pistols were in their respective holsters and ready to go before slinging his R-8R rifle over his shoulder. Krom grabbed his utility launcher and his ACR 4-26 and made his way towards the tank. He gently loaded them into the tank, allowing him to switch out his armament if need be. Krom then returned to the table and grabbed his lightsaber or, rather, the lightsaber he had stolen from a Sith and claimed as his. Admiring it greatly, the Mandalorian clipped it to his belt and tossed his Sunspear pistol onto his crate of power packs before taking both into the tank.

While waiting for his comrades and able to shout back if they asked him a question, Krom began shoving spare power packs for each weapon into every conceivable location and grabbed a few thermal detonators just in case. Already in the tank was the explosives that their superiors had allowed them to use and Krom had no doubt that it would be enough to bring the entire building down, much less the three walls that the plan called for. He then pulled out his datapad, using the device to help hone his explosive placement to ensure maximum effectiveness.

As for Dav, he was taking his own weapons that he brought with him. The old saying went 'never bring an untried gun into a firefight'. An A140 rifle, a CMBP-15 pistol, a RUD with thermal detonators and his well-used heavy bladed knife. More importantly he was bringing his own skills and experience honed over childhood on Mandalore and a decade out in the wider galaxy.

Like Krom he was bringing more than his usual number of reloads. Better to bring too much than too little. He took up his helmet after one last time looking over the data. He slid it into place and again he saw through the familiar visor. Finally he grabbed a satchel of breaching charges and slung it over his shoulder.

He turned to face the other two.

"Well, what are you waiting for, banthas to fly?"

Te'Veen slowly pulled his helmet over head, and fixed it into place. Even now, it felt strange to know he was fighting side-by-side with the Mandalorians. He was a Mandalorian. Deep down, it made him feel like a bit of a traitor. His allegiances should still belong to The Republic, or at least to what remained of it. Yet here Te'Veen was, arming himself to anihilate an insurgency of freedom-fighters, struggling to gain their independence from the Dominion. He constantly had to remind himself that he was doing this for the greater good. The Republic gone now, and a Galaxy ruled by the Dominion was far better off than one enslaved by the Sith.

He stood solemnly for a moment, with his MST-R rifle slung over his shoulder, and the infamous Sunspear on his hip. Three thermal detonators found their places on his belt, along with extra power-packs of course. He'd also opted to grab a Vibro-blade. In such close quarters, a dagger could be a lifesaver...

After checking the missiles mounted to his wrist, Te'Veen turned to the other pair. "Let's get this over with..." He muttered.

With everyone in the tank, Krom moved to the driver's seat and opened the bay door of their safehouse. The tank was sluggish to respond, though you couldn't just order parts for an illegal tank so the tank was, essentially, kept together with hope, hate, and zip ties. It groaned when Krom shifted it from neutral into first, the vehicle violently lurching forward and then stalling, the engine misfiring a time or three before kicking itself into gear and lurching the tank forward a second time.

After the initial whiplash, which caused Krom to shout back a "Sorry, everyone," the tank drove smoothly, if slowly. The group's safehouse wasn't that far from the target location, though the low top speed of the tank meant it seemed like they had to travel further than they actually did. Krom had chosen a route that would draw little attention, as well as giving them a safe spot at which to drop off Krom.

As they neared the drop-off location, Krom slowed the tank to a near stop and opened the hatch above his head. Turning to his allies, he spoke loudly enough for them to hear. "I will go set the charges and meet you at the rendezvous location. See you soon, vode." Without giving them a chance to reply, he wedged the accelerator to the floor, grabbed the bag containing the explosives, and leapt from the now accelerating tank.

His jetpack carried him to safety and he watched the tank pick up speed as it moved away. Krom knew they would be able to fix the tank, though it would likely take them a minute and Krom preferred to work alone. Every time he worked with others, he had to answer a million questions and if he had to walk through every aspect of his demolition experience, he would likely kill whomever asked.

While the others got the tank in position, Krom quietly but quickly moved around the building. At key points along its foundation and supporting external walls, he planted more than enough explosives. To anyone else, it seemed like it was the right amount, though Krom's simulations had returned an ideal placement that would allow him to bring down the entire building in one swoop, even with the one wall remaining untouched. The others would not be able to tell, as Krom had kept his datapad on him, and the explosives themselves looked like an amount that would not destroy the building.

