COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE: Abel is rather average in a universe of untold billions standing at a unimpressive 6'3. He has misty green eyes that hold a small glimmer of humor in them. He weighs 193 pounds, while not as burly as others, it has to be noted that his muscle is stretched along a larger body frame. His frame is one of broad shoulders and a thin waist not uncommon among fellow soldiers.
His short light brown hair is generally matted down from his frequent usage of hats or helmets. He cheek bones are high giving him a sharper face then many with a long almost hawkish nose. His skin is tan and leathery only adding on to his appeal of the 'stern soldier'. His eyebrows are thin with a slight arch as if waiting to jump into an expression at the merest whim.
Abel dresses to impress. You could almost call him vain. He wears his military uniform often as that is what people want from him. When speaking to people of... higher birth, what they want to hear is war stories. When speaking to a civilian (preferably a woman), they want a war hero. He found long ago no one truly cares on the caliber of hero as long as their fantasies can run wild. Who would Abel be if he didn't indulge them?

PERSONALITY: Quite simply, Abel is an opportunistic coward. He has never enjoyed the life of a soldier and being shot at terrifies him. Talent and practice have given him the ability to mask this. In truth he has masked so much of himself he is not sure who the 'real' Abel is anymore. He takes on the persona of the caring leader whose bravery is tempered only by his love of his men. The one who puts other soldiers before himself, although in truth, the only reason he acts as such is when a man thinks you will die for them, they are more willing to take a blaster for you.
As far as Abel is concerned the more warm bodies he can put between himself and the enemy the better. Of course this persona does tend to get him into trouble as people tend to expect him to do something heroic much to his dismay. He views many of the braver soldiers to be reckless fools preferring the men and women who value their soldiers lives because that in turn helps keep his neck off the chopping block.
Abel has an intense fear of Jedi's and Sith. He has gotten so good at his acting that he can trick Jedi's since they tend to only examine the surface level of the thoughts.. but he is always fearful that someday someone will see past his mask. On that day, what will he have left?
Strangely the only time he truly feels no fear on the battlefield is when he believes he is going to die. In those moments of near death, he becomes calm. Perhaps on a sub-conscious level he understands that there is nothing he can truly do anymore.
LIKES: He has a love of drinks. He is by far no alcoholic as he doesn't want to make a slip of the tongue and does not like being aware in a situation, any situation. He enjoys Membrosia as much as the next man but his favorite is Tihaar a powerful Mandalorian spirit. There have been times when instead of liquid its consistence was more in line with a syrup, but he has acquired a taste for it. A sentiment many do not share.
Like most men he enjoys female company.
DISLIKES: As one would expect from such a man he hates those that may be able to see through his guise such as Sith or Jedi, he also is terrified of getting shot at so is not fond of the front lines. The one thing he avoids and dodges more then blasters, however, is the dreaded enemy of all: Paperwork.
STRENGTHS: Able is an amazing actor. One who can move an audience to his whims and enjoys theatrics. He is able to inspire the common soldier (usually for the purpose of a meat shield). He is also gifted in reading people as it helps with his acting if he is better able to understand what people will respond to.
He is a trained soldier, so does know how to fight, just would rather not. He also has some basic tactics. He is no tactical genius, but he does know when to flee and when to fight.
He has a 6th sense of danger. His palms will get sweaty when he is entering a dangerous situation which has given him a minor paranoia. He also seems to have the devils luck. He will avoid a small danger only to run into a bigger one.
WEAKNESSES: Able can be considered mentally unstable as he relies purely on his mask. He has no conception of who he truly is only of what he has built himself into. Thanks to this fake facade, he is also not one for close attachments or commitments with people. He keeps all at a distance due to being afraid of what they could learn.
Since his own survival is paramount, his true loyalty to anyone is... questionable.

I'm not adding this in. I know, big disappointment, but for this character a background will ruin my fun. When asked on his background, he will lie to people making up a story for his own amusement. From his personality, its easy to see that Abel is not one to tell people his life story, and I want to develop his personality fully without people having a look as to what made him into what he is. Perhaps by some cruel twist of fate (which I want to happen often to Abel) He will someday find someone he trust enough to tell them his dull life story.
