Shawn watched as what was playing out, a suprise attack on the defending droids, and creatures. and smiled "not how I would have done it but lets see if he will make it through."

the special grenades detonated blowing up most of the forces on that side of the room but two cathhounds made it through the explosion and charged at Zan, while the EMP shut down half of the droids right but the remaining ones continued to fire on zan. the ones infront of Zan were being mowed down by his fire, but a few missed there marks and the droids spared from the shots made it there purpose to take Zan out.

Zan was pleased to see that the grenades did most of their intended jobs, but those other droids were going to be a problem. Zan had a crazy idea. He quickly grabbed the remains of one of the droids and used it as a improvised shield. The bulk of the droids body should provide cover from the oncoming blasts and should keep something between him and the hounds.

Although being weighed down by the droid, Zan made his way to the right side and started charging the opposing droids, blasting away as fast as his blaster would shoot.

as the droids fired at zan and the shots just imbeding, and melting the droid shield zan was carying. All the droids infron of zan were destroyed and the hounds were now trying to come at his exposed flanks, and back side.

Zan was glad to clear those annoying droids, but now a new problem had arose. So thinking quickly, Zan hatched a crazy plan.

He dashed to the pile of destroyed droids and threw what remaining grenades he had left behind him and to his side. Then he used the droids as cover, because he knew this was gonna be one hell of an explosion.

The blast practicaly blasted everything in the room killing the remaining hounds and all but destroying the flag, all what was left of the flag was a half chared peice of clouth.

"That was recless way to recless, but at least he's alive." Shawn pressed a button and the maze walls retracted back into the floor and the exit door opened. Shawn made his way to the door, and placeing the rifle back on the rack.

Zan popped up from the pile of the now charred droid remains. He looked around for a sec and spotted the remains of the flag.

Just then the walls went back into the ground and a door opened up. Zan knew that he had finished this part of his training.

Zan got up grabbed the flag remains and headed out the door.

Shawn stoped Zan "well you passed but barly the flag is practicaly destroyed. heres your guild card and your officialy ranked as a skilled hunter home stationed here in the core worlds. you can do low level hunts on your own, and if you decied to do a High level hunts you need back up from a elite hunter, or two other experiance hunters. Congradulation." Shawn said walking away then stoped and turned to Zan "Oh By the way I set up a training regiment with Ares Varga, since watching you I beleave it can do you some good."

Zan walked over to Mac'Neal and took the card he was handed.Then Zan said" Thanks for the card and er sorry about the flag. As for the training with Ares, I would like to first talk to him about it. As for the hunts I understand. For now I think I'll be heading over to the medical bay to get this lung patched up."

Zan then walked past Mac'Neal and went to the medical bay.

"Its the first door on the left." Shawn smirked as he walked away to do other duties.