Having done his part, he ensured that everything was hooked into one detonator and, jogging, made his way back to his comrades. As he neared them, he handed Te'Veen the detonator with a sullen, if slightly angry, look on his face. In order to preempt any questions, Krom spoke first. "I set it up so that it collapses the walls and any escape tunnels but won't outright kill anyone. That's what I do, I kill people. This whole prevent casualties thing is against my way of doing things but you're the boss, boss. Press the button when you're ready to start this thing." Krom then activated his helmet mounted camera and, in order to ensure it would capture everything, moved back behind his comrades and shouldered his R-8R rifle, ready to head into battle.

It was off in the tank though Dav would've much preferred to be less obvious. Drawing nearer, Krom went ahead and jumped out of the tank after wedging down the accelerator. He growled as the fool was already going against the plan. With nothing else to do, Wren cursed as he moved up to steer the tank.

He brought the vehicle under control in time to roll up before the prefabricated structure.

"The karking moron," Dav snarled as he came back into view on his jetpack. When he landed, Dav turned to glare at him out the hatch.

"Idiot, now the whole fething building probably saw you!," he snapped. All that prevented Wren from drilling a new hole in Skirata's skull right then and there was the mission. It took all of his personal discipline to not waste Krom.

He turned his visor to Te'Veen, allegedly the one in charge, at least according to himself.

"Well, boss," he snarled with acid fairly dripping "What do we do now that your Republic friends know we're here already?"

As Krom returned, Te'Veen took the detonator in his hands. Now that he was here, he realized Krom's wisdom, as crazy as it was. If they were to take hostages, they'd have to find someway to detain them, or leave a man behind to guard them. As much as Te'Veen disliked the idea of killing everyone, it was the easiest and most efficient way of doing things.

Te'Veen opened his mouth, to let his comrades know that they wouldn't be taking prisoners, however, Dav's snarky comment cut him off.

"Drop the attitude, you acting like a damn child." Te'Veen spat at the other man. "Don't bother taking prisoners. We don't have the man power to control a group and combat the rest. Krom, after the blast, take the tank through the wall. Me and Dav will use it as cover and come in behind you." He suggested, as he placed his thumb over the detonator. I'd Krom agreed, he'd blow the wall. Dav's opinion meant little to Te'Veen at this point. Krom may be crazy, but when it came to a fight, Te'Veen was sure Krom would have his back. Dav however, was another matter. Te'Veen had taken charge of the operation, and Dav seemed to resent him for it, judging off of his recent words.

Krom could feel the hate pouring off of Dav and Krom knew he had touched a nerve. This, of course, was fine with Krom because he didn't care one way or another if someone hated him. Those that hated him tended to die and, while they were comrades, friendly fire was a reality of war when smoke and enemy fire blended the known into the unknown.

Krom simply smiled behind his visor, though listened as Te'Veen modified the plan to make it more fun. To be honest, Krom was going to kill the prisoners anyway for the very reasons Te'Veen had mentioned. Well, he was going to make it seem like they were stealing the tank and Krom just so happened to catch them in time to destroy all of the evidence. Still, he was glad that he didn't have to wait much longer and he could almost taste the fate of those in the building. "I've got you, boss. Let's do this thing." Krom would then walk the short distance to the tank and climb into the driver's hatch before closing said hatch and watching the building through the viewports.

When Te'Veen activated the detonator, the two Mandalorians would instantly notice that the demolition had not gone as planned, though they would be powerless to stop it. The demolition would be controlled enough to avoid any, or at least most, collateral damage and the entire structure would come down at once. The wall without explosives would remain mostly standing, though the demolished foundation and the forces sent through the structural supports would bring down the roof and brutally crush anyone inside. Those left alive would not be for long as the dust clogged their lungs and as various injuries took their tolls. Of course, Krom just couldn't wait for it to happen and watched with baited breath through the tank's viewports.

Dav could hardly believe his ears.

"You arrogant Republic dogs always think you know best," he told Te'Veen with soft malice "Look at how well the past five years have gone for you. The Sith control Coruscant and have your people enslaved throughout the Core."

He pointed to Skirata.

"You're listening to the plan of a psychopath, you idiot. Already you're forgetting your own so-called morals. But the Republic always forgot those when it suited them."

Wren shook his head. This fool seemed to forget the Republic forcing thousands of Mando'ade to fight their war against the Sith. Forcing thousands to their death in a war not their own. All because the Republic always knows best.

"When things go wrong," he said finally to Te'Veen "You will see, and if it comes to it I will not save you, clanless."

He turned away and readied his weapons for the slaughter. There was going to be one, he knew from seeing too many situations like this one. From being in too many of them. As with those times before he was going to walk out of it alive.
